1st and last time coming here…..I ordered the #1 chicken plate to go. As I opened up the plate, the lettuce was submerged with a centimeter of water why??? water which got into the dumplings and to the rice…..gets worse the chicken is dark and black, the Taste of the chicken is bad, the only flavor I acquired to my palate was the teriyaki sauce the cook throws into…..garbage place and unsatisfactory flavor
First time trying a beef bowl from here and I’m genuinely impressed! I figured it would taste the same as other places, most notably Yoshinoya, but the meat has more flavor. I got my bowl nice and hot, rice perfectly fluffy, beef was saucy but not too much to the point where it’s all soggy. It does everything right, with friendly cashiers to boot. I urge people in the area to give them a try
Very disappointed with the customer service at this place. Especially the phone service. I have called three times this afternoon and the first time, someone answered and hung up. The second time, I was on hold for 10 minutes. The third time, they placed me on hold and it’s been a while and I still haven’t been able to place my order (screenshot of phone wait time attached). I decided to drive by instead and the place was empty. Food is good, don’t get me wrong, but with this type of service, I’ll make this place a second or even a third option moving forward.
Place is good but the size of the location lets smell linger around which isnt great thanks to the type of people around. Given I usually only get the combo plate steak and chicken I dont know much about the rest of the menu. So just get in get your food and get out spot is pretty good.
Really disappointed, my wife ordered the combo plate and they only put rice and chicken looks like the other half of my meal which is the salad and the gyoza was missing I tried calling but nobody answers. she drove all the way home and it just is not worth the drive back if we dont even know if theyre going to give her the missing half half of the meal. Also she stated the cashier was giving her a lot of attitude from the moment she walked up to order.. she didnt seem happy to be there and was taking it off om customers
It was my favorite until they raise the price from 4.99 to 5.99 for the small bowl.I dont know why if is still same size and the rice is overcook and they barely put teriyaki sauce on it.This is my last bowl Im going to miss ubut Im not going back until they put back the 4.99 price. Is too much 6.00 dollars for a small bowl
This place is really fresh and delicious. Comes with drink. Order ahead because there are people in line waiting for orders. Prices in pictures are old. Prices went up a couple of dollars.
Great teriyaki! I ordered the chicken/beef plate with avocado. When i opened the plate it was stacked with avocado on top and a big portion of chicken/beef. They give you extra teriyaki sauce, which i didnt even need. It came with plenty.
The tofu teriyaki is delishhh!!!! It has deep flavored grill marks, the consistency is just perfect —not too firm, not too soft. The sauce is the right thickness. The rice is perfectly cooked with a good bite to it. It’s just a delicious bowl of food! Ahh soo goood! They offer some fried jalapeño peppers on the side sprinkled with lemon pepper seasoning & even those are amazing (as simple as they sound). There’s a young gal usually in the front handling the register and phones and she offers exceptional customer service. She is so welcoming & friendly. It is a tiny venue but if you can get passed that, i highly recommend it solely for its delicious food. It is seriously sooo goood!!!!!!

The food was delicious, the cashier is nice, the place is very clean. Overall i really like this place the only reason why I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the service is kinda slow, today we waited more than 25 minutes to receive our food.
This place is nasty asf . I walked in and all my bf and I could smell is armpit.. The place is so small and crowded. The woman working there are so unprofessional and gossip while working. The food tastes so disgusting. And I got a ketchup bottle and put ketchup on the disgusting burger I got, when I took a bite it was spicy asf. Turns out that it was hot sauce and not ketchup. DUMB ASSES need to label their fkn condiments!

You can find on the L.A. health inspection website that they were recently closed for infestation. I used to love this place, now I am not too sure I will go back. Dirty places attract bugs, cockroaches, mice and all that. Very disappointed

Over $18 bucks for bowl!! yeah, no thanks. Ive been a long-time customer, and I have been noticing the price slowly creep up, but this is ridiculous. The food is okay, nothing special and definitely not worth that price. Do yourself a favor and stop paying for these ridiculous prices until they lower them.
In reality, this is Chinese food only because they used the buffet method, that is, and per person there were not two of us and the payment was $33. 50 I think 16.75 and its only Chinese food, a plate of Chinese food really comes out better than 8 or 9 with what they charge for purchases of 2 dishes, its a lot to me for the food, its only Chinese food sold as a buffet and more expensive

2021-11-19 04:22:33I cannot stress enough on how delicious and heartwarming this chicken is. I always go for the large chicken teriyaki plate and it never fails. Chicken is always cooked to perfection never undercooked as well as their rice. Its always hot and fresh. I love that the sauce is not to sweet, they nailed it in my opinion. Make sure to not forget to add aguacate, its always so fresh and at its peak!

2023-05-29 19:32:16I have been finding places to eat when I dont have the energy to cook, that wont mess up my stomach.I found this place after singing at a church up the street from here, and Im happy about it.The food is cooked to order, and you get a good-sized portion. Theyre not overpriced, and its tasty. I love avocados, and they give you a good amount for an additional charge.I wasnt too impressed with the lemon pepper jalapeño though.

2022-02-14 20:56:12First of all i gave this place more than 3 chances, the ladies at the front are very rude, with no customer service skills at all. The food was edible until this last time, the rice was very mushy, more than regular, way too soft and wet. The meat was hard. The fountain drink tastes flat and has a weird after taste like the fountain has never been cleaned, so i asked to substitute it for a can drink and pay the difference, instead i was charged for an extra drink. I paid $17 for a beef/chicken plate and a can drink. Way too much for fast food. Not coming back.
