This place needs a makeover big time cosmetically. But the sushi is phenomenal. Get the Mango Tango, its so damn good. The misspelling on the menu, the time limits are adorable. I dont do All u can eat, but those who do, they offer it for $32 that includes beer and saki!! Loved this place.

The sushi here is always amazing! I wish I could say the same for the staff.i have had really slow service but iv also had really great service just depends on whos on staff that day I guess. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover!!!
Nice place for AYCE. The sushi is good but the miso soup is REALLY SO-SO. Nice and friendly services. I will definitely recommend the sushi, however, I dont recommend the salmon collar at all.
My gf and I have been coming here for years and have no plans of stopping. This is by far the best sushi for the best price. Half off specialty rolls end up working out better for us compared to AYCE. If we have leftovers, we can take them home without worrying about paying extra. The portion sizes for non sushi items are great too, the spicy edamame comes as an absolute mound of a plate. Cant recommend this place more

The food was very good the service was a little bit slow even though there wasn’t many people inside. Also had to keep getting the staffs attention for things we needed instead of them checking on us. But overall it wasn’t bad
I used to go all the time with my family. The food is delicious, and staff is always friendly. Sadly, they no longer offer their all you can eat option, but it was great while it lasted. Hopefully well get to go in the future!
They forgot our appetizer, but it was on the bill. Mentioned it to the nice lady to please take it off the bill, she did and apologized. As we were getting ready to leave they actually made us that app they forgot and gave it to us free! :-D
It has been several years that we have visited and must say it was sad to come back with the same expectations from back then. The food did not have the same taste it seemed to taste the same (one roll to the other) the calamari rings fell apart from the breading and somewhat hard. Cecilia was a delight as well as Susan. Customer service is great but if the food is not up to standard then we miss the point. Sadly this time it disappointed 😞. They also took out the All you can eat option however to compensate they offer 40% off all rolls. I hope they step up their game and Fix the food.
Luv this place, love their rolly polly, jalapeño peppers, miso soup, mexican roll, tiger roll, sashimi salad ect and you cant miss their green tea & vanilla ice cream for dessert 😋
Food is really good the cooks are amazing but the customer service is awful. I called for takeout and was on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called again right away and the line became “busy” the lady told me she turned off the phone because they were “so busy” even though they weren’t . She continued to be extremely rude and rushed me to order and pay. Really unprofessional to turn off the phone and ignore me being on hold .
The Sushi was all very good, everyone in our group, will return.Dont let the exterior appearance fool you.

Horrible place it is disgusting do not recommend. They don’t even have the original Siracha, the one they have taste expired and the El sauce as well. I ordered an Alaska roll and the salmons had white gooey ontop. Everyone be careful you might get food poising or infection

Had a terrible experience with small Asian lady because I asked for a fork for my rolls instead chop sticks . She give me attitude when I asked for napkins and just walked away and saw her yell at her co worker . Unacceptable service won’t be coming back again . Get better employees!

My experience here was so good! Not only was the service friendly and attentive, but the salmon & yellowtail sashimi with eel sauce was so fresh and tasty and it literally felt as if it just melted in my mouth. I also highly recommend the Rock n Roll roll and the Canadian roll, also had these with eel sauce. And if that wasn’t enough, the muscles just flat out blew my taste buds away! I’ve had this exact same order at other sushi joints and none have ever compelled me to write a review until I had sake 2 me in Montclair. We will definitely be returning again soon! Sushi was just okay, its a Korean establishment that makes kimbap-sized rolls for your sushi. The chefs are seemingly noobs, cheap for hire, but the place is meant to provide savings so makes sense.
BEWARE!!!! THIS PLACE IS SHADY!!! We will not come back. Im actually SHOCKED at any good reviews. We just left and here is my review.. We were a party of 4. My husband and I meet our daughter and her fiance for dinner every Wednesday at the halfway mark between Colton and Placentia. We ordered Garlic Edamame (Delicious - ⭐)The Sushi and Sushimi was pretty tasty ⭐. The Miso Soup was not that good. It had no flavor. The wasabi was literally green paste NOT WASABI. The rolls were super bland and unexciting. We got 5 rolls. Not one of them had anything worth highlighting. I can tell you that the Dynamite Roll with the baked scallops and shrimp was chewy. Pretty sure that was the worst one. The rest were ok but absolutely nothing special. We ate what we ordered. We asked to pay our bill and handed them the card. They brought back the receipt to be signed. My husband usually tips 20% and rounds up...and signs... He never looks at the bill but it was almost $200 and all the rolls were supposed to be 50% off.... so I snatched it and reviewed everything. They messed up one one thing which would have saved is $8. I honestly would not have said anything EXCEPT THEY ADDED 15% GRATUITY to the itemized receipt but SAID NOTHING and it was POSTED NOWHERE. The signature slip did not mention that gratuity had already been added and left a space to leave a tip. THAT IS DIRTY business. They did give me my $8 overcharge back in cash which I would not have asked for but felt disrespected. Its BAD BUSINESS to charge gratuity on a party of 4 and worse business to not let us know they did it. They lost 5% rounded up and we wont come back. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!

I have come here a couple of times and for me this was the spot, but last time the service was really bad in matters of attention. I had to ask for some things twice, the cucumber salad didnt even look like before. 50% off on special rolls. Im not saying the food tasted bad but it seems like they lost their motivation to provide good service. I also dont know if its legal or not to add the 15% tip themselves.

High quality, fresh fish. A variety of options. No more all you can eat but 50% off of specialty rolls (at time of posting this). Spent 20-30 per person because we ate a whole lotta sushi. Only thing is that they bring everything out at once so if you order a lot, it takes a while to get to your table.
This place is excellent. Stellar customer service from the second we walked through the door. We were greeted by everyone as we walked through to our booth. Upon getting to the booth, a waitress approached us to ask if we were happy with our seating arrangements, which was really nice. The food was great, the price was even better. $25 per person for all you can eat. Will definitely be returning to this spot.
Pre COVID this place was amazing. They dont have AYCE anymore so that was disappointing. We went at around 2pm on a Saturday and it was busy. The service was quite slow and people that came in after us got their food before us. The quality has diminished a bit. Rolls are smaller and they gave less sauce and less fish on the cut rolls. The nigiri still came with good sized pieces of fish but a few pieces of the fish werent the freshest either. It was just okay. It used to be way better though.
Honestly the vibe was weird here. I thought I would walk into a welcoming place but it was dark and dingy. Kinda expensive and the owner seem to care less if my food was spilling on the side when I picked up my order. The older lady was rushing me and I over heard a costumer complaint about food missing 🤨 over all I don’t think I will come back.
Its not all you can eat like before. However still great quality sushi and highly recommend for everyone to at least try it once.
Really disappointed about the experience we had today. This was my go-to sushi restaurant, before I moved out of California. They were not doing All You Can Eat Sushi (oh well), they sat us at a table in the back where it was super hot, service was never there, had to ask multiple times for boats and wasabi, and the muscles lacked the cream/cheese sauce. They also wanted to charge me 15% tip for the 4 of us plus a baby and a toddler. I’m not happy about this experience, and sadly will probably never come here again.
The food is great. My husband and I have been here 4 times now and we have not been disappointed yet. The ladies there are nice with senses of humor. Sushi is a new found like for me and this place is great. Their prices are too. Love it.
Great place. Always packed when I come here but the wait to be seated is never long. The staff is so friendly from the waitresses/waiters to the chefs. All you can eat is the best, There is even a all you can drink option with Hot Sake and Sapporo beer on draft. Im never disappointed when I come here. Highly recommend this place if you love sushi.

The price was decent but, you get what you pay for in life. The sushi didnt taste fresh and it was on the warmer side. I would rather pay a little more for something better. Someone recommended this place because, of the bottomless pitchers.
I recently went with my family for their all you can eat ; food was alright, service was slow. As we reach the end of our lunch another server comes to pick up the check and looks at how much we tipped and she yelled out “Really only a 5 dollar tip!?” And gave us the dirtiest look ever I will not be returning here due to the harassment for tipping very little .

Love this place! The food is great and the service is awesome! The rolls are so good! They have an all you can eat menu for lunch and dinner. If you don’t want all you can eat or sushi, there is a menu with bento boxes and chicken and other food! Kids are welcome here and great for a night out with the girls or a date or dinner with the family!
The fish didnt taste fresh it left a bad taste in my mouth for hours. the service was okay but we were mostly neglected by the staff and when they did come around they were rude. We went on a Thursday night it was some what busy they sat us in the back of the restaurant and the seating was comfortable but the smell coming from the bathroom was cringe worthy it smelled like we were in the sewer. Even people around us had to move others were covering their faces trying to stifle the smell while they ate. We moved after 15 minutes of sitting there and were still unable to finish our meal. The chefs area wasnt clean and the parking was small. I will not be returning and I do not recommend anyone go there as well.
Cant say much about this place. I drive by it everytime I go down holt blvd thought I give it a try, so I looked online to see more info like if you needed reservations, prices etc.The website was not up to date, it said it had all you can eat but when I got there they didnt offer it. Management should really focus on their employees customer skills. Mind you that I have never been there before and wanted a little more explanation about their menu but they act like you should no it all. Food was not bad .

The rolls are tasty and decently priced.HOWEVER for the past few times that I’ve been here, the service has been very poor.My most recent visit was tonight with family members and ordered three rolls; dynamite, spicy tuna tempura and snow. The first plate that came out the server looked at us and asked “what is this?”. We were obviously confused as he’s the server and should know the food that is served there. He immediately left to check and came back to find out it was indeed our rolls. The other two plates took another 15 minutes to arrive.The server never checked in on us for the entire time we were there and I had to constantly flag him down. It was also not a busy night; about a third of the restaurant was filled. I ordered some more rolls to go and boxes for our leftovers. It took 20 minutes to receive the order, and our server forgot about our boxes so I had to remind him and asked him to bring the check.If you would like subpar service with decent rolls, this is the place for you. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Favorite all you can eat sushi place the menu has a big selection for $30 per person not bad at all. My favorite roll is the mango tango ( fresh salmon, cream cheese and mango). The venue needs up keep but the food is still delicious.

The food was good the service was okay i did the lunch special with a college friend. We barly make ends meet and where craving sushi. We had enough for the bill and left couple dollars for the tip. The lady who picked our bill up who wasnt even our server kept looking at our bill and laughed and read our tip out loud in front of everyone trying to humiliate us. Supper unprofessional and i hope no one ever experiences this again. I would much rather drive to rancho and spend gas than come here again!
I love love love this place. They always greet our table with the pees and ginger. We always get a free plate. The ice tea is always perfect... the ladies are nice.. great place to go with the family.. I eat there regularly with the hubby and kids.. really good food.. gotta try it.

I started going to Sake when it was still Joes Sushi, about 2 years ago..? I was very excited about this place, whenever my family and I planned to go we always made reservations due to its high demand/busy nights. Recently, a lot has changed; the name, the service, and even the quality of food. Im not sure if the cucumber salad they serve now differs from lunch to dinner, but before we used to get a nice assortment of fish, some imitation crab, cucumber, and some stringy things; all very delicious. My most recent visit, June 2012, I never had fish in my salad... my misplaced soup only got to the table once of the three times I ordered it, I got my soup during round three of my all you can eat even though I ordered it in round 1, the eel was hard... the worst part was that I ordered 2 volcano rolls in the last round... 20minutes after ordering I got one.... I stayed there for another 40minutes and was told that the second was baking. I stayed for another 30minutes and couldnt stay any longer. Most of the food did taste great, when it did actually get to the table.
Went with a party 6. 4 adults and 2 children. They charged us 18% gratuity tip. When we asked the waiter why they were charging us 18% tip on a party of 6 ppl, she just laughed and took the receipt. Only to bring it back and change it to 15% . Waiters rush you to order and watch everything you do. Wont go back again and as we walked out we noticed they had a grade B🤮
Not much for ambiance. A few televisions around the walls to watch a game or two. But what really matters at an all you can eat sushi place is the food. And Sake 2 Me delivers. We had lunch for twenty dollars. The food was ample and fresh.
Terrible experience. We were there is past Sunday Sep 16th, 2018. Had the tuna and salmon and have both been so sick with food poison. I called them and they said I had to go to the hospital and get a report from the Dr. While we were eating there the glass of water was dirty, had to bring it to their attention. Overall bad experience, be careful what you order.
Horrible! The staff stalked me and my friends! I asked a simple question about the all you can eat sushi and they were very stern about 1 per person. Then the whole staff starred at me and my friends the whole time we were eating to make sure we were not sharing the sushi. EVEN came over to the table when I took a bite into my food to make sure I was not eating the sushi! Creepy! I dont want your whole staff starring at me like a criminal while I eat. I do not recommend if you are with a group of people!

Surprisingly, the sushi is very fresh. Just make sure they dont mistakenly fill you up with dishes you didnt order. And easy on the sauce for the mussels would be better. Bon appetit, I dont have to drive too far to find good sushi.
It really isnt what it used to be. There was a hair in my food and they mixed up my order. They have a B rating at the moment. All you can eat is also off the menu.

I dont exactly like the layout of the place but man is the customer service awesome. There is the one Lady, who I assume is the manager, telling people what to doing and taking care of all the small tasks so that the waiters can focus on the customers. She does it all. The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of five is because they took Peppered Salmon off the menu. But everything is awesome here! I would definitely recommend it. and my tip to the management: PLAY MORE DODGER GAMES. GET TWC!

We went there to eat...they said they close at 10 pm I came in around 9:20 pm stood at the podium for 5 minutes... Okay they were busy I understand that, there was a cashier person standing and waitresses running around & within those 3 workers no one ever acknowledged us! Like they passed by like no ones at the door.. They just stared at us like we didnt exist! I work at a restaurant business & never have I encounter that kind of rudeness and when they finally acknowledged us they told us to eat fast and order fast?? Like really??? She looked mad because they were doing last call at 9:30 and were just about to sit... Ended up leaving after all that, Literally ruined my night..
Ive taken my girlfriend here for dinner a few times and shes loved it on all occasions. Each time weve enjoyed their AYCE sushi. The place is nice, but can get busy at times. Good atmosphere, and good food. The staff is generally nice and friendly. Our past visit we didnt quite finish all of our food, which prompted comments from our server about how maybe next time we shouldnt order as much, because next time we would be charged for anything we didnt finish. That didnt make any sense to us from an AYCE sushi bar. We werent abusing anything. We got well let it slide this time comment from the server. We thought that was a little weird. They were very nice in how they said it, but the whole thing came off a bit rude. Just thought Id share that. If anybody from Sake 2 Me sushi reads this, you should probably reconsidering telling your customers that. Figure out a different way of saying it because it some might find it offensive.Overall our food was great, and that interesting experience probably wont discourage us from ever coming here again, or recommending it to our friends. Either way, just keep it mind.

Worth it. But the service wasnt that great. Took forever to get food in between rounds and to get water. There is one specific waitress that always asks for tips when we pay. Watch out for that waitress, she has glasses.
Slow service and very impolite staff. My wife and I ate here and when we were going to pay our check the women said you didnt leave a tip on here and pointed to the check. She also said you didnt leave a tip at the table hunting for me to put one on the check I simply replied with saying the service was slow so I wasnt going to leave one if anyone eats here expect to be harassed for a tip for service thats very slow the only good thing about this place was the food. Lastly when I declined the tip the woman made the rudest face to me very unproffessional.
Excellent AYCE sushi. The nigiri sushi has very little rice to fish ratio which allows you to sample more variety before filling up. The tempura might be the best Ive had because again they cut the vegetables very thin so each piece is crunchy. My second time there and I will return every time I visit the area.
Did the AYCE sushi, it was well worth the money... The Roly Poly was my favorite, I think. Wait staff was friendly and helpful in deciding which rolls to choose... Ill definitely be back and thats the greatest compliment you can give!

I love this place, all of the waiters are always nice, the food is excellent and the service is good. i was always told that you can take 2 rolls to go if you dont eat it all and it has never been an issue until dealing with the waiter justin who basically watched me eat one piece of a roll so that i can take it to go. i felt like throwing up right at the table but apparently Justin said it made a difference. Rude boy whom ive never seen there and doesnt know what he was doing. He also never filled my drink and wouldnt check to see if we were ok, or needed anything else....bad service this time...i will be back but hope i dont get another knucklehead like Justin as a waiter again....
Maybe people in this area dont know what a good sushi restaurant is because I cant figure out the high rankings. Ive been to this Sake 2Me atleast 3 times in last 2 years. The couple young servers are basically friendly, the older couple ladies (guessin owners/managers) are terrible. Will openly squabble w you if you have ANY food left on your plates ( I hate wasting food, they behave ridiculous), better make sure everyone in your party sits at same time because once you place your 1st round order, they will not let you order if you joined 5 mins late. You are supposed to sit there and wait till 2nd round of ordering (and once they deem your plates thoroughly cleaned) then you may have something youd like to eat while still paying the full $30. I literally moved to the next table over to my group of 6 friends so the rude old lady would be forced to give me my own order sheet! Drive to the Sake2Me in RC, waaaaay better food, service, TREATMENT, etc. Really cant stress the low quality mind set of Ontario one.
First, let me say this: The sushi is delicious. We had a sake2me roll and a Philadelphia crunch roll and both were very good. We also ordered a chicken cutlet plate but we were told that they dont have it anymore. Instead, I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate. It came with a pretty good miso soup, some rice that i thought was good and a salad that my wife ate and described as fine. the chicken teriyaki however was bland. I also ordered an eel roll that my server seemed to completely forget about so I never got to try it. The service (or perhaps my hostess) wasnt good in my opinion. Im not sure how busy it was or wasnt at the time but after our chicken teriyaki arrived (at which time I ordered the eel roll) I never saw her again. There was a 2nd host who came to my wife and I and refilled our water. I asked for the check and let him know that our roll never came but that we didnt want it anymore. The price is good but i dont think Ill be coming back here when there are other sushi places that have better service.
The price on the table is not right and you have pay the price they say. They should chance the price on the table so you could know how much you are paying.
Food is great. To bad the last two times Ive gone I was left for over 45 minutes with edame and water. The waitress said they ran out of rice and thats why I had to wait the first time all while they were bringing out sushi left and right to all of the tables around me. The second time they kept saying it was coming out then the manager came over and said sorry we lost your all u can eat paper to please reorder. Took them almost a hour to notice that? All in all as much as I like this place they no longer deserve my business. I will be scoping out a new spot. So long Sake u were good in the beginning but ur service has gone down hill and thats how I lose customers

The food was ok, one of the plates smelt funky (and Im not saying this to hate or be a drag, I love sushi), but the reason why I rated it 2 stars was because after we got sat down, our waiter said he would be back with our drinks, and (not exaggerating) he comes back 20 minutes later and then asks what we want to get, so we get the all you can eat, we put in our orders. We get the food not too later, but after we wanted to put in another order, we were looking for our waiter and he was no where to be seen, so we try to get the attention of another waitress, she sees us and ignores us. We let it go, and 35 minutes later, she finally comes to tell us that our waiter left without saying anything. So ended up being our waitress, we put in our orders, and we shortly we receive them, but when we ran out water, we tried to get our attention again and she saw us completely ignored us and went to talk to her buddy. I dont think I will be coming here again. What a bummer. :/
Ive had the lunch Bento box twice. Its a good price with many choices. The food is fresh, good and on time. Id go back and recommend to sushi lovers.
Shushi was ok. But the bathroom was gross and looked as if it was falling apart. The waitress forgot my miso soup and charged me for it. The cups also looked cloudy and dirty. My family and I didnt stay long.
Awful experience. Walked in and immediately some worker/cook said something to me in chinese or whatever language they speak and Im assuming it was derogatory. The waitress whos name is apparently cathy was atrocious. Seemed like she was in a rush to get us out of there. Paid with cash and she assumed the bills were fake because she checked them in front of me. You can tell she most likely hates her life since she tries to take it out passive aggressively thinking shes slick, try harder ling ling.
At the end of our meal we paid our bill & the lady brought it back to the table and left. We than left towards the parking lot as we did the lady ran out screaming at us. She said she couldn’t find the reciept on the table. So, to “resolve the issue” she kept running back and forth from parking lot to restraunt yelling at us, “WHERE DID U PUT MY COPY!” We got in our car and she really ran out and OPENED my husbands car door.. didn’t knock or nothing just ripped our car door open for us to sign the bill for a debit receipt.
They have a great lunch specials and the food is good! The ladies there dont speak much English and they could come off a bit on the rude side but Ive never had bad service.
Will be going again great food the all you can eat option awesome. Friendly and helpful employees. Dont judge a book by its cover. My family and I will be going back soon, my birthday is around the corner. 😁

Thank God todays my last day here. I swear i have never seen such a dirty kitchen in my life. Not only are all the walls filthy and black. The wall in refrigerator is terrifying. All seafood is open amd thawed put God knows for how long. Be cautious on what you order fried. They never change the oil. The reuse it. Sushi cooks never wash their hands eaxpecially after a smoke break. This ppace needs to be shut down... Horrible
The food was great. But I guess all you can eat means two at a time. And they brought me 1 roll when I asked for 3. But then they just ended up bringing 2.

My wife and i have been coming here since we started dating and now we bring our son we us. We would never change it for any other place . the quality is amazing and the service is great. We come evefy week abd never have been desapointed on the food, price or service.
Bad service first time in didnt explain the deal I ended up paying WAY more than I was supposed to. Plus the staff got mad at us for ordering way more than the usual.. not a good date nor experience pliz ask them to be specific on how to order n have them explain everything like of ur just a child, or you will be over charged.

Horrible customer service. The lady automatically chose her tip amount. I didnt see this rule on the menu or anywhere posted in the restaurant. I ended up paying 34 dollars on a 25 dollar meal due her choosing how much she should be tipped.
I ordered avocado rolls from here and got food poisoning!! I can only imagine how dirty their raw fish and cooking space is 🤢 I remember when they passed the inspection test with a C. 😷
I forgot my purse on the chair ... Went back to work. 2 hours later I get off ... My gas light turns on.. I go to the gas station...no purse .. Yikes... I called Sake and they had my purse in a safe place ... What a blessing!!! Cant imagine what I would have done. Thanks Sake 2Me

Staff were kind of in a bad mood? There isnt much variety and they put a sauce on all of the rolls which makes everything almost taste the same.

Servers are rude sometimes they made fun of me becousr cashier forgot to give me my $6.00 change nd she went and told his cooworkers whilw one of them said keep tbe change honey.. What a hell that was all i had left for gas .. That ia plane rude when they make fun of you on there language .

Will never go there again, walked in with 9 person group and sat ourselves in the back of the restaurant since no one came up to us. We waited for over 10min before I had to get up to find someone to take our order. Come to find out there is a paper we fill out with what we want. We were never told we had to do that. Horrible service!!

2019-12-29 04:43:16The entrance is really easy to drive past. By looking at the exterior I dont think I would notice it. The service was fast, but the rolls were a bit on the bland side. The shrimp tempura was really good tho. The waitress was really good at checking on us and was super friendly.

2020-10-23 04:01:02Not sure what happened but Ive hard better sushi 🍣 from Sake 2 Me pre-covid. I mean the fish tasted fresh but something was off. Maybe because we ate outdoors and the fish got hot quick. We will try again when all the madness goes away. Service was good as well.

2022-02-20 00:07:08We went 2/18/22 and Unfortunately their All you can eat is no longer available. They did have 50% off selected Rolls. Ordered 7 Rolls, 4 Misos, 1 kids Meal, 1 water, 2 Hot Teas, and 2 Sapporos came out to just under $100 with 15% gratuity that they now include.

2017-12-11 00:08:45First off they arent using real Wasabi, everything baked or fried was burnt and most of the fish wasnt fresh. Roll quulity was bad too, old avocado, and the sushi wasnt rolled properly. They also cheaped out on the soy sauce, like not the real kikoman stuff, avoid this place like the plauge.
