RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL Service/ Letter B on WINDOWAfter yelping Green tea ice cream near me, called in order for 2 Green Tea Ice Creams. Went to pick up order walked back to car to discover whipcream, cherries, and CHOCOLATE SAUCE??? all over my ice cream. Who puts chocolate sauce on Green Tea Ice Cream? I sat in car tried to unsuccessfully scoop off toppings and eat around chocolate but was disgusted.Walked back to door 3min later to ask for 5.00 back and return the icecream, to which the gentlemen waiter, politely offered to remake. At that point I already felt sick and disgusted still tasting the mixture of chocolate and tea in my mouth i politely requested a refund, declining remake of ice-cream.They declined my refund. Moments later a young hispanic waitress comes over to rudely reiterate that I cant get my 5.0 back due to the owner Emily not being in for another 2 hrs. I asked the young waitress if Ice cream Toppings are listed on the menu? She opened menu to search only to discover that NO, toppings are not listed on top of desserts.Me still wondering how this is my fault that they would assume someone wants 3 diff toppings drizzled over their ice cream, calmly explained that this is my first time experiencing their restaurant so I am not aware of their toppings they place on desserts without notifying the customer, hispanic teenage girl began over talking me loudly and continuing to claim that She can make me another, but thats all, to which I responded mam, I am not upset, please stop overtalking me I would rather a refund instead of more ice cream she continued over talking.I calmly old her i was fine to come back to speak to emily the owner in 2 hrs for the $5.0 refund, but the young waitress hostile and loud continued over talking me unaware that she had gotten what she wanted and kept shouting at me for my name and number for a follow up.I had to continuously tell her that I am not upset at her. But im unsure she heard me w/ her overtalking and continued to explain she felt like i was taking it out on her for the company policy. To which I, for a 4th time stated I am not mad at her for the company policy and that I understood and would come back, I asked her for her name and she gave it with rolled eyes and additional rude remarks, as I penned her name down on my receipt, the polite gentleman server from earlier reached beyond the rude teenage female server and handed me my $5.0.Which I calmly thanked him told him.I again was not upset w any of them, and that I appreciated him.Through this whole unneccessary HORRIBLE treatment of service another customer stood in line spectating. SAD.Such a shame that employees would behave so rudely, Especially in front of other customers.I should have found a new location when I pulled up to find a Letter B stuck on Their Restaurant Window.Sad.
Sake 2 Me Sushi Montclair
5660 Holt Blvd, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
Title: Disappointing Experience at Sake 2 MeRating: ★☆☆☆☆Review:My recent visit to Sake 2 Me left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with the overall quality of service. From start to finish, the experience was marred by numerous shortcomings that made it a regrettable dining choice.First and foremost, the waitstaff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout the entire evening. It took an unreasonably long time for them to take our orders, and even longer for the food to arrive. Our requests for refills on beverages were consistently ignored, and it felt like we were an afterthought to the staff. Moreover, the food itself was far from satisfactory. The sushi rolls lacked freshness and flavor, and some even had an unpleasant fishy smell. The rice was poorly cooked and sticky, making it difficult to enjoy the rolls. The portion sizes were disappointingly small, especially considering the prices they charged. The ambiance of the restaurant was another letdown. The lighting was excessively dim, making it difficult to read the menu or see our food properly. The tables were not adequately cleaned, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. To add insult to injury, when we brought up our concerns to the manager, they displayed a dismissive and unapologetic attitude, showing no interest in rectifying the situation or addressing our dissatisfaction. This lack of accountability and customer care only exacerbated the negative experience.Considering the exorbitant prices and the subpar quality of both the service and the food, I cannot recommend Sake 2 Me. There are far better options available in town that offer superior dining experiences and value for money. I strongly advise against wasting your time and money at this establishment.
WaBa Grill
9015 Central Ave Ste D, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
Worst Waba Grill. Supposedly a corporate store but is not run like one. I ordered a Avocado rice bowl with a side of bbq ranch. Apparently they no longer make bbq ranch. (understandable if it doesnt sell) Employees (the ladies) seemed rude. The cooks were nice i asked one for soy sauce because the ladies were in the back....im assuming prepping. Got back to work to eat my food and there was a hair in my rice... BUMMER. Also, didnt seem like they washed the rice 3 times like theyre supposed to... kind of slimy/sticky... not a good consistency.Avocado was great and perfectly fanned with over 9 slices. Then my coworker goes to get herself a steak bowl with avocado and comes back (not knowing my experience) with the same experience with the employees as i had. Now, as far as claiming to be corporate uniforms were not up to standards. hair wasnt fully contained and non slips were not worn by all employees. Was not greeted with the hi welcome as i usually am by other corporate stores/ franchises.and no friendly smiles were seen (aside from the one cook that got my soy sauce)i think this corporate store needs a revamp of new employees. (aside from the cooks)honestly disappointed.
Panda Express
4467 Mission Blvd, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
The food at this location was a little above your average Panda Express, although the turnover was a little low. The service was very friendly and the ambience from what I could tell since I did not eat there looked great and everything was clean, neat and organized. I wish that small entries were a little not so small, if that makes sense. I asked for three chili sauce sachets and three soy sauces.Oh well mistakes happen, they forgot the soy sauce, but thats okay cause they at least they didnt forget to put a fortune cookie in there! and the attendant was super cool. They deserve five stars and I highly recommend this location, especially if you stop by between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. or between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. Cheers!
Panda Wok Montclair
4468 Holt Blvd A, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
The good: Each meal is freshly made. Disliked:1) It took forever.2. The chicken fried rice tasted more Indian than Chinese.3. Kung Pau Chicken was nothing like any I have ever had anywhere.I admit that perhaps most Chinese food has been Americanized... but that is what I have grew to enjoy. The place was busy... so apparently many love it.Bottom line:My wife and I offered some to our adult son. No one wanted it.We Sadly, ended up throwing midst down the disposal... including even the rice.Sorry to give such a bad review.
1st Dumpling & Noodle
9335 Monte Vista Ave, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
We were greeted and seated right away. Menu was brought out a few minutes later. Felt like a good 10-15 minutes before a waitress came back. Didnt ask us what wed like to drink, so we ordered our drinks and food at the same time.We ordered honey walnut shrimp, char siu bao and wonton noodle soup. The honey walnut shrimp came out first. Maybe 10 minutes later the bao, and probably 10 minutes after that the wonton soup. We also had 2 white rice bowls.Honey walnut shrimp 8/10 good sauce, shrimp wasnt overly crunchy, with whole pieces of walnut on top of green leaf lettuceChar siu bao 7/10, tasty bao, wish there was more meat and sauce in the buns. Server burned my husband with the steam when she opened the lid because she set it right next to his arm when she put it on the tableWonton soup 6/10, tasted like cilantro more than anything else.We werent asked if we wanted refills until we were finished eating. The servers are nice and polite but could follow up with the tables a little more frequently. Atmosphere was great and relaxing music. Probably wont be back though because the food wasnt amazing. Giving 5 stars because it is a soft opening and they seem to be shorthanded.

Upon entering we were greeted with a warm “hello” from their lovely owner! As we were looking through their menu we were encouraged to try some samples which we did not do HOWEVER during our wait for the amazing Mongolian Brisket Fries, the owner brought us some samples to try out! I can attest to their amazing orange chicken, spicy chicken, chow mein, and Mongolian brisket fries. Come support a family business!!?

Tasty Goody Express
4875 Mission Blvd, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
Have visited location several occasions picking up customer ordersIt is not of my liking ?Not sure if Tasty Goody is corporate owned or franchise.Im familiar with the location on Azusa Avenue in West Covina many years ago in the late 1990s when I used to work next door at Nationscredit. That location was very clean and kept up.I have not been to that location since then. However, this location is not.I can tell from the outside that doesnt look clean. While I waited for a customer orderI observed the following:The entire interior looks unkept, the floor looks there is a film in it, the tables and seating area are not organized, there is plastic hanging from the ceiling in front of the food line. This might have put up due to COVID.There are boxes of restaurant supplies on the West wall in plain sight. The place looks messy. To me.Appears the Restroom are roped off? There is a plastic rope in front of the hallway leading to them.I didnt ask either. This is a place I wouldnt order from or walk intoIt has looked this way for quite a while. The employees are not customer oriented. Both employees did not acknowledge customers when they walked in.Not sure if they cannot see though the plastic hanging from the ceiling or dont care. This is my opinion.
AMC DINE-IN Montclair Place 12
2200 N Montclair Plaza Ln, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
TLDR: First visit. I will return. There are many amenities I like and mostly enjoyed my experience, but I have some concerns. This is a brand new multi-theater with all the best audio and video enhanced theaters (not all of them)--something that makes a difference to me--but expect to pay more for the privilege.Theres a lounge area including a nice outdoor balcony where you can eat or gather before/after your movie. This is a dine-in theater so you can get a salad or burger besides popcorn or candy. With the app you can get it delivered to your seat. Keep in mind that this means people walking in during the movie.Theres also a bar (not open for the matinee).I didnt eat/drink so I cant review the food, but the prices are high. What concerns me are1. The seats are narrow and difficult to get in/out because of the small table attached. (see pictures) AMC points to these seats as adjustable but theyre just ok. The Regal theater seats one exit away are more comfortable, adjustable, and wider (but without the high end audio/video)2. It wasnt as clean as it should have been.AMC promotes the disinfecting and cleaning after each showing, but there were pieces of popcorn on a few seats and many of the attached tables were obviously unclean. This was at a 2.30pm showing, not the end of the day which wouldnt matter anyway. I alerted a staff member who said she would send someone--no one came. I took a few clorox wipes they have at the doors and did it myself. At the end of our movie, 4 people did come in to clean but it didnt look like they were as thorough as I hoped.3. Masking isnt mandatory & close seating. Two very talkative guys sat next to us without masks. Someone eating at their seat wont be wearing a mask. And theres no distance between seats. Obviously the seating was planned pre COVID, but really?Reserved seating means you can arrive just before the start, no longer having to wait in a long line for a popular movie, but dont expect to just walk up or find a seat on opening weekends because people have grabbed all the good seats via the app days/weeks in advance.Restrooms are clean and spacious, but this wasnt a busy time. Ill update.
Paradise Buffet
9059 Central Ave, Montclair, CA 91763, United States
I eat here WAY too much....and drive from Walnut/West Covina area to do so. Almost everything they have is good to great with a reasonable price tag, so its no surprise that its almost always busy.If youre new to the area its a full buffet with a full Mongolian BBQ in the middle. I say full buffet cause its not just Asian food but has cheese enchiladas, meatloaf, etc. What gets me back is the Mongolian BBQ, the ribs on weeknights and prime rib on the weekends. They offer various additional seafood options at dinner as well but thats not my thing. I think most Mongolian BBQs are similar but Ive got two tricks to make my dish stand out. For one, I go to the salad bar and add jalapeños, and since most of the watery sauce burns off when cooking, I go and get some of the ponzu sauce for the potstickers and put that on AFTER. That makes this Mongolian BBQ a notch above the rest. I cant remember if I reviewed Paradise Buffet before but my biggest pet peve is that they slide the dishes around on the big fry wheel (whatever the heck its called) and your stuff is cooked right where someone elses was. I hate curry, and if someone put curry in theres before you thatll ruin my dinner. I REALLY wish they kept everyones food in their own spot when cooking like Fire and Ice does down in Anaheim. I was gonna give this review 5 stars, but now that I think about it Im gonna knock it down one for that. They recently changed their weekday pork ribs from an American style sauce to a more Asian style sweet and sour which Im really liking a lot. Its a unique sauce thats way better than sweet and sour ribs youd get at a Chinese restaurant. And usually their ribs are thick and meaty, although my last trip they let me down on the quality a bit. Id say half to 3/4 of the time they get really good ribs that have almost an inch thick amount of meat per rib. Even if the amount of meat is sub par on occasion I never feel like Im losing out.I like their Chinese chicken and Greek salads too. Im happy they have blue cheese dressing for a mixed green salad but it needs to be thicker and with more chunks, or I wish they had separate blue cheese crumbles like at Golden Corral. They also have a really big dessert island. The cinnamon rolls are pretty good when theyre fresh. Some old dude complained once about the soft serve ice cream machine but I like it. I like soft serve thats more icy than creamy if that makes any sense, he was probably the other way around. They also have hand scooped ice-cream so you cant go wrong. All in all this place is great. If youre new to the area I would say its a must see. If they addressed the things I mentioned above and/or added some spicy tuna or crunchy rolls I probably wouldnt eat anywhere else!P. S. A shout out to Veronica, shes a total sweetheart who will chat and offer to grab you dessert and such. Most servers there are pleasant if quiet. She stands out and you better tip her if you get her.
