Its Korean restaurant, specializing Korean style sausage. I had never had it when I was little living in Korea. I was introduced by my wife and am enjoying it very much. Restaurant also has other items.

Korean BBQ
Artesia, CA 90701, United States
Awesome! The service here is great. They will help you to grill the meat and make them perfect. We ordered the combo C for 7 people. Were full and satisfied. Both of the beef and pork taste tender and fresh. Also their steamed egg was nice. Their sauce was fantasy too. And it was sooo perfect match with the soju and beer!!This restaurant is a little bit crowded but feels warm. Not very fancy decoration but the foods here definitely authentic. The welcome party came to this restaurant in Koreatown. We ordered the Combo C deluxe set meal, which was enough for seven people. There is a barbecue service here, but the manpower is relatively short. We also grilled some simpler ones ourselves later, and there are many kinds of side dishes. Its delicious and authentic. The steamed eggs are really great. The soup is sweet and not burnt. Barbecue and Shao Beer are a perfect match.I like the atmosphere of this store very much. Although the store is small and the seats are a little crowded, it does not affect the overall feeling. It is very warm and the service is good. The taste is first-class. Recommended

BCD Tofu House
11710 South St #101, Artesia, CA 90701, United States
If you like spicy Korean tofu soup, then this place will fill your stomach nicely. Logistics getting to this location are pretty easy, its in a large shopping center and there is plenty of parking. If youre lucky youll get one of the few dedicated spots right in front of the restaurant. Theres no way to tell just how policed the spaces are, lets just hope that the patrons of the nearby stores are honest. Those not familiar with Korean food might feel a little overwhelmed. Its best to take somebody whos eaten here before to walk you through it (also it helps if you have a Korean speaker with you, most of the staff I came in contact with didnt speak the greatest English, but to me thats a GOOD thing, I have a weird thing about authenticity [although Id venture a guess that the only language spoken behind the door to the kitchen is Spanish {Im not being racist, Ive seen it many times before}]).First youll be presented with an array of appetizers which are included with the price of your meal. Probably the most unsettling for the uninitiated is the whole fried fish. And I mean a whole fish, guts and all. But the meat is easy enough to pick off the bone, and the skin is unnoticeable beneath the fried breading. Theyre all pretty good, just pick around and try new things. The tofu soup (soon-tubu), will come BOILING HOT in a stone pot. You are given lots of different meat choices and combination possibilities, as well as spiciness level (Medium is pretty spicy, but not terrible... If its adventure and danger you seek, order DANGER!). They also have a list of dinner entrees. We didnt try any of them for a couple of reasons. 1) We were there for the soup, and 2) They seemed over priced. Im reluctant to pay $18 for a dish at a moderately fancy restaurant with an extensive wine list, let alone a soup joint. I imagine they dont sell a lot of the entrees. My only criticism of my bowl of kimchee and pork soon-tubu is that it seemed really low on the kimchee and pork and had TONS of tofu chunks. So for $10, I got a bowl of tofu ...... aaaaand somekimcheeandpork. Id rather pay $12 for a bowl and have a measurable amount of the ingredients I opted for. Regardless, the soup is tasty and thats fine. Before you get your meal, your rice is brought in stone pots, and scooped out into metal bowls. At the bottom of the pot is the rice that is burnt to the pot, and hot water is poured into the stone pots to loosen the burnt rice as an after-dinner treat. If you like rice youll like it. If you dont care much then hey, its just the burnt rice at the bottom.Lastly, they have free tubs of ice cream for you to serve yourself. While I enjoyed my free scoop if vanilla ice cream, I do wish that instead they provided their restaurants with soft serve machines instead of a scooper thats just left out in the open with strangers getting their grubby just-licked-soon-tubu-off-of-their-fingers hands.

Chil Po Korean Restaurant
17303 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, United States
This is one of the best Korean restaurants in America. Even in Korea, its not easy to find such a great restaurant. Whenever I have special guests even those who are from Korea, I take them to this restaurant, and they are greatly impressed. If you take your friends or guests to this restaurant, you wont be disappointed. Usually for korean guests, all menus are great. For American friends, I usually order meat menu such as Bulgogi, Bulgogi Ssambab either pork or beef, or fish Ssambab, or Emperors Bossam (very good if you know jow to eat), or Aguzzim (I think, monk fish spicy stew with a lot of bean sprout),... You may try any menu there, and jt will be a venture. About 25 years ago, the restaurant was in Garden Grove. People lined up to eat there evey evening. When they mo ed away from that place, I was sad. Then when I found the same owners in the present location, I was overjoyed. I greatly recommend this restaurant. The greatest authentic korean restaurant in the world.

Chung Dam Tofu
18921 Norwalk Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, United States
Updated on 4/12/21Stopped by last minute for a quick bite and they did not disappoint. Place wasn’t very busy around 8:30pm on a Friday night, so outside was already cleaned up and only had tables set inside. I told them we had a dog with us and preferred to sit outside instead of leave our dog inside the car and they quickly set us up outside even though they had to bring out the chairs again with all the place settings. Needless to say, service was excellent from there on and food was on point as usual. Kalbi ribs, bulgogi, tofu soup and cold noodles were all fantastic.———-They are open for dine in! I wish I lived closer as they are quickly becoming a favorite Korean dining spot for me. They didn’t have the chayote squash I loved before, but the cucumber kimchi was the best I’ve ever had. The night was pretty chilly but I promised myself that I would try their cold noodle (neng myun) special, which is BOGO. The picture shows one traditional cold noodle and the other being spicy noodle (no broth) but found out you have to order two of the same type, so we went with the traditional which is my favorite. It didn’t disappoint, but I did learn that the 2nd/free one doesn’t come with meat or egg, so not best for sharing. Really good if you’re hungry and want extra noodles, broth and veggies. Will revisit for next warm afternoon. Also ordered the kalbi ribs and tofu soup combo. Pricy at almost $30, but some of the best tofu soup I’ve had. Tofu soup seems tp be pretty standard for every neighborhood these days and most are pretty good, but when you have a chance to try a premium version like the one here, you appreciate the extra care and layers of flavor, not to mention having protein in every bite vs searching for it and wondering if there was any. The kalbi is good, but have to admit it’s not the best but right up there with some of the best and not as greasy or fatty as some others. All in all, a great experience including service which is spotty at many Korean restaurants due to language, but they do try very hard and is more than above avg our drinks were refilled, banchan refilled and they checked on us frequently even though we were outside and the only ones dining in. It’s too bad the seating is limited outside since the set up is so nice, but hoping they can keep the business running until we can eat inside again.

Somunnan Korean Restaurant
13303 Artesia Blvd, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
SOUTH KOREA ??Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:Near the center of an east-west corridor from the 605 through Buena Park to Fullerton that keeps getting more and more Korean restaurants, the original Somunnan lives in the quiet shopping center once occupied by the now closed Good Fortune Supermarket. Along with a donut shop, a liquor store, and a Korean fried chicken joint, the center forges forward at the end of 2020 hoping for a better fate than the market.A hearty portion of gamjatang ($13.25) is right at the top of the menu and a must try according to the restaurant. The spine of the pig is in pieces in the bowl with delicious tender chunks of meat barely clinging to it after slow cooking. The spicy broth contains potatoes, some greenery, onions, peppers, and ground sesame.A longtime favorite Korean late night drinking food is budae jjigae ($12.50), which probably translates to hot dog soup in English. That is a lie, but hot dogs make up a good volume underneath the vibrant red broth along with Spam, kimchi, recently unpackaged dry ramen noodles, and chewy rice cakes.

bb.q Chicken Gardena
1743 Artesia Blvd, Gardena, CA 90248, United States
I bought fried chicken at this Gardena store, and it exceeded my expectations and was the best tasting Korean chicken Ive ever had. Whats different from other Korean chicken restaurants is that the chicken pieces are larger, and the owners service spirit is clear., I hope your chicken restaurant becomes a success.

Chris & Pitts BBQ Restaurant
9839 Artesia Blvd, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
Ive been a big fan of C&P BBQ for years, yet tonight I was completely caught off guard. I purchased a full rack of babyback ribs - cost was $39.99 - came with one side (I opted for mashed potatoes w/gravy) - unpacked it from its foil wrapping and was GREATLY disappointed in both quantity and quality of the ribs. Enclosed were nine very thin ribs with little to no meat on them, several overcooked/charred....inedible. The mashed potatoes serving would be adequate for an adult male but certainly not enough for two to dine on. Ive eaten their ribs in the past and they were nothing like this. If this is the quality of their product offered there is no way I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I cant believe I handed over $39.99+tax for what I received. I attempted to eat two of the ribs - nothing on the bone to sate an appetite...the rest you all are looking at in the photo Ive attached. This meal is being returned to the restaurant tomorrow. Ill leave a review on how well that goes tomorrow!!***UPDATE***I returned to speak with the manager who was very courteous and concerned about my experience not being a positive one (as I stated in my original review I have been a long time customer and have always been satisfied and happy with their great meals) He offered another full replacement meal or a full refund of my purchase. Things worked out on a positive note and my faith is restored in them. Im not too shallow to realize that mistakes get made, humans have bad days, and we all need to give each other a break. Thank you to the management of Chris & Pitts on Artesia Blvd for your courteous and professional PR...? and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
