2023-01-07 22:41:32Food was delicious. Pork Belly, Noodles, and dessert were fresh, tasty and delicious. I couldnt be happier with the food and there packaging to go. The restaurant itself isnt up to par for eating in the place, although it may have been at one time, but definitely recommend a to-go order!

2018-05-10 07:37:21Have I mentioned I love to try different foods! Me and my friend was looking to eat at a place that wasn’t a chain type restaurant. And we passed by this one in willow pass, concord on Park n Shop shopping center. The owner actually works there and very nice and attentive. This I would say is Asian Fusion food with exploding tastes. Big food portions (I’m all about that) with the price that you pay. Which was not expensive at all. Their deserts are unique and several options for drinks! Love, loved it!!!

2018-04-10 15:01:39First when we walked in the place, we loved the spacious room with clean, sparsely design and semi-open kitchen style. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in giving us plenty of recommendations and never rushed us. We tried their most popular signature dish Stix wings and it’s a crowd pleaser, crispy skins with tangy chili sweet sauce, fingers licking good wings. The papaya salad was the perfect companion to the spicy chicken wings, crunchy papaya with cilantro and red onions all mixed in with lime citrus sauce, a perfect palate cleansing. We also ventured the Laotian fermented pork salad with crispy rice which is another perfectly balanced dish with the crunch and mint complimenting the fermented pork, which has a texture of beef tendon. The only dish we didn’t care as much was the fried calamari, the batter was just too heavy. The portion was generous and for three people with six dishes, the average cost was $30 per person with lots of to go boxes.

2019-03-25 23:06:21Stix is a really nice looking place. There is plenty of parking and they have beer on tap. Greeted and seated quickly too.I am a big fan of Beef Larb. Its a Laos dish, and Stix advertise itself as a Thai/ Lao Restaurant. I ordered the Beef Larb and was given a Thai Beef Salad. If they didnt have Beef Larb, they should have told me so I could have ordered something else. They gave me a very generous amount of the salad. The salad looks great. However, the salad was drowned in dressing so everything tasted like spicy salad dressing. Very Disappointed.

2019-11-14 12:36:25My wife and I eat here about 1-2 times a month. In my opinion, its easily the best Thai/Laos restaurant in the Concord area due to its combination of affordable prices, fast and friendly/attentive service, and authentic flavors. They have an extensive menu, and happy hour goes from 3-9pm, so youre guaranteed some cheap eats all through dinner. They also have Chang beer, which is a plus in my book. All of their soups are incredible, but be careful of their spice rack - they are super spicy and not for timid of heart. I like a little bit of spicy food from time to time, but their spicy sauce is too powerful for me. We also love their chicken skewer wings. I could simply get two orders of those, a bowl of rice, and Id be set for life. The restaurant is casual in atmosphere. Seating is plentiful as is parking. I hope more people will eat at Stix. Its one of my personal favorites in all of of Concord!

2018-01-15 02:38:17I’ve never had Laotian food before so I really have nothing to compare it to. But from the recommendation of the server I tried the khao poon which is a special that’s not actually on the menu. I wanted something soupy and comforting and it perfectly hit the spot. The dish is a red coconut curry soup with large vermicelli noodles, garnished with fresh mint and cilantro. The portion was huuuuge. I think the portions here in general are big. I also ordered a Thai iced coffee and it came in a huge mason jar. I only drank half and asked for a to go cup and it almost filled the to go cup — you’re really getting 2 drinks here. Love that this is a family owned joint. The service was a little slow but everyone was friendly and helpful.

2018-04-26 01:44:09Sort of Thai fusion type of food. I had their pad Thai which has more sauce than the one I normally get from other restaurants. It makes reheating for next day not as dry. Also ordered their basil chicken...huge dish enough for 2-3 people. Definitely worth a try!!!

2018-09-22 03:54:05Beautifully prepared, authentic Laos food! My wife is Laos (no, it’s not “Laotian”, only Americans say that), and this is as close to her family recipes as we’ve ever found. The portions are generous, the prices are more than reasonable, and the staff are friendly. But the food, that’s amazing!

2021-07-15 00:56:18This place is a gem! Has a very good selection of south east Asian delicacies. I would love to come back and taste the whole menu. You know its good when grandpa and grandma patronize the restaurant. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
