2023-09-03 16:37:39Wanted to see what all the hype is about. Stopped by and the tacos are delicious. Its definitely a must if in the area. The owner informed us they will be closing at the end of the season, so if you get a chance to get over there for some yummy tacos.. run! Its a VERY small place and seating is limited but worth it. Parking is limited.. Best bet is to find street parking (Good luck!).

2023-08-11 17:34:55Great location for a good bite to eat after a day out and about with friends and family. They have an extensive menu and with many vegetarian and vegan options. Make sure you are specific when ordering because the food is often pre cooked and reheated for orders.

2023-06-06 02:21:20Great local taco joint! Service was friendly and pretty fast. Parking is tough on a busy day - street parking is your best bet. The tortillas were particularly great and loved the added guac and salsa they add on when you pick up your order. Not too much seating either. I suggest going for an early lunch to heat the crowd + take advantage of their taco Tuesday special prices!

2023-08-26 16:18:24Sad to see it’s closing in September 2023. The best classic California tacos and nachos and the original vegetarian for option in Orange County for the last 35+ years.

2022-04-24 22:40:30This place is a not-so-hidden gem. While fish dishes are their bread and butter, theyve also got tofu and other options for the non-fish eaters (keyword: vegeterian, vegan). Their refried beans are proudly made without lard -- but with the other l-word: Love. (You wont miss the lard.) For fish eaters, the fish is delicious, and theyve got a bunch of different fish options to choose from. The staff is entertaining and friendly. Service is relatively quick -- theyre clearly a smoothly oiled machine behind the beach-shack-not-actually-on-a-beach facade. There are a ton of fish-taco options in Laguna Beach, but wed go back to this one without a second thought.

2023-09-11 21:32:48OCs most notable purveyor of top shelf tacos and other amazing victuals. Theyre departing end of summer, GET THERE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

2023-10-13 21:01:58Place sucks. Weird customer service. No flavor. Chips were literally what you’d find at a ballpark and salsa was straight out of the jar. Tacos came with no toppings and a complete waste of money. $7 for a three bites of taco.Walk down the street to Rasta taco and get a real taco if you’re in the market for some tasty food.

2023-09-05 08:21:13Ive been coming here for over 20 years, this is one of my top 3 restaurants I have to hit when Im home. Ive come here with friends, family, and by myself. The tofu mushroom burger is my favorite with a beer and a vegan brownie. I am finding a way to fly home before Gonzo closes. Heart break express 💔

2021-06-06 16:18:27The food was great, it had a nice fresh and home-made quality and was prepared quickly. I was surprised to see mexican pizza on the menu, and the blackened tofu pizza was quite filling despite being so small! The bean and cheese quesadilla was excellent. The guacamole and salsa were all very fresh. It was a little pricey for the portion sizes but I think that comes with anything in Laguna Beach.
