This place is close to my office, so its been a frequent lunch choice for us. We ordered two different beef-oriented lunch specials, and both of our meals had at least one large piece of beef that was still partially raw and had clearly not been cooked all the way. It makes me pretty nervous about the potential contamination to the rest of the food. Overall the customer service is always high quality, and the food is good, but not worth potentially getting sick over.

Dont get the sweet and sour pork. The sauce is very red, but flavorless. Chow mein is ok. Not bad, but not the best either. The broccoli beef though is amazing. Super delicious.Overall, there is a good amount of food for the price.

Small strip mall restaurant. Order at the counter and have your food in a few minutes. The sweet and sour pork was a little over done, the fried rice and noodles were good. Prices are reasonable.

Solid Chinese food in Los Gatos. I have been going here for years. Mom and pop shop with delicious food. The place is small, but they definitely are really good at what they make. I usually go for the chicken chow mein and the spring rolls, they have proven to be so good over the years. I use their reward program with my phone number when I check out and get free spring rolls all the time. Oh and they are open for New Years :)

Love the ginger beef at this small like shop. The dinner special comes with Chinese chicken salad, egg roll and rice. A lot of good food for a great price.The service is really friendly and REALLY FAST. They told me it would be 5 minutes and it came out that fast!There are a few tables to eat at but is better for take out instead.

We really like this place. Food is always good, lemon chicken is my favorite - served in a way that shows the meal is an entire breast portion. (As opposed to other places where I get lumps of something, usually more deep fried breading than meat.) BBQ pork fried rice is a nice twist on the old classic - love that too. The fact that these guys deliver without charging an additional fee just makes it easy - thanks! (Oh, and the missing star has to do with the ambiance. Need to do something to warm the place up a bit. Strip mall aside, would be great to feel like it wasnt a fast food place.)

Sweet and Sour pork felt like it was boiled instead of fried, which maybe is a different flavor profile, but I didnt enjoy it. It also came with bell peppers and carrots that were under cooked and felt like an afterthought. The rice was simply steamed with vegetables added in.

Being a asian restaurant in los gatos its pretty good for $40 I got fresh chow mein not greasy and the orange chicken was big pieces not overly sweet better than panda becaise its American and the walnut shrimp was also big shrimp and not overly sweet way better than little cheff in cambell

Run off the mill. Service was okay. It wasnt busy. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was okay but fish had an aftertaste typical of fish harvested from a farm. Combination chow mein had lots noodles and very little of the combination chicken, beef and shrimp that we were told would be in there. Found exactly 2 small shrimp.

I remember not liking this place but I couldnt remember why. I figured Id try them again since they are very convenient for me. Food was terrible. I usually dont write reviews but this was bad enough it would be irresponsible for me to stay silent. The sweet and sour chicken was extremely bland. I dont know why there are any positive reviews for this place. Id recommend staying away.

The Food is very horrible and expensive, the rice is just steam rice, doesnt have at least any flavor, the sour and sweet pork is boiled pork without salt, and a dough around it . Please save your money.I am sooo disappointed . I dont know why people give them 5 stars .

Just ordered food from them in the last hour. I ordered Won Ton Soup, broth and Won Tons only. I also ordered Mongolian Beef, mild, no peppers. And I ordered Shrimp Chow Mein. What did I get?........ Won Ton Soup with vegetables in the broth, and the Mongolian Beef was spicy. The Chow Mein was fine, amazing enough.The mistake was not done by the cooks. I seen the order slip after I got home. The person at the counter put the simple straight forward order in wrong.The person at the front counter has very poor customer service skills. She’s a young woman, late teens to very early 20s. Long brunette straight hair, wearing round rimmed glasses. She was wearing a black shirt with the words, ’Gainesville Speedway’, on the shirt. When I walked in she was on her cellphone playing. She didn’t even acknowledge me until I was standing in front of her at the counter, and barely acknowledged me when she did. I gave her my order, and went and sat down to wait. She immediately went right back to playing on her cellphone. When the order was available, she gave it to me, again barely acknowledging me, and went right back to her cellphone.The food there is good, but with this young woman at the front counter, the front counter service sucks!!!!

Hello, I have been giving Shangi La decent reviews until now. I bit into my pot sticker and noticed a stringy thing poking out! It was a hair. It had a split end like my daughters pet rat of old and the other has a clear and present folicol. A Rat hair I am sure. I am calling the health department in the morning to report this problem. I saved the hair and the pot sticker.I will never ever eat at that place again. I have had some not so good experiences there, but I tried to give them a chance. The cooks look sickly too. I have a picture of the hair if you would like to see it.Steve

Just left this place. I have gone here for years. I will never return. The plate I ordered was disgusting and tasteless. Cold and absent the sauce normally provided with it.While waiting to be served, I started looking around... the floors are filthy as are many of the tables.Left my dinner in the garbage container...

The food is very good and expensive. A young girl behind the counter shows no confidence in what she is doing and not much help. The food is too good to have someone behind the counter treat the business like fast food takeout. I gave it a 4 just for the food.

The place to go for good Sino fare...today however the 40+ chinese woman at register said nothing but the price and NOT ANOTHER WORD. I speak Chinese and she didnt respond to anything I said at all ...American customer service was not anything close to what she exhibited

Just awful. I ordered pork fried rice for the second time and it was pork, peas and white rice. I even called before, specifically to make sure this didnt happen. Didnt listen, didnt care. Called after, didnt care either. NEVER AGAIN.
