Simply stated, this is the best sushi value I have ever experienced. My wife and I have probably eaten restaurant sushi one-hundred and fifty times, and this is the best. Now, grant, 3/4 of those were belt sushi to get a good deal, but THE DEALS HERE are pretty similar while the quality equals or exceeds the chef sushi meals.The fish was swimming within the last two days, maybe yesterday. The portions are surprisingly generous, and the owners are amazingly happy and kind. There is NOTHING to detract from the experience of To Go Sushi, except possibly that you really DO have To Go to it. If you live in Rancho Mirage and love sushi, lucky you. If youre visiting in Palm Springs and want to go up from grocery store sushi without shortening your vacation as a budgetary plan, go to this restaurant.And leave a GENEROUS tip. Youll still be way ahead of the Palm Canyon Drive crew.

This restaurant is a gem in the desert for fast, cheap, and delicious sushi on the go. Its run as a small operation by an extremely nice lady and her husband. The only issue I have with this place is the fact that its so popular its almost impossible to get to order on the phone after a certain time which makes the service kind of bad due to how small the business is. The food is amazing if you do get to order though and is some of the best in the valley. Will definitely keep ordering food from here.
We go here for the amazing service, attention to detail & outstanding sushi! You couldn’t ask for a friendlier environment as you wait to get your takeout sushi. The quality ingredients is great. The additional toppings and sauces are more than one would expect with the reasonable prices. They seem to have a steady return customer base that should say more than I could. If you are visiting or a local you should put this on your “go to” list of lunch or dinner restaurants.

This is my go to weekday sushi place. You know what youre getting and its decent sushi at a good price. If youre looking for a more upscale dining location look elsewhere. Thats said if youre looking to get your fix for sushi for a decent price with a good quality this is your spot.

Ordered $120 with of sushi for a birthday party. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! They had everything ready at the time of pick up and it was all made that day. Everything from the rice to the filings were all fresh. Will DEFINITELY go back again.

They are a family owned little place with extremely friendly people. They are fast, efficient and the sushi is good. They have a good little selection and you can pre-order over the phone / internet then pick up. They have sushi platters or individual selections; from sushi to sashimi. The prices are in the medium range. The food is prepared fresh and made-to-order.Iwould say that they are more like a sushi fast food place. We like to go there once in a while and the owners are super nice.

My favorite shushi spot in the whole valley. Its Super cheap and super tasty! When I come here I normally get a spicy tempura roll and a crispy roll. I share thoes two with my boyfriend and we are STUFFED. Portion sizes are very generous.
The price was great and the portions Were very generous. The atmosphere was a little bland however the flavor and the food made up for that aspect. I’m there for the food not for the atmosphere. I strongly suggest trying the sashimi plates. I would definitely come back here and I strongly recommend trying it if you have not
The best sushi in the Coachella Valley. The rolls are so good. Nice and big and for the price it is worth it. Been coming here for years. Never disappointed. Highly recommend.
Great place to go if you crave some simple rolls. Just keep your expectations in check. Remember its not Urasawa, nor are you paying the typical $500 a person prices. Its no frills, fill-a-craving type of place. With that said, they do a great job of making economically delicious rolls. Very friendly service as well.Ambience- No frills. Good food...best for take out or solo dining due to the ambiance. Would have rated 5 stars if it wasnt for the single use styrofoam serving supplies and being told water isnt served...only option is purchasing bottled water. Odd they serve sushi but do not seem to connect their contribution of waste to the eventual posioning their main source of food. Owner: there are compostable options available. Styrofoam doesnt break down and you dont even have the biodegradable type of styrofoam.
Delicious food, good portions, my only complaint is that its such a small place that unless youre the only person in line theres going to be a long wait. I would definitely recommend ordering ahead

Its a mom and pop shop but for sushi. Ive never been disappointed with any of the rolls. You can sit and eat there or just like the name says Sushi to GO.

They were very friendly, quick to help us, and all around wonderful!We ordered the Cali Combo A and the Roll Combo and they even threw in some really yummy fresh kimchi!They were fast, friendly, and professional.Our experience at To Go sushi was a really pleasant surprise since we had not looked them up or come across them before.We will be returning when we do deliveries. Friendly husband and wife operation, very courteous and reasonably priced. Orders for pick up usually ready in less than half an hour. A must for on the go Eisenhower employees and surrounding businesses. Dinnertime is not as busy for the little cafe so make a visit.

I usually don’t order California rolls because I do not consider them sushi, but they come with the Roll Combo, and they are so delicious! Also the spicy tuna is perfect, and the rice is on point every single time. You do have to walk in and order, and depending how busy they are, the wait could be 10-15 minutes. But it is well worth it!

Tried calling and ended up going in. Place was empty still took almost 40min to make my order. Might go back as not many options in that part of town.

They have very reasonable prices for good portions of each menu. I picked in the kitchen and sushi bar area. I realized it was functional yet very clean. I ordered the rainbow rolls. Its the fresh. I also ordered crispy rolls. I dont smell any reused oil spelling. It was really crispy and delicious. This place is top of my list for my lunch during the week. Thank you!

2021-05-19 01:36:09This tiny sushi spot is a hidden gem. Absolutly delicious, I ordered 2 Salmon avacado rolls and 2 Chicken terriyaki bowls, My boyfriend and i devouered the whole thing. The sushi was packed with lots of salmon and the pieces were bigger than usual, Not to mention the Teriyaki Bowls were filled with sauce and vegtables.

Your are wonderful people doing a great job to bring affordable good sushi to the area. I ate half of the sushi it was so good before I remembered to take a photo.
