Came here for a quick dinner. My wife ordered the beef udon and baked salmon rolls. My daughter had the appetizer shrimp tempura and I had rainbow rolls and salmon and tuna sushi 🍣. I enjoyed the salmon 🍣 the tuna was good and had a little fishier flavor than normal but the salmon was perfection. Rainbow rolls were delicious too.

Not sure if he’s the owner but the man that takes your order is very rude. Food is good but it’s not worth it. The customer service is bad. It ruined the food because of it, felt like I couldn’t enjoy my meal.

Friendly sushi chef, and the sashimi is amazing. My food was ready in 10 minutes. The prices are a little more than some would expect, but its like that at all the sushi restaurants. There are not plenty of fish in the sea, and you get what you pay for. I felt like my fish was high quality. Thanks for a great lunch! I should have taken a photo.. next time.

Would give zero stars. Came in to try them out just moved in down the street. Literally no one in there when I walked in. It was a ghost town and the atmosphere was Literally beyond depressing. The prices are much more expensive then the menus they post online. The sushi was terrible and not very fresh tasting. The service was not friendly and the prices were astronomical. A specialty roll started at $17.95

Sushi HolicWhere to being hahaha well lets start off with customer service they are very friendly always checking on you to make sure things are very good. Next would be the review of the food it is very very very delicious. Every bite you take is fresh and just mouth watering. I have been eating here for over a year now but never gave it a review as I waiting to see if the service was always the same. And I can confirm the food will always be right on point. Highly recommend this place if you are a regular sushi eater or first time. Covid safety is followed and mask are requiredThanks so much for provided excellent service and keep up the amazing work to everyone even those behind the scenes

Used to be okay now the service is really bad. Not sure if he’s the owner or not but the guy that takes your orders has an attitude and acts like you’re wasting his time as soon as you walk in. He stared at me for a few seconds and then very rudely barked out “can I help you.” He didn’t even give me enough time to look at the menu.

Our family always looks forward to some SUSHI. Hands down our FAVORITE place (DINING in or TAKING out) 💞 Owner is the sweetest man! Staff is professional. Clean and FOOD IS AMAZING!My favorite is thier baked MUSSELS, an as you can see, even our toddler enjoys his sushi & EDAMAME😋 always recommend this place!

By far some of the worst experience at a restaurant. We came in and the waitress didnt wait more than a second before she started asking what we wanted. Then the food was made incorrectly and they still charged us, despite us not eating it. They were rude and gave attitude. Literally glaring at us as we ate after we complained. Never again.

Was in the area for work and decided to stop by and try this place for the first time. Ordered 2 hand rolls, 1 order of octopus sushi and a small house salad. Total came out to a little over $27. Price seemed a bit high but i was hungry and already there so figured inwould get what i paid for (atleast thats what i had hoped) ....the food was just ok, ive had way bertter for less money. What really took me by surprise was the house salad I ordered (see attached photo). Now before i get hounded for ordering a salad at a sushi restaurant, Please understand i wasnt shooting for the stars expected a top grade salad but cmon people all i got was a container full of chopped iceberg lettuce with some dressing on top. Are you joking me? No tomato or cucumber, just plain ole nutrientless iceberg....hopefully the people that run this place will see this and up their salad game by throwing in a grape tomato or two next time......

I come here almost every Friday because its that good. I dont understand the negative reviews but in my experience, the waitress and sushi chef are fast and professional. For eel roll lovers, I highly recommend the cactus dragon as it is my favorite.

Very authentic decor ! All the staff were in traditional dress. The food is authentic and reasonably priced, we got exactly what we asked for but I must mention I felt like the gentleman who served me and my daughter wasnt sure we shouldve been in a sushi place...maybe there was a language issue ? ...in the end it doesnt effect, at all, the fact that me and my daughter loved the place and the food ! & plan to go again very soon.

We had dinner to celebrate my nieces birthday and she wanted sushi. Unfortunately service is cold and unfriendly and we couldnt get out of that restaurant fast enough. We wanted to get some more dishes but decided against it. When service is bad the experience is ruined. Waiter started appearing more friendly towards the end. Too late. We already had an opinion of him. He had preferential treatment of others.It took us a long time to try out this place. I can confidently say we didnt miss out on anything.Mr. Waiter, please be a little more friendly and warm towards your customers.

Honestly staff was nice, and was the best part of the experience.Overall sushi experience would be a 7/10But menu variety and options 10/10Wish there was a little more traditional practice in the sushi, like the meat being a little colder, application of wasabi to the bottom of the meat prior to placing on rice.Rice being flattened and packed, but honestly for an American sushi place 9/10

Ive eaten here a few times and it was very good. Today was kind of a let down. I ordered the teriyaki beef. The beef was cold and tough. My mother had the tempura calamari and it looked like it was breaded with Italian breadcrumbs instead of tempura breading.

I stop here every time Im in Oxnard. The sushi is excellent and prices are good for the quality, about $25 with a drink. I also enjoy the cold plum saki, very tasty and goes well with the meal. The service is average but worth the trip.

Im absolutely addicted to Sushi Holic! This place is amazing. My husband and I come here all the time, sometimes by ourselves and sometimes with a small to large group. It is kid friendly, but we like to enjoy our sushi without arguing...so we leave the kids at home.All of there staff members are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I have yet to try anything that didnt taste amazing. When Im feeling a craving for something a little different, I order the Crazy burrito Roll, its fried, and it is absolutely incredible! Another amazing roll that our whole family really likes is the Tank roll, its new and delicious. It has everything you are looking for when you are craving sushi.Thank you Sushi Holic for making family dinners, date night, and adult night a blast!

(All my reviews are over all) They do offer pick up. When you walk in they all greet you and do take reservations if you have a large party. Ive had a birthday dinner of 10 here before and it was perfect. Quick, calm and got it all right. Servings are good and staff is nice. Picking up is quick and easy. I would order after work and on my way home pick it up for dinner. Nice little place and they even show whatever sports games are on.

Went on Saturday afternoon to order take out in person, there was no line and the place was empty. The owner was condescending and seemed annoyed when taking the order as if we did not know what we were doing, but it was our first time at this place. They have way too many items in their menu, that could be narrowed down to just a few well-known rolls that do not have random names. Most of the rolls were the same variations, just with different names so it is hard to find what you want to order. He was rude and short when answering questions, definitely the worst customer service I have experienced. When asked if they had lunch especials, he answered: its not lunch. We asked if they had an option with multiple assorted rolls he just answered, its expensive. The service was suspiciously fast, the sushi did not seem fresh, and the presentation was subpar, but the flavor was not horrible. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Will not go back to this place and do not recommend it.

Long time customer. Bottom line. Food is good. Sushi chefs are great. Atmosphere is very intimate and mellow. Hostesses are rude, waitresses can be too. I have only met one waitress here that gave friendly customer service, and I have spoken to one man on the phone for an order who was polite as well. Customer service needs improvement. Plenty of other sushi restaurants around the area. So consider it SushiHolic. Youre in the food and service industry.

Some of the best sushi around. Rolls may seem small, but they pack a lot of flavor and you wont be left unsatisfied. We usually order it to go, but I was happy to finally eat in house and the service was superb despite there being all full tables and only 2 waiters.

First and foremost, the food was delicious. Fresh, well presented, just perfect. I had the Fuji roll, edamame, seaweed salad, rice, ramune, tempura, and warm sake. Even my 20 month old loved it. They had an extensive menu, I might add.Second, the service was some of the best Ive ever experienced. Our server was not the best conversationalist, but attended to our every request and even anticipated a few without is having to ask.Thirdly, atmosphere wasnt bad. A couple of TVs but they are high on the wall and the sound was off. Its definitely a casual dining experience, but we went on a weeknight around 7 and I have no complaints.Oh - and the prices were quite reasonable given the quality AND quantity of the food. Id expect to pay $30 a person if you get the full treatment, but a basic roll can be had for $7 or so. Highly recommend.

I liked the sushi. I tried the albacore roll and it was good. So were the california rolls, really good and fresh ingredients. Its a good sized establishment. The price is a bit pricey 10$ for basic rolls and the more populars like 12-15$. But its sushi so to be expected. Lots of choices though.

I have been to this restaurant on various lunch occasions and it is usually not very busy. While the food is pretty good, I think they would do better business if they were more friendly or smile once in a while, especially the girl at the front. I sometimes feel like I am imposing when I ask them for a water refill, etc.

Bad customer service, the male person who serves, very arrogant and discriminating, practically drove me out of the restaurant by bringing me the payment slip before I had received my food. It was different the other time with the attention of a lady who behaved up to the task, very friendly Very cordial, very attentive, so join me but with this mans experience I dont think I will return again.
