2023-05-10 06:49:56I moved out to Los Angeles from New York over a year ago and since then I have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that compares to the ones I love in New York and finally I have, Szechuwan Garden. I had a wonderful experience here and I already cant wait to go back. The restaurant is very nice inside, I adored the peaceful vibes and gorgeous decor. The service was very good and the food was absolutely delicious. My party and I all ordered the lunch special (choice of soup or salad, an egg roll, choice of rice, and an entrée) and every one of us was extremely happy with our food. The crispy noodles that we were served when we sat down were so good that we asked for more. The egg flower soup I had was outstanding and I am sad that I am not eating it right now. The chicken with soft noodles was so plentiful and tasty that I took it home and ate the rest for dinner. I cant recommend this restaurant enough!

2023-05-13 02:32:23It’s okay! Portions are big enough to share which would be nice for a family. Our group ordered two spicy dishes and both weren’t spicy at all. The cream cheese wontons were weird and tasted off. Fried rice was just rice with soy sauce on it. Everything was just “okay”. The service was fine enough. Plenty of parking.

2023-11-01 05:17:1710 dollar lunches? Go Baby Go! See, touch, taste, enjoy! Very tasty. Beautiful and elegant. This is one of the best Restaurant deals in the whole SFV! No kidding. Very good especially the Sweet & Sour Pork!

2023-10-04 01:37:56I ordered lunch special shrimp in lobster sauce and Mongolian beef and both were delicious. They could perhaps ease up on the sodium for the shrimp in lobster sauce. The portion sizes were great and a very decent size each lunch special entree I ordered could have been shared with 1 other person.

2021-01-17 05:13:40First and Last: I been trying since feb last year to order food from my local restaurant, for the first time I order today and it was not horrible but it was not good either. I order 913. honey chicken the crust it was so thick and the chicken almost nonexistent, 1202 ship or combination Lo me in, it was so soggy and overcook the noodle, the mix tempura it was edible, G05 cucumber salad they top it with imitation crab meat, and they ruined it, G06 seaweed salad was edible and Thai Iced Tea that has so many ice that was tasteless. I cannoned eat 2 things of my $43.80 so disappointed.

I ordered szuchuan shrimp and was absolutely fantastic.Menu offers a wide variety of selections and portions are quite generous.Keep up the good work. Will be back soon.

2023-10-13 22:51:19The restaurant is really nice from the inside. You wouldve never guessed it from the outside. Service is good. Prices are very reasonable ... lunch special is only $12 per person. The food is ok. Nothing special unfortunately.

2019-12-17 18:19:03Great ambience, plates dished out were well balanced not salty, not tangy, not spicy, not sweet and not Sourish. Pricing absolutely affordable, the egg flower soup and spring rolls were great. The stewards are bit slow in paying attention if not this place is a gem.

2019-10-28 20:55:18I really struggled with whether or not to give this restaurant a five or four star. I think a 4 and a half would be perfect and Ill explain why. The atmosphere and decor was very nice. I really liked the lighting overall and the bamboo area. The food is very good and they give the biggest portions Ive ever seen at an Asian restaurant with reasonable prices. Another added feature is that they serve Chinese and Japanese food so it was nice to be able to order sushi with our meals. When ordering a dinner meal they give you a big bowl of soup, not a cup like you usually get with most dinner combos at other restaurants of this type. The cream cheese crab rangoon was at least 3 times the size as any Ive ever seen. The actual portions of the main course were huge, as well. We were there for 2 of our birthdays and they were nice enough to bring out 2 ice creams with candles and sing happy birthday. Another thing, the ice tea was especially good! Here is the problem. The waiter we had seem to get frustrated with us, when trying to take our order. I think because he didnt understand (possible language barrier) and he would just walk away, without warning, and start waiting on other tables and do other things. He even seemed a little mad even when we were talking to him so nicely. He did this a couple times so it took a very long time to get our main order taken. We had previously ordered some appetizers and drinks and did receive those with some confusion. We finally flagged down another lady that worked there to help us and she brought another waiter and they served us well. But the first waiter also messed up our tickets so much that they had a hard time figuring it out and never got it right, so we just had to figure it out ourselves. With all this, there was plenty of positive that we would still be back.
