SongHak Korean BBQ - Artesia in Artesia

Overall one of the best KBBQ I’ve had in LA/OC. They’re famous for intestines but don’t like intestine so I ordered the prime combo instead. Each has 3 prime meat/pork and sides. They are pretty good.The best thing for me is the grilling service. I always burned the bbq everything I self-grilled. At this place, the server will grill it for you. It’s very nice. I just sat down, looked at the grilling in front of me and enjoy!The after-fried-rice was not the same as what I had in korean. They took the grilling plate away and brought it back to you. In the restaurant I had in Korean, they gave us plain rice and we did it ourselves, so the flavor here is much more intense. But it tasted good.Free parking lot at the back. Who’s still craving for Korean beef intestine like me?Highlights of the menu:1. Small intestine: Gop Chang2. Big intestine: Dae Chang3. Moutain chain tripe: Mak Chang4. Kimchi stew5. Steamed egg pot6. Banchan: so yummyI have an endless love for Korean beef intestine. This love can’t stop and won’t stop!! Today I discover another great Korean beef intestine place and it totally worth the visit. This is a small place that offer intestine on a grill pan eat with potato and onion. Really good to eat along with multiple banchans, including pickled onion and green onion salad. Another day, another intestine place.

Been here twice already. Always busy during rush hour; so i came by around 2pm on Sunday. Hardly anyone there.BBQ is served on hotplate with burner at bottom for continue cooking throughout the whole meal. Meat served half cooked, so need to sizzling for few more min before consuming.i really like the spicy cold noodle that pair well with greasy bbq.

I been several Gobchang places and the other place Kingchang was the in the first place before I visit here. Now Songhak is the very 1st place for Gobchang.Songhak is another level Gobchang place. It gives you qualified service, tasty food, family and happy ambience.I ordered combination M and all.the meal have way over better tasty compared any other place near here.I might got lucky today, so got good service and delicious food but I will definately revisit soon.

Some pieces burned out. Other than that, overall taste fine. Not a big fun of intestine, the pork belly tastes good. As well as the side dishes.

Delicious place for kbbq! The cold noodle was pretty meh tho. Service was a little slow because there was only one waitress.

Authentic Korean bbq - a great place to enjoy Soju!Id recently revisited this restaurant and it is still exactly the same as it was their first opening day. Same great combination of variety meat - mainly beef intestines and innards. If you love kbbq, this is the next step to try. Various different textures and flavors than typical strips of kbbq meats.They also have traditional cuts of kbbq as well, but its specialty is in beef intestines - a time tested soju annual!I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Cute little restaurant mom & pap style. I love their spicy kimche soup it tasted so good. The server is so nice👌

Damnnn i forgot how much i love this place. Still has the same great taste and quality from when i tried it 3 yrs ago. Truly a gem of a place. The intestines are always so flavorful and comes out ready to eat (absolutely no waiting for the extensively lengthy process of cooking it). Service is spot on as well, our server greeted us and promptly had a number of suggestions for what we should try! Love this place; i cant wait to visit again :)!

Dont let the size of this place fool you. They have a great selection of cuts we decided to opt in for the prime combo 1 and it did not disappoint. Aside from the 3 meets they throw in a couple of different sides like corn cheese and kimchi stew. Service was amazing always checking in on our table and making sure we did not run out of soju. lol
