The variety of food and drinks, the atmosphere, the staff are all the best and has helped my husband and I to get back to a healthy diet and we have made a commitment to eat a healthy meal at your place once a week. I feel so great after eating a big mixed salad instead of junk food.

Amazing! Went for the first time with my hubby and 7 year old. The salad options were so fresh and so many things to choose from! Oh and the potato salad was so good, just like home made 🤤10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I LOVE this place! They have a variety of salad toppings that change daily, so we never get tired of it. Soups (especially the clam chowder) are great. Bread is good. Detox green juice and immunity boost juice (my favorite out of the two) are great with no sugar added. Prices are on the more expensive side compared to other options for lunch. But it is worth it, considering that its an investment towards our health!

This place is so overpriced for such a simple salad. 20 bucks got me 2 thin little slices of tomato and egg. Definitely doesnt look as amazing as their pictures do on their website.

I recommend this place. Very clean little shop. I had the soup and salad bar. The salad was excellent. The breads are good. The chili beans were very good. I dont recommend the clam chowder and I couldnt find a napkin in the entire place. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great place but no consistency with business hours. Tried to visit July 1st Saturday ay 1 pm, door closed even though business hours for Saturday say 11-4 .👎🏼👎🏼(had to specify since owners said false statement ) pathetic passive aggressive responses to peoples bad reviews, so stupid. 😆

Super tasty fresh ingredients. Great value for quality food. Build your own salad bar! Take out value is amazing because the box is huge ! Rotating soups every one we had was great. If you are feeling creative you can even go in fill the takeout box with all the great vegetables and sautée them at home!

Delivery order. ordered it with tuna!! You did not include tuna! I threw it away! BLT was not toasted. Bacon was not crispy at all. Mayo was hardly there. Way over priced. The customer review process does not allow those comments. Your response is not customer apologetic or retainable. I dont need your help choosing items. I come here regularly to get tasty and healthy sandwiches and salads. I tried some of their soups too which are also great. I usually take out, and their online ordering system is convenient and easy, and my orders are always ready on time. Friendly and helpful staff too. Check it out if you havent already, you wont be disappointed.

The Salad Shoppe is a little treasure on S. Main St. in Salinas. No other salad bar in Monterey County even comes close to the variety, quality, and freshness of the ingredients. I recommend this place to anyone!

Ive had the salads from this place a few times and every time its delicious. I love the soups, especially the chicken noodle and the tortilla, all of the soup is usually really good. You get to really pack your salad with fresh ingredients and I like how they switch up the salad ingredients as well. This place is perfect for an affordable healthy meal

Found this place as an option for vegan options. Built my own salad with fresh ingredients and poured a cup of minestrone soup. The owner was kind to let us know that wasnt vegan because it was made with beef broth and offered to refund our money for the soup. Great salad and wonderful customer service.

Fresh food, lots of variety, all-you-can-eat salad bar includes desserts and breads, which is what I chose. Plus you can get soup and other things at additional price. I heard people who finished their lunch saying it was great. This was my 2nd time here. Ill be a regular patron from now on.

Dirty, sticky tables is my number one complaint. The second and third is the dirty floors, and the Pepsi being out. Next, the amount of water that was sitting at the bottom of the Romaine bowl was just plain nasty. Lastly, the selection of items to make a salad with has dwindled over the years, and just is.. Meh.. 5 stars, because I paid, I ate it, and I didnt die of food poisoning. Major bonus.

Their soups are to die for! Navy bean, split pea w ham oh my! Always the best, freshest produce on the salad bar, home made mac salad and potatoe salad, roasted beets and pasta jst to name a few. In a hurry, they have already made salads, just grab & go! Check them out for lunch or a dinner too, clean friendly environment. Families are always welcome.

Its got some problems, but many positives:For $9 you get a very nice sized portion, 32oz is more than enough food for most people. For about $12 you can get soup with it, and bread is included no matter what. Overall, i got more than enough food for a family of 4, with dessert, for less than $35. For eating out, thats hard to beat.Salad bar has all the standard options, several leafy green options available, more than just iceberge and spinach. One problem i ran into is that one bowl had some pieces that were clearly wilting. The bowl wasnt overrun with it, i could see it being easy to miss if youre just filling up the bowl, but as a customer who enjoys that kind of leafy green, i definitely ran into it. Aside from that, the leafy greens were all firm, as they should be, i was easily able to avoid any unwanted pieces.You can also make a nice pasta salad. Now, the spiral pasta looked a bit soft, and i prefer pasta thats a bit more firm, al dente.There were several premade pastas and potatoe salad. Unfortunately they all were made with dressing that was heavy on the vinegar. I like a good vinegar and oil dressing, but, the vinegar was just too heavy for me. Now, i was able to correct it with the addition of other dressings, like Italian. And, because of that, it was pretty easy making my own creations off of what they started, adding in items from the rest of the salad bar.The rest of the items, i didnt see any issues with. Large sneeze guard, too, if youre worried about that. Further, i saw very few items in the wrong location. Given its a salad bar, i definitely expected to see more items spilled on the side, but i saw almost nothing out of place.Finally, seating, as others have expressed, can feel a bit claustrophobic. Many of the tables are very close to each other. But, i had take out, so i didnt really care.So, with limited salad bar options in the area, this place offers a nice selection in a decently kept environment with good portion sizes for a price thats right.

When you are looking for great healthy choice, Salad Shoppe has the best fresh food. You will need to try the soups, my personal favorite is the Italian Wedding soup. The place is very friendly with a local atmosphere.

I would give this place a 5-star as a Salad Shop, but the booths are very small and uncomfortable. It would be nice if they would remove one booth and make the balance of booths bigger and more intimate. Aside from that, its fresh salad bar.

Went here within an hour of closing and so the veggies werent really fresh. They only have two cheeses, blue cheese and cheddar. Soup bar, they only have 3, non-vegetarian soups. (Albondigas, chili beans and another Italian soup)
