My wife and I stopped in for dinner and I cannot express how great the service and food was. We chose the kbbq for dinner. Adam was our server and he was fantastic. Everything we ordered from the Korean short ribs to bbq chicken was on POINT! The pot stickers were perfectly cooked. I didn’t even have to ask for the sesame oil and salt because everything we needed was already laid out on the table. If you’re local to Stockton or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. You absolutely, positively and unequivocally will not be disappointed!

The last time my husband we were here, we were taken aback by their automatic gratuity that was added to our bill. Our server there had barely served us 3 times and neglected our empty water cups and side dishes. We decided not to return even after being long time lovers of this establishment. Fast forward, after being disappointed in the quality of the newly opened restaurant Yogi, my husband we decided to visit Seoul Soondubu again.This time, we were met with amazing service and kindness from all staff and both the owners. We took our 5 month old son with us and all the staff made sure to make their way to say hello. 3 staff managed the tables but even then, they all took their turn in checking in and making sure our needs were met. The selection of food and appetizers (the spicy tofu soup and takoyaki being my favorites) are delicious as always.My husband we left 110% satisfied and both agreed we would happily pay the more expensive price here for quality food and service than at Yogi Kbbq. We agreed that although we have always had a great experience here in the years that we’ve visited, our one bad experience was probably due to a new staff who I didn’t see there this time.

Its been a bit since we were last here.We had for appetizersthe Seafood Korean Pancake and the Pot Stickers. Excellent.We both had the Seafood Tofu Soup on this cold, rainy and windy day. My wifes was not spicy but added her own tolerance level of heat. Mine was Medium spicy but I also added some heat to it. Very good as always.On the negative there was the an automatic 18% tip added. We always tip well but I dont l like being forced to. Maybe it was posted somewhere but I wasnt really looking for it.The second was that there was no progressive clearing of empty dishes which left the table cluttered. Other than that service was okay.

I went to this restaurant on the very first day it opened. It was a soft opening not a grand opening. Very clean, there were too many other gas, so the service was very fast. Food was delicious. They have a self served all you can eat salad bar, different types of rice and wings.You get to order three different choices of proteins every 20 minutes. But you can get up and serve yourself from the salad bar, rice, or wings as much as you want.I went for dinner, 3 adults and a 3 year old. The 3 year old ate for free. Total cost was about $115. Not including drinks because we only ordered waters.

This place was surprisingly good. I would say similar quality to the L.A. version of Bud Namu rated by Buzzfeed as good foods and fall in the medium price. This place in Stockton was comparable in quality. My family of four cost us 97.00 for lunch all u can eat for an 1.5 hr. limit. After an hour, we could do no more with our bellies maxed out. Service was thoughtful and attentive. Good service overall. Tip... Try not to sit in the middle of the grill, it gets very warm from the grill, not to mention the hot splashes from the grilling. I would recommend it if your around in the area. We actually drove from Modesto to try it. We just like to try foodies all over where our tummies take usAs always, happy hunting.

Tried the grill table for dinner. Its an all-you-can-eat option for one price. Really enjoyed the experience of cooking my food. You get your choice of 3 meats and 3 appetizers at a time. The kimchee sides were delicious too. The staff was friendly and attentive at the beginning, but as time progressed, our servers did not come over as often and it seemed as though their friendly attitude waned. We ordered potstickers that never came. These are the reasons why I give the staff an average rating of 3. I give the food 5 stars! Photos show beef kalbi ribs, beef bulgogi, pork belly, spicy chicken, shrimp, and pork jowl, along with the kimchee and pickled veggie sides.

Great server she was super nice and helped alot with recommendations. I had the all you can eat korean bbq. The brisket was insanely high quality with all its insane marbling. It was mg favorite meat option. My secobd favorite meat was the beef rib? Forgot what it was called exactly. If I didnt live in LA but in this place instead the this would definitely be my go to place with frineds. Also their ice cream is very food quality, i was Genuinely surprised.

Opted for spicy beef tofu soup and spicy rice cake with added noodles. Wasn’t a fan of this shredded style beef. The texture just doesn’t work very well. The flavor is good, but something felt a little lacking.I love tteok-bokki. I devoured it too fast and didn’t take a picture. Sorry! I might have let it sit too long because a lot of the soup was soaked up by the noodles. This one is a thicker one so if you’re looking for more of the soupier ones, this isn’t it, but still good.The side dishes were just ok. When going to a Korean bbq restaurant, most of the time (in socal at least) all the Korean bbq restaurants have amazing, super fresh meat so what sets them apart? The time and quality they put into their free side dishes. If somewhere is willing to care that much and put that much effort into a free side dish, then doesn’t that really point out the passion?

Went for Mothers Day and they were busy. Owner was apologetic for the wait, but it was completely unnecessary. If youre going out on Mothers Day, expect things to be busy. Our server was quick, attentive, and friendly. The food was good! Short rib and spicy pork dishes were delicious, as was the seafood pancake.Its now on our list of places to visit when going out with family.

The wait at 6pm was short (as in we were lucky to walk in to an open table for two on a Monday night). Clean, open space inside and we were quickly attended to for beverages. We chose the beef potstickers for an appetizer and each the clay pot bibimbap combo. The clay pot is a beef bulgogi topped with a fried egg (you can choose not to) combo with plenty of veggies and white rice that sizzles and continues to crisp in the pot. Plenty of small sides to accompany it when you get the combo - including a rich tofu soup! The beef potstickers were crispy and hot with a tasty dipping sauce. Service was attentive and they were happy to accommodate putting the spicy sauce on the side for my friend who didnt want too much added to her order. The combo is about $22 each and we each had soft drinks $3-4 and the potstickers were $10. Plus tax and service charge we each came in a little under $40. Very full bellies and very well worth the

My sister went to pick this up for me because Im sick and WOW! It tastes amazing. Spiciness is always questionable at places but she asked for extra spicy and its exactly that. It is seasoned well and has just the right amount of everything. Im not just saying that because Im sick, I still have my taste buds and appetite. I will definitely hit this place up when I get better!

We dined in at the bbq side two days ago, and let me tell you, the food was delicious, the great atmosphere was family-friendly, and there was excellent customer service. The fish cakes were my kids favorite side dish there. Thanks for having us there and for putting your love into the food you make. As customers we appreciate the cooks and their hard work. I love their food the tofu soup was very tasty the spice was just right. Their appetizers were very tasty just havent gotten to try out the japchae but I will when I go eat next time. I dined with a couple of friends at all-you-can-eat yesterday and we had a great time there the services was great they welcomed us in and explained tips which come automatically in the bills which were 18% it was worth it we enjoyed our dinner and would recommend to everyone friends and families.

Ordered seafood pancake (12.95) and banchan ($6.50). Both awesome!! They put octopus in the seafood pancake and fry it just right... Delicious with kimchi. The banchan had japchae noodles and broccoli which makes me very happy. Friendly and fast service. Really enjoyed the lunch.

Delicious Korean food. I loved the various types of kimchee that came with the meal. This place is so good, but it is kind of hidden away on the Miracle mile. The food was affordable because of the quality and quantity. I got pictures before we devoured our meal! They also give complementary tea which is always a huge plus. This place was expensive for absolutely no reason. Wasn’t even fancy if you ask me. The part that shocked me the most was that the waiters added a tip on the bill for themselves. Hello? Not to mention it was a $30 tip. The waiters also kept bugging us & trying to get us to order more food. No thanks. One of the waiters also lied to us about the price. I was shocked to my core. Went to try out an AYCE KBBQ in Stockton since OZ was a bit a of a drive.... but tbh, shouldve just went to OZ. The old man in the front is extremely rude. Never seen a person ever point the way he does. He points at you like a Prison Guard, and he is extremely quick to get you to either stay or leave. The staff is nice but as we ate, they were watching us and rushing us with every order. Always rushing all the time. They even added a tip for you which I dont believe should ever be cool.Will not ever come back, will just go to OZ or wait for Yogi on Ben Holt to open up.

We were greeted with,just so you know, our prices are much higher than they are posted on the menu outside, here are the real menu prices. The buffet is $38 and there is a 20 minute wait to be seated if you are ordering off of the menu.. Then when we said that 2 of us wanted the buffet and I would be ordering off the menu (due too dietary restrictions) we are told that we cant do that because buffet seating is in another areabecause otherwise we cant watch you to make sure youre not eating off of their buffet. At this point its more than just bad etiquette/poor hospitality training, Im actually offended.

I love this place and definitely intend to eat here again. They serve the traditional variety of side dishes, which is sadly becoming rare among this type of restaurant. I had their 90-minute all you can eat dinner, and all of the ingredients and dishes presented were of high quality, and were served at the optimal temperature. Their Takoyaki was especially good: It was well-made and served piping hot, with a delightful sauce. I heard from the owner that they will be renovating soon to increase the number of tables, and I will definitely be coming back to check things out.

This place is alright if you want kbbq. Theres only 3 items on the all you can eat menu that I order the majority of the time. The rest of it is bland or very fatty... or both. The servers are fairly quick to refill your grill orders but you have to ask for more soda. Most of the time you just need to ask someone as they pass by the table.Good place to eat similar to oz in Sacramento.

I don’t mind paying for good food, but this place wasn’t worth even half of what we paid. Our bill came out to $77 for 2 of us and it was low key gross. 1 star for the service. Overpriced, overhyped, with mediocre food at best. No idea how it has almost 5 stars on google and Yelp. $30 a person for lunch Korean bbq with AUTOMATIC ADDED GRATUITY- VERY few choices of meat and appetizers that were not even good. If you’ve ever been to OZ Korean BBQ in Elk Grove or Sac, it’s a million times better. I’d rather pay less and drive an hour to Oz, then ever go to this place again. I don’t recommend it.

The drinks in the bar were watered down - lame.I have been there a few times for dinner and once for lunch. The food is good. I did find it strange that my cold soup had ice in it...normally the broth is just cold. I liked that fact they have a karaoke bar in the back. I didnt like the fact when we asked the young bartenders friends to move (so we could see the karaoke screen), he told us to move? We were baffled and confused, since we were there first. After a few songs, we did move - moved towards the exit door and we left. Well come back for the food, but not the karaoke bar.

My wife had the Bibimbop, and I had the chicken plate. Both were fantastic. Both were decent servings in addition to the smaller dishes. We still had leftovers at the end and we left there spending a well earned $35 plus tip. Not bad at all. Will definitely go again if were in the area.

I love coming here! The staff and the owners are friendly. The setting is great. The staff does not rush you out the door, so my friends and family tend to stay a bit longer. The restaurant is also clean, and they just renovated the back to where customers can cook the food themselves, if they prefer.

The place is normal. The service is very bad, and if they bring you the burned food then they tell you that the dish is fine. Look, Im half Korean and all my life I ate Korean food. Do not eat their lies. Even if they are not Koreans, and they bring you a plate where the whole base is charred, you realize it. Thats what they wanted me to eat. When I refused, then the owner of the store came saying that next time she does not ask for that dish. NO THANKS. I do not recommend the restaurant, there are better places to eat food that is really Korean. If I could I would give them 0 stars, but 1 star is the minimum.

It was busy and a staff person said I could use the bathroom off of the banquet room. I could not find the light and the door locked and I couldnt get it to unlock or get out of the bathroom. Seoul Soondubu is my favorite Korean BBQ! They recently opened up a back room where you can sit down and they have barbecues at the tables! Ive genuinely always wanted to go to a barbecue or you could cook everything on your own table. Me and my friend and his mom went there last night and had a great dinner for a great price! Afterwards we even got to have some ice cream. We cooked up some spicy pork, pork belly, and 1 kind of beef... I forgot the name but its delicious. I think if youre a near Miracle Mile or just in stock and in general you should definitely take a chance to have dinner here or just any meal! Stuff is really friendly and very considerate. A client and I decided to try something different for lunch, and we really enjoyed Seoul Soon Dubu. We ordered lunch specials rather than the Korean BBQ. Service was excellent and very friendly. Now that I know about this place I will definitely return. I seriously love this place. I wandered in on the first day they opened and every time I’m back in Stockton I go here. The soon tofu (spicy chili garlic soup) is what they do best, and their kimchi selection is fantastic. Excellent all-u-can-eat Korean BBQ! Meat choices and quality is 5 Star. Service is good as well and the owners are friendly and welcoming. I used to go to Oz in Elk Grove but no need to now. I would go to Oz once a month or more for the last 2 years. The meat here is of higher quality. The only gripe I have is that the ribs are only available on at the higher price - to me, the ribs should be on the lower price as well. So if you want ribs you gotta pay $30. To me, it’s worth it!

The staff were friendly & was willing to tell you what the different dishes were. We ordered sea food pancake to share & was not disappointed. The portion was enough for 3 people to share as appetizer. I ordered bibimbap & was delicious. My friend ordered beef rib bulgogi & she was satisfied with it. Good Korean food, nothing spectacular. The stone pot bibimbop was good, as was the pork bulgogi. They do not allow you to put your own red paste on the bibimbop, which is weird. They do it for you. Nice choice of lunch specials. They did refill the kimchi dishes without being asked, which was a nice touch. Friendly staff, would come again.

The kim chi assortment served with each meal is worth a visit alone (my favorite are the cucumber and fish cake) and the spicy tofu soups as well as spicy chicken/pork are amazing! A great place to have lunch or take your special someone for dinner in a nice, comfortable environment. Kpop is usually on the radio and the beautiful korean artwork on the walls really give this place a cool vibe, not to mention the owner likes to pop in occasionally and interact with customers, giving great suggestions and making you feel like a guest in someones home rather than just any old restaraunt.
