Went in to Surf Bros Teriyaki for the first time today and they did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal, tasted great and very fresh. Simple yet effective and tasty. The staff was friendly, prompt and provided great service.I would highly recommend Surf Bros and their food, especially being a former athlete and training as hard as I do. I need the proper fuel and nutrition and they provide it.I definitely will be going back!

Super basic fast food. The chicken looks like the stuff you buy frozen in a bag, its slapped on rice with a small cup of teriyaki and boom $14. With a drink it was 17.50 for basic chicken and rice.Not bad but did not what I expected. I will not return.

This really hit the spot! Its actually healthy food, quick friendly service, and a super clean little shop! The place was packed on a Thursday night, which is always a good sign. This will be my new haunt!! Also, Amir the owner, is a sweetheart! Definitely a 5 star experience!

So this place is a one of a kind, in my opinion, Food, atmosphere an employees are top notch. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the prices have gone up significantly an the portions have gotten smaller. No longer do I get “filled”. It’s unfortunate because it doesn’t have to be that way. Owners are concerned about that profit margin. Other than that I highly recommend it for a light lunch. Remember, soup plantation, their muffins got smaller an smaller, now their not around any longer which is a shame.

It was me and my coworkers 1st time coming and definitely not the last. Food was delicious staff was nice and very clean. No cash accepted. Only card.

In my opinion it’s always the places that keep the menu simple that do it best! Decided to randomly try this place for the first time and I’m thankful I did! Now I have a good teriyaki place close to me with friendly staff that go out of their way to help. I thought the food was delicious and it shows by the constant flow of customers coming in. The food portion was perfect the chicken was cooked perfectly and that was some of the best tasting chili and teriyaki sauce. If you haven’t already try this place out

As a returning customer, I am disappointed with the quality of the chicken we were given. Came in at 11:30am Sunday, they gave us quickly heated up a day-old teriyaki chicken. How do I know? The top and outer parts of the chicken were very dry. I cook all the time at home and would know this. When freshly grilled, all parts are supposed to be moist. Perhaps we are the first customers of the day, but take note that people notice these subtle differences in quality.

This is by far the best teriyaki, chicken/rice bowl establishment in all of Carlsbad, CA. The protein is always perfectly cooked and the rice and salad are uniquely delicious. My only suggestion is to order additional teriyaki sauce. My family gets take out at least once a week from Surf Brothers!

The owner is such a kind man and really appreciates his customers. Food is delicious and very consistent. Its a healthy and filling meal which our whole family enjoys. We get chicken with all rice but the coleslaw is pretty tasty.

Ive been going to surf Brothers for over 15 years now. The amount of money you are losing from customers that do not pay with cards is more detrimental than a few counterfeit twenties. Please start taking cash again so all of us that are boycotting you will come back and eat your great food. Cash is freedom. A cashless society is a invasion of our privacy.
