Always horrible service!!! The lady there has a bad attitude! Prices are way up now $$ The food is good. The waiter is super rude. Asked for water he says bottle water I say yes . He never brought the water. I understand they don’t want to give out water 💧 which is a super shady business practice. But at least bring out a damn bottle of water. Then Asked him if he could add a order of fried rice to our order he mumbled something and never brought anything. Pretty bad service for paying over 85$ for 5 orders of soup 🍲
First and last time coming to TK noodle we order fried rice, #27 and #9 and the fried rice smelled burned and tasted too. We got it replaced with a new one. My mother in law was enjoying her soup when she noticed something on her soup she took it out and knew right away it was a finger nail we told the lady on the register about it and she took it and gave us a new one. Instead of giving us a discount or anything for those mistakes we get charged full price. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!!! 🤢🤮
No frills, reliable spot to get your noodle fix. Is it gourmet? No. Would I go again? Probably. Would be 4 stars but price increases has made TK less of a bargain.
Soup wise this place Is compareable to to the New Tung Kee Noodle that was in The Gilroy Crossing Shoping Center across from target.The customer service here isnt very good. Their stingy with the take out sacuees. Your better off dinning in. I do miss the other place.

I ordered, waited 3 minutes and when I got to TK Noodles, may be 6 minutes later, my order was ready 🙌🏼The app showed different, but went inside the restaurant and yes, they had my order. Terrible experience... If i were food inspector that place will be closed by now !!!!!..i like Vietnamese food soup And stuff...this place dirty flys all over the place terrible food was very cold and expensive they over charge you.... A Mexican man driving a black 2007-ish Honda CRV hit and ran a person, cut multiple people off and rushed to the back of this establishment. He frequents this establishment, so he probably works here
Covid update. 4/10/21.Indoor dining but have to order at register first. Canteene style. Person taking order got distracted and never submitted our order. Waited 25 minutes to find out because there is no table service. Recommend to check after 10 minutes of not receiving food.Food is ok. Mostly cook to order. Place seems a bit run down. Bathrooms have a sewer stench but usable. Plenty of parking in plaza. Indoor seating only. They accept credit cards. Depressed atmosphere from staff and place.
I’ve been coming to the TK for many years. Today I spent nearly $100 and asked for extra Chile. They gave us 2 of each: oil Chile, the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and the sriracha. I kindly asked for more of the oil Chile and sriracha. She handed me two small containers and was bothered when I asked for two more (kindly with “please”). She got mad and said “I gave you eight already!” I was shocked! Never again.
I like noodles and I try to stop here for a bite every time I pass through the area. Unfortunately, I’m the type who orders the same thing every time even though they have many options.
We get their and the parking stunk really bad. Inside the restaurant the guy couldnt accommodate our family of 7 so we all had to sit in different tables. Then, one of the guys literally starts mopping while we are eating and it the smell from the Clorox was so strong we couldnt finish our food. And it caused us headaches. Like seriously mopping while eating... This place used to be really good and the service was good.
Rude woman staff told us what table to sit at, instead of letting us choose a table. Dirty, uncleared tables everywhere. Had to order at the cash register, but no signs that direct customers (many were confused). Prices much higher, and portions smaller. Realize supply chain and food went up, but this is not high quality restaurant food. Shrimp are not deveined, so your eating their ****. This place is definitely on the downslide and its sad how they run it now. Wish New Tung Kee didnt close.

Terrible service... we went in and I pointed to the lady if we could take the booth... she waved like go ahead and motioned at me to get the menus at the front... After a few minutes I kept trying to get anyones attention and the lady noticed me several times... Noone ever came... after 10 mins we got up and left.. Its unfortunate... We recently moved from San Jose and we were amazed that there was a TK noddle in our area we came here and it was quick we sat down ordered and in 5 minutes they came with our food it was not crowded there was only a bit of people but lt was very good 5/5!!
We bring my daughter to eat here at least 3-5 times a week because shes a very picky eater but loves the rice noodle soup. The lady that serves us is very sweet and as soon as we walk in she gets our order ready. I would give it 5 stars if they wouldnt charge a 3.75 % fee to use the debit card. The food is made fresh and tasty, the place is clean.
The food is good. But this place gets less than zero for front of the house quality. The staff has no concept of friendly customer service. No smile, no welcome. Honestly, I think the staff is probably human trafficked, exploited indentured servants. Very disconcerting.
It like this place, I go here all the time because they have the good rice. Its a soup spot, but I usually order the beef stew over rice. Or combination over rice and soysauce shrimp over rice. All very good, however I will say because Im honest, the beef stew can be a hit or miss. Like, it could be bomb.com or shmerrrr...
Lousy customer service, overpriced food given the quality of the meats and the noodles. The meats lacked flavor and the texture felt as if it had been frozen, thawed, frozen, and thawed again. The noodles were still very much raw. The broth lacked any sort of rich flavor. We ordered four items and 3 drinks and our bill came out to almost $70. Truly a very dissapointing experience.
The people serving were great and the venue is also very nice. However, I didnt dig the food so much. I guess it just wasnt my cup of tea? Im also kosher (and try to be vegetarian) so I didnt feel there were many options for me except for beef and fried rice. When I went, I had no options in terms of the size of food. I dont eat a lot, so I ended up spending much more than necessary bc the portion size was so big. If I had liked the food, I would have saved it for later, but it wasnt worth it to me. I gave 3 stars rather than 2 bc I really liked the people running the business, the food came quickly even during the noon lunch hour, and bc I understand that my case is very specific. I think my review will be helpful for others who might be in a similar position as myself.

I dont really want to remember my experience there. In this difficult time I was waiting to have a delicious Chinese food. Last week we was looking for a place we know, but unfortunately that place is closed now. So we looking for a near place and was the reason what we came there. So I ordered my food, and then we were waiting about 25 minutes, then the lady who took my order call me and giving me a wrong order. I told her am sorry but this is not my order I orden something different, she told me you orden this you dont remember what you order. OMG I asked for my money back and she refused to give the money. I really never had a service like this. I dont know how at this difficult times some people dont care about their customers. They have to understand customers gives business

Had to special order a shrimp only bun mi. Asked for a little broth, like half of whats in bun. They brought us 2 huge bowls of supermarket knolls chicken broth with half egg noodles and half rice noodles (no clue why, is that even a thing?) No vegetables, except a few green onion slices and sprouts, and a few cilantro leaves. And 4 lil shrimps... Tasted horrible and the waiter was visibly irritated, probably because he was having a bad day, and didnt want to fulfill a simple request. Its dirty here, and the most expensive. My girlfriend and I both agree. Worst Vietnamese place/food weve ever experienced... 😥

Excellent noodles. Chock full of umami and flavor. We tried pretty much every noodle type in our group and all were delicious. Service was quick. Their boba teas were also good - the melon tasted fresh and not artificial like some can be.
It’s ok. They never really turn on the AC. Food taste bland like no flavor. Especially the soups. But I still eat half of it lol.. after that I get “grossed out” you also need to add all the flavors You can that they provide to get it tasting ok. You ask for some lemon for the soup they bring you one small piece! Like c’mon!!! Give me more lemon!!
Everything always hot and fresh.Today I had one of my favorite few. #26. Soy sauce fried pork. Comes over a bed of always cooked perfect rice with cabbage and a nice sauce.Served on a nice platter.
Stopped in for lunch after a difficult visit at the nearby hospital. The food was delicious and just what we needed to soothe our souls. Great service. Great food. Great location. Thank you to the staff for making a difficult day easier.

Where do I start?! My family and I have been coming to this TK noodle in Gilroy for years! We used to live in Gilroy 4 years ago. I remember that when ever we would feel under the weather or needed some hot delicious soup we would come here. We actually came a couple times a week! Theres 2 gentlemen that always knew our order and waited for us to order eventhough he knew what we wanted. Recently last week we went and he knew exactly what we wanted and told us long time no see! We were like wow!! You remember us?! He smiled and nodded Yes ofcourse! You like #9 and your mom #3 I really did feel appreciated and welcomed. Customer service at its finest! The chow fun is amazing as well!
All the servers look grumpy all the time! The food quality is very low ....big bowl but just water only! When we were there the lady didnt even offer us something to drinks! Not even the water.

Great place to get awesome chow mein, chow fun and vermicelli noodles. Also their different varieties of soups are great and you get such a big serving you never leave hungry!P.s. try their coffee its amazing!
Best Pho/Vietnamese/Boba in SALINAS period.I love pho and I tried all pho places in Salinas.This one is the most authentic, best cleanest soup with the best ingredients.Almost as good as the ones you can get in San Jose or SF. Their best dishes are PHO so try them. You wont be disappointed. They have other nice rice dishes and vermicelli dishes as well. All VERY GOOD!
Clean, food was good. Employees were not welcoming; all looked sullen, bored and unhappy. Except to take order no words were exchanged. When we were leaving I told my husband, it was like we were never there.

Great pho, Vietnamese noodle soup. My favorite is the #9 combo soup for $11. I think it is the most expensive dish on the menu. I always try to stop when I am in the area.

The waitress changed my order from duck soup to chicken soup without telling me when I asked about they said... We dont have duck. They should have told me they dont have the main ingredient for my dish not change it on their own.

$11.95 for the #3. A bit pricey compare to other T Ks in San Jose. Top it off the Health Inspector was on site and was overheard stated some things had to be done in the kitchen area.

2023-05-30 01:40:19Service was good. I ordered the chicken chow mein and got the crispy chicken Instead. The chicken had bone in it, which was kind of a turn off. I added soy sauce and plum sauce and then I was able to eat it.I think because it was my first time I did. Ot know how this restaurant worked. The local seemed to know whats up. They didnt seem to have any problems.

I am old traditional TK fan… … sorry 😞Be careful, they charge 4% of your bills for using credit card… obviously they try to collect cash to avoid paying sales taxes! Dishonest!I definitely avoid this restaurant!

2022-09-30 09:58:17We walked-in, place was not crowded on Wed around 6pm, and lady took my order, and requested we sit at the sofa seat. Payment is at counter after meal. Note that they charge 40cents for every 10dollars if pay by credit card. We paid cash.The #9 combination soup noodles was nicer than expected. $12.50 a bowl. Soup was rich in taste though noodles a ted bit more on the hard side. Pork was good too. Prawn is very fresh.To add, the toilet is very clean and spacious.

2023-11-04 16:20:50If you grew up in the bay and you know what TK is, then dont expect too much out of it. Great joint to grab something quick to eat. After the pandemic, the service just went straight downhill. The one in Gilroy. You do your own seating, but theyll at least give you the menus...sometimes. The process now is that you have to go up to the cash register to order your food, but you pay afterward. The annoying part is if you use a card, there will be an automatic 3-5% fee charged, so bring cash. FYI - they dont have an ATM. Recommended dishes: Beef Sate Noodle Soup (my fav), Wonton soup, and stir fry beef chowfun. Best of all, ask for a side of crunchy fat bits for your soup topping. Cant go wrong with more flavor... just your health.

2019-09-22 02:33:15There is a very cafeteria or food court ambiance to the restaurant which is not necessarily a bad thing. There is table service although you go to the register to pay. The selection was less than I was expecting and the presentation bland. Having said that their service was brisk and the the food certainly edible. A little expensive for what you are getting.
