2023-05-30 00:54:24Top not: all MEATs are super FRESH and high quality. Second: services are super friendly and great. They change your bbq plates all the time . Third: prices are super reasonable.Everything is very clear . You have payment options: cash and card. They have paper in front door noticing clients that if you pay card, pay extra 4%.I am from Southern CA. I try Gen and lot of Korean places. This place is the best in Fresno. Their meats are much fresher than Gen. Octopus in Gen are very salty and at this place are so fresh !!!!!’

2023-08-12 01:09:25Great all you can eat Korean BBQ. Service is attentive and the meats are delicious. The only downside is the small portions of potato salad, glass noodles, and other sides. It requires one to constantly order them. Besides that, the place is well worth it.

2023-11-24 14:23:57We have been coming to Shila since day one. It has gone downhill since the pandemic. I hate the Styrofoam containers and that they charge for water. The meat is still good but you have to ask for the Korean pancake and there is no veggies. They need to do something to bring this place back to life, maybe add hot pot. Its just not as nice as it was. They do have pretty good service.

2023-09-22 02:37:19It is important for restaurant owners to provide a welcoming and accommodating environment for their customers. I found the owners behavior to be rude and inflexible. I DO NOT recommend the establishment to others. I tried to join my family who were already present and eating, however, was not allowed unless I paid the thirty something dollar cost for the meal (which I did, but did not eat). The server was nice, however, neither me or my family will be returning. The grills were also not the cleanest and the meat was questionable looking.

2022-02-14 05:25:24Its an okay place where you have to cook your own food. this place is a SOLID 3 out of 5. Nothing wrong with that rating at all. The experience was good. The waitresses were helpful, nice and welcoming. The employees are definitely a 5 out of 5. Food was okay. When doing buffet style, you can only pick 3 meats. They will replace the grill after your rounds of meat. The marinated meat is good but bbq it in any way, it still doesnt give you that memorable taste. The pork belly slices were not thick but thin enough to have it cooked fairly quick. The marinated beef was tasty but the sauce just didnt have the kick. The marinated chicken was good but not astonishing. The brisket was probably the best meat. The sides were decent but forgettable. The seafood was okay. Its not close to the authentically fresh seafood but its okay for what it is. If youre expecting fresh-out-of-the-water-justgotthesquidthismorning, youve come to the wrong BBQ. Overall, the food experience was just okay. Its interesting that you can bbq your own food but having been to several Korean BBQ spots, this one is okay. If this is the only Korean Barbecue in the area, its not too bad but dont expect high-end quality meats.

2023-10-24 13:52:12This is the most disappointing Korean BBQ Ive ever experienced. They don’t provide tap water, instead they charge $1 for providing Costco’s bottled water. Their side dishes are not fresh at all, seem like cheap buys from 99 Ranch or somewhere. The meat quality is not good that HMart has better quality. And to top it off, they slap on a $4 fee for credit card payments. If you use cash instead, they tell you they don’t have changes and expect you to pay the exact amount, which shows how desperately they want that $4 extra charge.

2023-10-18 05:47:28This was our first time here. We had a table of 6 with 2 kids. Its a little pricy $33 per adult and $14 per child. The kids didnt eat very much. They didnt explain the process very much just gave us uncooked meat to start with, you pick 3 proteins each time. The sides were brought to us cold. All the sides are cold and they didnt tell us what some of them were.I didnt like the uncooked shrimp. Theyre not deveined. Luckily our youngest had been here before so he knew the process. I will add that the spicy bulgogi was very delicious. Also the steak. This was a one time experience for us.

2023-04-21 18:34:51My first experience with Korean BBQ. We had short ribs and Bulgogi beef, both tasty and marinated well, no need for extra sauces or salt and pepper. Once you are seated you are checked on often, they changed the grill grate a few times. Recommend trying with more people so we could order a variety of meats, the two we ordered were very filling. The rice is good.

2023-10-28 06:39:29This is my favorite restaurant! After bariatric surgery, I’d thought I’d never be able to eat here again but the manager Nicole worked with me which meant SO much!! It left a lasting impression on me because I was so worried. The food is delicious and the server is always attentive without being annoying. The service is awesome and the food never disappoints.Key things to note: YOU cook the meat using the hot plate in front of you. You will choose from an assortment of meats and can only choose 3 at a time but the server will return for you to order more. Only order what you can realistically eat or you will be charged. Keep in mind that you can take the side to-go (rice, kimchi, etc) but not the meat so be mindful of what you order. I recommend the spicy LA marinated short rib, spicy bbq chicken (pretty spicy), and the jumbo shrimp. Tip: I cover the shrimp in the short rib sauce before cooking it because it doesn’t come with any sauce or seasoning.
