Shinobu Shabu in Westminster

I drive 45 minutes to an hour to come here, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is incredible and I always have the best experience here! This is the best Shabu place around! Andrew is seriously the most incredible server ever! I always hope he’s working when I come by, I really recommend checking it out :)

Just had a visit to this restaurant today. We were seated immediately. It was early dinner around 5 pm. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The waiter explained the menu and items. I warned him of my food allergies and he pointed out which ones I should avoid. I really appreciate the time he made to explain things. I ordered the Kombu seaweed broth and short rib and my cousin chose prime rib. It usually comes with a plate of veggies and a bowl of rice. I flavored my broth with some garlic and green onions. Great service and wonderful food. The quality of the meat was good, we had the prime and choice beef. And both selections were great. My husband got the spicy miso broth and said it probably the best he had. That says a lot since we tried 99% of shabu establishments in the orange county area.

It was our first time there and we loved it. The waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain everything. You cook your own food in a broth of your choosing. Since it was our first time at a restaurant like this I would compare it to fondue with a broth. Well be back.

Amazing service! The flavors are great, and the food overall is good! They even give ice cream at the end, and its also all you can eat! They give you good portions, and if you choose all you can eat, then you get 3 rounds to order, but I believe they might have a time limit of 90 minutes.

Outstanding shabu - best hot pot Ive had outside of Honolulu. My only complaint was I didnt know the ramen noodles that came in a bowl were not cooked already 🍜

CAB brisket is relatively cheap and filling. Unlimited veggies sauces is great and the sauces are pretty tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. The service is great, it was very clean and wasnt too crowded. definitely worth a shot if youve tried a lot of the other shabu places and are looking to try something new.
