We were on our way to a different sushi place and it turned out to be closed when their hours on Google showed to be open. Looked up closest nearby sushi place and landed on this location. For a Monday there was quite a party vibe here, not something expected or something we were looking for but was definitely a mood lifting atmosphere! The sushi was very delicious and we enjoyed it very much! Turned out to be a delightful end of our night eventually after being disappointed with the place we were initially trying to try! The only negatives about this place is the chairs are wooden too hard to sit in to relax and a/c and or fans were blowing too cold for a night that was already cold out. Besides that service was amazing, food incredible, almost worth the price paid.Double salmon roll was my favorite! (Bottom left in photo)Silver dragon roll was amazing as well. March 2, 2033. I went to the Carmichael DMV to get my drivers license renewed and decided to treat myself to lunch. I have been here before with a group of people for dinner and we really enjoyed it.Today I had the bento box lunch it was quite a lot of food at a very reasonable price. I was greeted immediately upon entering by the sushi chef and the staff.Excellent food and friendly service!

Im not a huge sushi fan, but from what I have had the few times ive visited everything I tried was great. Really enjoy the bento box with either their teriyaki chicken or beef. The chicken katsu was also excellent I recall.

Silver Sake is amazing. The chef is inspired, the fish is fresh and delicious, and the restaurant is nice, but unpretentious.Went in on a weekday afternoon, and it was nice being able to let the chef do his own thing (I think its listed as Osumake, though Im probably butchering the spelling).Highly recommended, excellent sushi with balanced flavors, great chef and attentive staff.

I thought the food was amazing, we order a Sacramento roll, lava bites, potstickers and 2 miso soups it all was excellent quality, however my 1 complaint is a waitress was making out with some one at the other table display a lot of affection I personally do not care but from a professional stand point i believe it is unexpecxeable, thanks you guys.

Ive been here twice for lunch so far. I get the $8 box for lunch, drinks extra. Very filling; soup, salad, rice, and two items. Example is California roll - 4 pieces, and sesame chicken (perhaps an ounce and a half?).

Every time I go here I have no issues. The fire is bomb and the prices arent that bad either. I would have to say the service here wasnt what I expected this time around. We all didnt get our food together. It would have been nice to eat with my family at the same time. My only issue.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. They have never failed to disappoint me with the quality of their food and rarely is their customer service lacking. I have frequented this restaurant for about 6 years and although Ive tried several sushi places, this is always my go-to spot. Any of the raw fish is succulent and fresh and the sushi is packed with a good amount of ingredients blended exquisitely with a nice balance of rice. Their sushi sauces are delicious. The chefs are accommodating to your personal taste buds and the servers are usually attentive and tend to roam around if you need them. Besides the sushi, I absolutely love the seared tuna and sashimi as well as the unagi don whereas my son enjoys the katsu don which provides a good amount of meat, eggs, and rice (enough for leftovers for a toddler). Im not as big of a fan of their cooked fish (ex. Salmon) and sometimes their tempura shrimp tastes a little greasy to me, but other than that, everything is wonderful. The only concern that some customers may have is that it is a cozy and friendly restaurant so there is bound to be plenty of boisterous laughter and conversation between the customers and chefs so if you dislike that, I would still recommend ordering takeout.

First time dining in here at Silver Sake Sushi. The service is great and lively. Food service was quick and they keep following up with you if you need anything else. We tried their Dinner Bento with the Pork Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki as well as their Integra Sushi Roll. Wed recommend both dishes and will probably come back to try some of their other rolls.

Excellent customer service! We were greeted with warm welcome as soon as we got in. We were also given a free sake shot. Customers have close relationships with the workers so the aura is so warm. The food is great and yunmy but a little expensive for me. I got one of the special rolls for $20 and it didnt even fill me up. Overall good experience.

Went in for lunch with my 4 year old son. There were young servers possibly in their teenage years. Service was mediocre and other teenagers arrived shortly after us. They were underage drinking which is not cool, and they treated the establishment like a club, the sushi chef and servers indulged in this activity, blatantly drinking out of paper cups and not showing courtesy to patrons eating with their families. Wont be returning here. Place should be investigated. I dont usually leave bad reviews but this place needs to be and act more professional, I had my 4 year old with me, not a good way to leave a good impression. Disappointed.

I absolutely love this place. Every time Ive driven by, it appears crowded. Finally, we dropped in and what a welcome! We immediately felt like regulars and the food was superb. I really wish I could afford to eat here more often. Youll get the best service at the bar, and its a really great casual atmosphere. Theres lots of different sushi rolls to try, as well as a bunch of other choices. They even brew their own sake, which is excellent as well. Some people have complained about the wait, but thats any restaurant you go to, and some food takes longer to prepare since its all served fresh and made to order. I highly recommend going there.

Worst pick up experience I ever had! Placed an online order which turned out to be $100 in food. Went to pick up and the order was wrong. Asked of course to correct our order and have our missing items replaced and was treated which such horrible customer service by their cashier guy. He kept insisting our order was correct, was speaking insults about us under his breath, made us feel like we were ruining his evening. It doesnt end there. We watched him taking shots behind the scenes while our order boxes laid sprawled out on the cashier desk in no bag while a line of delivery drivers were lined up waiting. Ordered a udon noodle with seafood and chicken which ended up as pork with broth. It was horrible and NOT what we ordered. Food was cold when we finally got things situated and they really didnt seem to care about our business. Never have I been more humiliated by an establishment or more upset by service I recieved. Im sure its not the fault of the owners andIm sure this place is great but they really need to be more select on who they have working for them and what they allow them to do during their shifts.

A Carmichael favorite, and a fun place to visit. Chances are it will be filled with regulars any given day of the week. The employees are fun and relaxed and feels more like a friends house than a restuarant. They have your traditional sushi creations, as well as some very unique options and menu items that are named after the customers that created them. Everything about Silver Sake exudes friendship, fun, and a welcoming environment on top of their great food. Everything you would want from a local small business.

The Sushi is GREAT! Once youre FINALLY served. It seems like the employees care MORE about their Regular Customers then those that patronize on occasion. The last two times my daughter and I went there, we waited MORE then 45 minutes just to be served. The first time, we were offered a $10 dollar gift card for the wait. So, we decided to use it and eat there again. And once AGAIN, the wait was 45 minutes (possibly longer) But, we patiently waited for our food. It took LONGER to serve us then to bring the check. The waiters and the cashier pretend to be friendly but they are all rude. I ordered some food online and and it took them more than 4 hours to prepare it. When i went to the restaurant to pick up the food, they told me it is only going to take them 10 minutes to finish the order but they made me wait 70 minutes in my car for the food. When the young cashier handed me the food, she blamed me by saying that it was my fault for coming to the restaurant early and and that it wasnt the restaurants fault . I will never order from them again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is great, and the service is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly, calling you out by name when you walk in the door, and the atmosphere is festive. Im a driver for Uber Eats and I went to pick up an order there Thu and there was another Uber Eats driver there who had been waiting there for an hour! Then shortly after I arrived, the manager (young woman, curly brown hair and nose ring) told us we may as well just cancel out our orders because it was going to take forever for them to be ready. I politely asked her if it was always going to be this way with delivery orders and she angrily snapped back that yes, it was, and if we didnt like that, to not ever pick up delivery orders from them. So I had to cancel my order and this was a big inconvenience to me as I didnt get the fare and my customer (who had already paid). Ive picked up a couple orders from them in the past and theyve always been a bit unorganized and annoyed in handling them, but now theyre truly awful! If Silver Sake cant manage doing food delivery orders and dislikes it so much, then they shouldnt be offering that service!

I enjoy sitting at the sushi bar for some sake to talk to the cheerful, down to earth, hosts June and John (other staff members are friendly as well but I dont recall their names). Pretty bummed about my experience here tonight. This was my second time in. The first time was getting sushi to go about 3 weeks ago. And I would have given it 5 stars back then. However, when sitting in tonight, my opinion changed. I give 3 stars for tonight based only on the food. But a negative 2 stars on the service.On the menu everything that is fried is listed as tempura. However, when I ordered the lava roll, it was not listed as tempura [or deep fried.] I got the lava roll last time I was in, and got home and ate it with such delight. It was not fried or in tempura batter. I went there tonight specifically for this roll. I was jazzed about it, and ordered the spendy, yet worth it 12 pc. However, when it came to the table it was fried! And when I spoke with the waitress about it, she was blaming towards me, told me I was in the wrong-despite what the menu listed, and gave me nasty attitude. I told her I wouldnt pay for something I didnt order. When I told her about not being able to eat tempura and asked her if she can ask the sushi chefs about ingredients, to see if there was some miracle I could eat it, she sniffed me, I can try, but they dont speak English! And turned around and off with a puff. She took it off the tab, and gave a 15% discount to the bill. However, her demeanor in the whole thing was horrible. Thus, I am removing stars from the rating, and probably wont go back. And will not recomend this place to family and friends. I spend a ridiculous amount of money on sushi, and love it. And though the other roll I ate was delicious, table manners is a part of the whole going out to eat fun. This wasnt a fun dinner.

Terrible customer service! Had their “grubhub turned off” and wasted over an hour of my time. When I got mad he told me they “wouldn’t make my food with that attitude.” I had eaten there tons of times. Unbelievable! I can’t even express how offensive this experience was.

Service was very slow and non-existent at times. Disappointing for dinner on a weeknight! Not very friendly servers or staff either except the sushi chefs. Everything was delicious but very pricey. $8 for edamame!?Pricier than any Mikuni restaurant which are nicer restaurants and serve even tastier food.

Don’t think about phone ordering, because they will never pick up the phone. Distractions seem to be the norm as we waited 70 minutes only to be told they gave the order to a different table.. I like to support local businesses, but when there is no customer respect, then it is time to go to some where else to get sushi. Silver Saki three stiles and you are out.

The cooks drink in the workplace, they work slowly, the waiters and cashiers are rude, and in the end I took my money and ordered my food in another good place.
