Sky Sushi in El Dorado Hills

First time visiting. Though power went out, staff handled it well. Rolla were delicious 🍣

Food and service were excellent. Annie was very courteous and checked in with me periodically throughout my meal. I felt she went above and beyond to provide a great experience.

Absolutely horrible service. First off, had a rude server that took 15 minutes to get drinks. Second, food took over an hour to come out. The “chefs” were cleaning up and sweeping when we still did not have our food. We asked for the manager and they would not even come over to our table. They finally brought our food out and forgot part of it. The server argued saying that’s all we had. He then remembered that we ordered more that he forgot to put on the ticket. He then charged us full price and said he made sure to put a zero for a tip. The entitlement in the staff is ridiculous.

I had an incredible experience at Ski Sushi! The restaurants beautiful and fun vibe immediately set the mood for a fantastic evening. The diverse selection of riceless rolls was a delightful surprise, offering a unique twist on traditional sushi. And let me tell you about the tempura cheesecake – it was absolutely amazing! The combination of flavors and textures was pure perfection. Five stars for Ski Sushi for delivering such a memorable dining experience!

I loved everything about this place! BUT, the prices are ridiculous! An Avocado roll should not ever cost $12! It was all tasty, I loved our server too. Our lunch on a Sat $100 w tip.Eating out is our treat, but prices are getting out of bounds!

Sat people way too close together when plenty of empty tables. While I was looking at menu and while eating was constantly interrupted when Im just trying to enjoy some quiet time. Took way too long to come collect my payment, the kid who claimed to be Manager instead stopped at another table to take order and when I noticed this I asked another girl to ring me up because I needed to be somewhere, she stopped in her tracks and wouldnt do it and waited for him. Also, the kid claiming to be Manager cant even get his tables right. Im new to the area so wanted to try a new place but I definitely will not be back. Sushi prices were ridiculous and drink prices were ridiculous as well. I ordered a basic roll that should have been marked for 12 or 13 dollars and it was 16!

I ordered a fish less shrimp lover and received a roll with salmon and hot red sauce in it. I called to let them know after getting all the way home 20 minutes away from the restaurant I called and was told they could not refund me and I need to bring it back for a credit for next time. I not only brag about sky and only choose them for sushi ordering it multiple times a month with family and the customer service is definitely not what I go there for however this time when I called a host answered said ok let me get a manager then the “manger” gets on the line has me explain and then says ok please hold while I get my manager then tells me the district manager said he can’t do anything for me unless he sees the roll and then laughed and said I’m sorry you’re upset but that’s all I have for you! I can never go back to Sky without feeling disgusted. I can’t even eat my roll so sad. Don’t go here mikunis is a little more expensive but well worth the service and attention to detail. Everyone here is very unprofessional and very very immature and young. Do better Sky my $40 plus cash tip I gave you should had been worth more than this.

First time and last time! Super slow service. Food took over an hour to come out. Food wasnt worth the wait. Owner / Bartender was rude and arrogant. Never going back!!!!!

Got a little confused on which door was in, but were not here to talk about that. It was crowded when we arrived with the majority of tables filled. The menu was huge which included gluten free options and low carb. Heaven help them, they couldnt get creative with non-meat items. The only creative non-meat roll they had was with carrot shreds and balsamic vinegar. Perhaps... Revamp your menu..just a tad and make it easier to read. People in their early 20s had to squint our eyes because print was so small or smudged off. Server was great and our glasses werent empty but for a few moments. Would i go back, yes if they upped there veggie options. I dont want just a cucumber avocado roll, just saying.

Service was slow and disjointed (ex: ginger and wasabi in one container for 6 people after rolls and entrees already at the table). Gal was nice but perhaps they had less staff because it was a Monday. She was responsive when asked questions. They have a corkage fee for wine. They do have a limited gluten free menu including very simple rolls (ex: tekka maki, sake maki), and gluten free soy sauce. They also have low carb no rice rolls that were pretty awesome looking. I thought my simple rolls looked really sloppy (different sizes, some major rice, some nice and plump with fish) but tasted good. The artisan rolls looked great. I think everyone enjoyed dinner but probably would try another place instead of coming back here. I think the sushi place near Target is probably more affordable and good quality. Its okay. 3 stars.
