The gyoza was over-fried and lacked flavor. The rice in the salmon avocado roll was practically compressed into mochi consistency, the raw salmon was just okay. But this review in unfair. My wife is Japanese and cooks great.
The food is good but the workers are not. the woman is very aggressive .. right now she threw my order in the trash and did not give me my food ... and I could not do anything because they do not return the money. I will never go back. That happen right now.. Monday January 3 at 5 pm..😞
The best Japanese food I have ever eaten in my life, fresh, crispy really succulent, a very good price,exelent service, the girl and the chef are very professional and pleasant, very attentive and friendly, the store looks superrr clean on weekends when we only see them running from one place to another, the attention and cleanliness continues very very very well.
I don’t care how many people tell me otherwise. This food is without a doubt the greatest outside food of all time. No, I am not joking. If someone ever wants to end this humble little food business, they will have to deal with me!
I order a california sushi the rice is all bad looks and taste like they cooked it yesterday really bad, also I order a number 9 shrimp and beef with chow mein the teriyaki sauce not flavor at all is like water and sugar I just to like it a lot.
Terrible. Rubbery chicken. False advertisement on the fried rice. They have a picture of a certain type (with veggies and egg)& give you plain flavor-less rice with peas to pass as fried rice, also on my receipt it said extra steamed rice. First and last time eating here.

Its 8:30. I walk by looking to buy food. The whole staff looks like they are cleaning the grill ready to close. Decided to get burgerim instead.
It seems like they start closing earlier each day. One day they closed at 7 and another day they closed at 6. Weve came multiple times and one time they said they closed at 645 and the next time we came its 540 and they say its already closed.

It’s one of few places that make the California rolls and the shrimp 🍤 tempura rolls to order. They’re really fresh and tasty. The chow men noodles are delicious. The beef 🥩 & shrimp 🦐 teriyaki is perfect. Great place for a Japanese quick, delicious, and healthy full filling meal 🥘

Its all so yummy and its so good. I also love their fried gyozas. Theyre so bomb! I love coming here every time Im at the Montebello mall. Also the staff is very friendly.

2022-06-15 22:23:54So we came to the Montebello Mall and I tried this place and ordered a shrimp crunch roll. I have to say its the worst I ever had. No flavor, not fresh, it taste old, its so gross that I cant finish it. What a waste of $$! Never again!

2022-03-07 21:49:02The food is great, but the workers are not. They close earlier than advertised and they are very rude. If you plan to get food from here make sure to be there two hours before closing time otherwise they will “not have any food”.
