Sushi & Galbi in National City

Unbelievably fresh thick cut sushi! And great service?!! Wow!!! Jane and another waitress took care of the entire room with ease! Treating every table like it was their only table! Thats how I felt, I watched the place quickly fill up for lunch and I gotta start by saying Jane really shined with her service. I am a sashimi guy, and I hate when Im charged high prices for skinny see through sushi. This place cuts them thick, for a great price! The beer options were good, 1.99$ for a sake bomb!!! Whaaaat! The chefs even customized a roll for me, my favorite roll has the lemon and Cilantro on top of salmon. I am so excited I checked this place out because I will now have a dope place to enjoy after church on Sundays!

Great Sushi and a great price! So many tasty rolls to choose from. My favorite is the Jalapeño bomb roll (can be spicy). The California roll is delicious and very affordable. They also have great soups and other items to choose from on their menu.

Excellent! We had a poke salmon tuna bowl, hamachi kama, fried blue crab and chirashi bowl. The place has grown from when it first opened years ago. Prices great too! We will be back again.

This is my go-to place in South Bay for a delicious bento box at an incredible price. The staff is friendly, it is appropriately decorated, and the place is clean. There is plenty of parking space and youre attended to right away, even when its busy.Lets start with my favorite, which are the lunchtime bentos. Not only do you get a miso to start things off, but the box itself comes with tempura, salad, half of a Cali roll, and your entrée as well. Its a lot of food, and all for under $10 (as of this review). The portions are serious, I know a few other places that I enjoy as well where they dont give you nearly as much meat as they do here.When Im in the mood for something different, Ive had their ramen, which is also tasty. Ive had the rainbow roll, the eel roll, the red dragon roll, and the Duncans roll. All of them were delightful and tasted fresh.There arent a lot of sushi options in the area, and when that happens restaurants sometimes get away with mediocrity. Not this place. Come and try it out and youll see what I mean.

Ordered via Uber Eats and completely disappointed. Ordered a California roll and a Philadelphia roll, instead we got seaweed wraps with a hunk of salmon and cream cheese inside?? Nothing like the photos at all. And by the time we received the order it was past 9pm so we couldn’t call them.

We ordered the katsu chicken bento box, salt garlic edamame, and a salmon skin roll. There were a couple great things, like the edamame and the fresh wasabi but the rest was about the same as everywhere else. Except of course, the service which was fantastic. I would need to try a few other things before I could actually decide whether I would come back on a regular basis or not.

My horrid picture doesnt do this place justice. been going here for years and food is so good, hasnt declined in quality despite all these years. very affordable too and service is always quick

In National City, I recommend this mix Japanese Korean. So clean and fresh. The owner is in one of the tables observing. And he talked to us asking how the food is. Its excellent! Wish I took home some more. The baked mussels are amazing. Of course, sushi and salad and my favorite miso soup.

The food is absolutely amazing at a good price. Service is always very friendly and punctual. Wifi is available if you ask for the password. Overall this is my favorite sushi joint in San Diego, keep up the great work!

This place used to be Georges Bakery from back in the day. I was excited to see a new sushi place in the area. It has spacious seating and entertainment playing on several TVs while you eat. The prices are very good for a sushi spot and the food is fresh. I would recommend trying this local place if youre looking for a new place to eat sushi.
