This place has had some impressive upgrades! Me and my husband have been going down the hill when we wanted Korean bbq because the price was cheaper and there were more options, but now we can stay local which we’re really happy about. The meat choices and the sides are great! We loved the ribeye and the dumplings. The deluxe menu is only $4 more. Azia took really great care of us, she was amazing, very kind, quick and was by our table many times to check on us. Everything all around was great, we’re looking forward to the next time already

The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, answered any questions I had, and were always walking around in case anyone needed anything. They added a meat bar in the dining area for the more popular meat items so that you may get more at any time, but you still have to order the majority of the items, but service is fast either way. As far as price, we used to come back when it was 18.99-23.99, but, like everywhere else, prices have increased. I still think its worth it, 105 total with tax and tip (that they, rightfully, add to the bill automatically) for 2 deluxe AYCE, a soft drink, and a water (neither of us drink alcohol) for a date night treat? Gladly... especially for how much we ate 😅

Ive been coming to this restaurant for a long time, but this is the first time I had to pay a mandatory 15% tip. If you are going to force tipping, you should put up a sign in the waiting area instead of surprising people on their receipt that is given after you eat. The menu is set up for you to get up and grab your own uncooked meat buffet style along with certain meat you have to wait for them to bring out...you have two hours to eat.

New management! We havent been here since November of last year. They have new meat options, new sides, a bit more pricier. It looks like theyre making changes and for the better. We really like these changes and will definitely come back. Mandatory 15% tip added to the bill. The service was excellent. This place has definitely improved!!!!

Our first time here. We read all the great reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. The meat was low quality. The service was terrible. We got served our first round, and then we were left unattended for over 45 minutes, just sitting there waiting for someone to come by and help us. When they finally showed up, it was a different server, and she asked us if someone was helping us. Then she said, Who is helping you? 🙄 At this point, we didnt care who helped us as long as they did. They brought us a second round and a new grill cover. The girl turns it up so high it burns our food, and another girl has to come and pour some stuff on the coals. They questioned who turned it up, lol. We didnt touch anything. So disappointing. I can assure you..I will never go back there. $200 down the drain. Dont waste your time. Go somewhere else where customer service is a priority.

It was good…definitely ask for pricing nowhere on the menu does it have prices.. we only had beef brisket(5 orders), spicy shrimp(1 order), pork belly (2orders) it came with a salad, rice (for each person) and some sides…brisket sauce was good but ended up paying $35/per person…not sure if that was regular or deluxe but again my mistake for not asking pricing. But it was overall good, service was friendly, place looked good, restrooms maintained.

The place does not have sushi as the big sign on their roof says. The services was great, but I had no idea they were going to charge us so much per person (my husband ordered for us and failed to notice the price somehow, last time I trust him!), around $50 per person and it wasnt because of some special event or anything. Sure it was all you can it, but considering we did the cooking, I dont see why they had to charge so much. The restaurant is nice but not fancy enough for the price either.My husband says theres cheaper, better places and with more selections in Orange county.What, are they literally flying to Korea and back with their cuts of meats to charge so much? idk. One thing for sure, we are never going back!!!

We went there yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s 4th birthday… 4 adults and 1 kid, yet they charged us 5 kbbq deluxe and additional $8.95 KYCE kbbq Kid-age 5… my daughter wasnt even eating anything from there at all. I liked that place yet last night was a disappointment and they ddnt even refund. I dont understand. 😣

Place is amazing been coming here for 5 years now and never disappointed. Staff is great food is amazing just note that it is all you can eat but don’t be waste full or you will be charged a fee so mind your ordering make sure u can eat everything you order place can use a remodel out side but man this place is clean and well kept inside so if u drive by and think mmm looks off just step in and trust me you will be satisfied

To be completely honest, I drove up to the building and totally “judged the book by its cover” didn’t even give them a chance. They say the first impression is the most important and my first impression of the place was that of a run down and questionable quality of the establishment as a whole. I mean for $40 per person you would at least clean up the appearance. Not interested whatsoever, Hard pass, not gonna chance it.

Price doesn’t correlate with quality. Atmosphere is dingy and subpar. Service is subpar. Prices are very high for the quality you get. Used to be 20$ here but the price has since risen a lot. Save yourself the trouble and go down the pass somewhere. Plenty of better options that make more sense for the price down the hill. This place unfortunately has fallen from grace. Lack of flavor. And not just in the food.

Their sign reads “Korean BQ & Sushi” so after waiting 15 mins to check in and ask for the sushi menu we were told “we dont serve sushi”……we didnt stay because we were looking for sushi so cant rate the food. Definitely our go to place for korean bbq in the high desert. If its not busy Id give it a 5 out of 5 but unfortunately being as popular as it is, the staff get overwhelmed and service starts to fall off. Would recommend go at not so busy a time and youll be pleasantly surprised.

We absolutely love this place. So much some of the staff knows us. Depending on what your criteria of all you can eat kbbq is… this place will have you leaving full. The price isn’t bad for 2 people. Easy 100 including tip. Go hungry so you get your moneys worth. Even the sides are delicious. Plenty of meats to choose from and refills on sides as well. Staff is very pleasant and always bring what we need.

One of the very few decent KBBQ places in the area. Used to rate it 5/5 stars, dropped it to 3/5.Price went up from $18.99 to 21.99 just for the base price and their special is now up to $26.99.Its an Eat All You Can KBBQ but they bring you the meat. There doesnt seam to be a time limit but you might get less visit from your server specially during busy times. Theres also a per order limit of which you can only order 4 servings of meat each time your server visits your table. For example, you can ask for an order of spicy squid, brisket, peppered pork, and pork belly. This is okay if its only you and a guest dining.For a party of 4, you will have to double your order instead since the portions are good only for 2 people. Spicy squid only comes with 2 slices, pork belly is the same. Briskets cook quickly and shrink. If you order 2x spicy squid and 2x pork belly, you will end up waiting because 4 people definitely eat faster than 2.

There are better Korean BBQ place, but youll have to drive to get there. This place will do when I want to stay close and enjoy some bulgogi.Update12/6/21... I am sitting here at my waiting table.. there are 6 empty tables in the restaurant. Its not social distancing, they are using 3 tables in a row right behind me. Its not broken grills, 2 of there tables were being used earlier. Its just poor management.Finally got a table. New menu since last visit, now less choices available and the short ribs (one of the few meats i really like here) are *premium only*. Still a few choices though... wait, NOPE. 2 more meats they are out of.Finished eating and 1 more surprise... it is $30 per person now, not including drinks. Certainly not worth coming back. Strange thing is we used to come eat here and were often the only ones in the restaurant. Now, we wait almost an hour to get a table.

They closed at 9:30 pm on a night I went in at 8:11. So they didnt like that (The elder woman at the front). So naturally I found a hair in my food. She also grabbed my arm in front of my girlfriend as she tried to convince us to leave before we were seated. She kept saying they close at 9 but the site said 9:30. They closed at 9:30.

A few months ago when I came here I thought the prices where too high. But now I honestly think its great. They have updated their menu and prices. They have more food on their menu for adults and kids now. This place is all you can eat with a meat bar also. I really enjoy the food and the environment. Alright first off lets just say the cleanliness of this restaurant is awful. The employees grab the brisket with their bare hands (even after dealing with the cash register). For some reason no one is expected to wash their hands regularly to avoid cross contamination when dealing with raw meat. The prep lady in the back (Kim) also touches everyone’s food with no hand protection. For example, if you want to order French fries for your kid she’ll pick out the ones she feels aren’t good with her fingers. They use the same rag to clean tables to clean up raw meat juice and there is no hand sanitizer bucket being regularly replaced to keep things clean. It is also very cold in the restaurant due to the manager (Peter) not wanting to spend extra money hence why there is so many people complaining of the cold environment while eating. Soju is also overpriced and you’re better off getting it from the liquor store on 11th and bear valley for $4.99. They also leave dishes in the back if they close too late causing roaches to come. The grills need to be replaced but the owner is too cheap or unaware to fix them even tho it takes forever to cook when only one side of the grill is lit. They charge automatic gratuity even when the servers are rude. (They can take off the gratuity so if they tell you they can’t bc of the system they are lying) The lead server (Maritza H.) likes to drink with customers and also likes to give the underage staff member’s alcohol as well.( The manager Peter is aware and simply told her to stop instead of writing her up) If you call to see when last seating is done she likes to tell you at least 30-60 mins (last seating is at 8:30pm btw) before then so she doesn’t have to deal with last minute customer bc they tend to “not tip well”. She also discriminates against people of color bc they “don’t tip well” and they’re “loud and rude”. She’ll also charge extra gratuity on bigger tables if she finds you being “difficult” towards her. The handicap stall in the restroom is always out of service bc they simply won’t fix it. It’s constantly smoky during dinner hours bc instead of changing grills regularly they get grease fires and like to douse the grill that’s on fire with baking soda, which gets all over your table and food. Honestly is just better to avoid this place due to food hazards and safety hazards. Avoid this place!!! TRUST ME I KNOW WHAT GOES ON HERE!!!!

Unique place. Great for date night. Not really for kids but I did see people with small kids. Nothing on menu kid friendly. Mostly meat & lots of it. They have kimchi if u request it. Beer & wine served also. I wore jeans & blazer but most ppl looked like they had just walked away from working in their yard. I guess cause this is high desert & Im from LA, people up here dont care about how they look in public idk. Anyway the restaurant is clean & service is fast. U cook your meat right on your table top grill. They keep bringing all u want. I never wanted a salad so bad! Pork, beef & shrimp. All nicely marinated. U amuse yourself with the actual grilling. It was fun. I love that I didnt have to do any dishes & boy we made a nice mess. The place smells amazing if u like that meat cooking smell. For 2 its under $50 which is comparable to Chilis or Outback or Applebees but way more fun & all that protein will get u full. No carbs, except for a little silver cup of white sticky rice. Try it if u want something different. But u will appreciate veggies after that.

After going to this place many times in the past I can honestly say after today, I will never go back. The service was horrible. I took my adult daughter and adult grandson for dinner tonight. We were seated almost immediately as they had only two other tables being used. However the waitress that was serving us went on a lunch break after bringing us the first round of drinks and appetizers. We got there at 4. The restaurant opened at 3. We couldnt figure out why she already was on a break. Anyway no one covered for her and so we sat there without food for a half hour before we were finally brought some meat to grill. We asked for more beef brisket and were told they were low and we couldnt have more. Then they brought us the check and asked us to leave, without offering us more food. It was incredible. We wont be going back.

It’s disappointing, this place gets worse every time we stop by. I was just there, my family has been coming here for a few years now. From the beginning, the owner was never friendly to us but she was always nice to other customers. The food was good so we never said anything, and at the time the servers were always friendly anyway. Today I tasted their cucumber kimchi and it tasted really bad and I think that is what made me sick. I know I’m not the only one because I saw bile in the other toilets. Why I saw all that was because their toilets were not flushing properly. I told an employee that the food is probably making people sick and that I got sick from the food too, she just said “okay”.Instead of a review that makes me sound like a total Karen, I was going to talk to the owner, but she was too busy yelling at one of her employees and honestly she was never once kind to us in the first place. We do not know what we did to her for her to always be so rude to us. I understand prices and everything are high, but the owner needs to do better at keeping the food fresh, it’s making people sick and it’s such a waste because we are spending money here just to throw it all up. This place has so much potential to be amazing if managed properly. I do not recommend this place anymore to anybody.The owners daughter has always been friendly and kind to us though, so we do like her.

The service was good. Our waitress Stephanie was awesome (she deserves 5 stars)! The meat selection was extremely slim but good and the sides were tiny. The cost is beyond outrageous! I will never go again. You dont get enough for what they charge. Ive had Korean BBQ before and this place only stays in business because it has no competition in high desert. This was my second time here, it will be the last. Both times service was extremely bad. The server ignored our table most of the time on both occasions, it almost seemed purposely. Maybe thats how they get you not to eat so much and still charge $35-$40 per person (no drink). The food isnt bad, but good luck getting your server to bring you the meats, sides, sauces or drinks. We had to repeatedly ask for everything. We had to go as far as asking the owner to help bring in drinks because the server wouldnt, to which she replied that we couldnt ask her for help, redirecting us to the unhelpful server. Owner just as unhelpful. When we finally pointed out to our server her lack of assistance she replied with an attitude. It wasnt until she brought us the check that her attitude changed, obviously expecting our tips not to reflect our frustration.

A couple of friends and I were traveling for over 2 hours and saw their sign for Korean BBQ & SUSHI. We went in for SUSHI as their sign clearly stated. They said they havent changed the sign and they dont serve sushi anymore. The menu is very unclear and unspecific. The host who was also our waitress was extremely UNHELPFUL and couldnt be bothered to properly explain the menu to us. We ended up getting the Regular all you can eat which stated to be $21.99. We ended up paying over $80. Apparently the price was per person not per table. The waitress didnt explain anything to us or answer any of our questions. There was no sign at all to let people know that sushi was off their menu. We left unhappy, unsatisfied, and feeling like we were extremely mislead by their prices. I would not recommend at all.

Since we moved up to the high desert this was the only decent AYCE KKBQ. They charged $18.99, after a few years then went up to $26.99, after Covid they went up to $35.99. Of course cause they can monopolize. So we started going down the hill in Rialto/Ontario/Rancho areas for AYCE KBBQ because the meat quality is just unmatched, and the price in comparison just didn’t make sense as down the hill even GEN only charges $26.99 with way more variety. And with a larger size family, we couldn’t keep paying $300+ to have dinner as a family anymore. But due to the weather my husband and I decide to just come here for a date. We arrived at 8pm on Monday and were told that last call would be at 8:30pm though they close at 9:30pm, I said that was fine as long as the service and food kept coming. It was almost as if she was discouraging us to not eat there. That should’ve been our warning sign, as she sat us down, it took forever we didn’t get our meat till 8:13pm…with only 17 mins left to order another round but she never came back and any requests for sides it was as if she was bothered, and still took long approaching us as she got off from texting on her phone. We had to try and flag another server to try and help us who seemed bothered. Our server returned with the items we asked from the other server and she seemed upset we asked for items from someone else when she kept disappearing…there was literally only four tables, 2 for one server and 2 for the other… The service was terrible, I’m not sure if they’re under new management but I don’t ever remember it being like this. And when it cost over $86 for two people to include our drinks, I expect better service. That wasn’t all…it was so cold in there that you can see the fog from our breaths. When we went up to pay at the cashier I looked at the thermostat and it was 51 degrees when it was already 31 degrees outside…so cold inside that it was very uncomfortable to eat. I don’t know if this was a tactic to get people out of there fast, but I swear we caught a cold from that night. I WILL NEVER COME HERE EVER AGAIN!

The restaurant opens at 5 pm for dinner closes at 9:30pm. There is plenty of free parking. The staff has super great customer service which is hard to find. The staff is professional, friendly and super attentive. 🙂The food is all fresh and it is all you can eat. If you do not eat what you order you will be charge for wasting food. There is no taking left overs. It is about $80 for two people but it is worth it. It is all you can eat and unlimited soft drinks plus great service. So it is a priceless experience.Please remember to tip the great staff.

We came here for a friends birthday dinner and as soon as we were seated at our table the server advised us that they were not serving any sushi and they were out of two of the all you can eat items (one of them was the entree that the birthday girl came here for). When the server bought the first round of uncooked meet one of the chicken entrees was incorrect and we advised her that she had brought spicy chicken instead of the chicken bulgogi and she advised that she would switch it out. She brought back a plate with meat on it that looked like very thin dark meat chicken which we were told was the chicken bulgogi and my fiance and I ate between the two of us. When we ordered the second round with another order of chicken bulgogi it came out looking completely different than the previous dish we were told was chicken. When we asked the server about the difference she told us that the first round dish was actually beef not the chicken we ordered. By this time my fiances stomach was already hurting and she ended up getting sick in the bathroom and unable to eat anymore. When we asked the server to remove her meal from the bill she argued with us stating that we ordered beef bulgogi and that she would see what she could do for us. After we had to explain the whole situation again to another manager who also argued with us we were told that the owner would only authorize $15 being taken off the bill so essentially we had to pay $20 for my fiance to eat nothing as she threw up everything she ate and was unable to eat anything additional. We will not be returning and told the manager this and they still refused to remove her entree from the bill.

This was an amazing experience! It was a bit expensive but definitely with it for anyones birthday or other celebration. You are given four meat choices and free rice, kimchi, spicy cucumbers, butter lettuce, bean sprouts, and this other stuff that is cut into thin squares. Theres a little hibachi grill in the middle of your table and you grill your own food however you want. Its best to take it slow and enjoy the experience. Will not go there again. Very poor menu, and they will not bring you more than four tiny pieces at once. So for dinner for two for example, they will only let you bring four shrimps and couple of other pieces of other food. Portion size is REDICULOUS. I understand not waistling food, but it took for us two hours to eat there. You are spending three times longer to cook than eat because they have policy to only bring you very tiny amount of food, even at the beginning! Dont even bother with pig stomach, you will not be able to chew it. No matter how long you cook it, its a piece of rubber. Well flavored tiny piece of rubber. A shoe bottom. Oh, Side dishes about a size of a teaspoon... They are good, but if you will ask nicely, you will get a whole another teaspoon. After about an hour and a half, that grill will start putting out a ton of smoke to smoke you out of there so youd stop eating and leave, but you can ask them to put new grill top... It will give you another hour and a half to cook 5 oz of food. And to pay almost 30$ per person after drink and tips... Why? Go enjoy a nice meal somewhere else. :) Cant wait for changing of ownership and enjoy real Korean buffet like it was a while ago.

2 because the staff was nice and some of the food was tasty.We sat in a corner table and what looked like the gas line to the table stove was traveling through some PVC pipes behind us and then low and behold, a metal pipe holding up the PVC fell and now we have plastic pipes carrying gas falling right behind us and a stove thats breathing fire between me, my GF, and my son.We turned off our stove, paid and left.Dont sit at the far back corner table and be prepared to have a small menu and toppings size for one.

The service was good, the one thing they could really improve on is having more dishes without sugar for diabetics and honestly the chicken and other high risk dishes should be cooked in the back because obviously there is a risk of poisoning if the people do not know how to cook chicken. A little expensive and definitely not a place for a quick lunch break but a great place for a family dinner. The beef brisket is incredible and the rest of everything else was higher quality than you would get at a buffet.

The reason this restaurant is not getting a 1 star is because I didnt actually get to taste the food. The reason I am doing a review is to inform anyone that plans to go with their family. There are 2 (all you can eat) menus. The blue menu, which is cheaper, cost $18.99 for adults, $8.99 child 6-8 $5.99 child 5 & under. Ther red menu which only has two additional items (galbi and octopus) cost $22.99 for adults, $11.99 for child 6-8 $7.99 child 5 & under. So I take my family here to have early dinner and I learn that my 9 yr old son is an adult, my 10 yr old daughter is an adult and my girls 11 yr old son is also an adult. By the way, the waiter asked each child their age. Theres also her younger son 6 that is being charged for a child portion. This place is not family friendly with prices like that! I go to Gen Korean BBQ in Rancho and it is 100% nicer than this place! Much more classier. Children are $10 and they never bothered to even ask my childs age.

Best and only Korean BBQ for 25 miles (Theres one on Summit Valley Rd. that I havent tried out). I go here every couple months with my friends.
