First time of many for sure.Was the perfect date for my soulmate and I 💓The server (I need to get her name!) Is so warm and welcoming and caring that she felt like my own mother.I felt completely at peace and home as I enjoyed my first ever Bolba tea and Pho!!I could not have asked for a better experience if I tried.
My sister and I had some awesome drinks and a free aaaamazing dessert as we were the only customers there. Super yummy!
-Food is truly delicious. The Chili Lemongrass noodles were so good!!-This place has the freshest, best BOBA in Hollister!! The boba is never stale or made wrong. The drinks arent ever chalky!-The staff are friendly, clean, and helpful.-The building is kept clean, and they have quiet relaxing modern music playing in the background.-The outdoor sitting area is peaceful, and private-feeling.
This was a good place to go.Staff gets 5 stars. The location gets 5 stars. The Pho gets 3.75 stars but let me explain. Some friends of ours are from Vietnam and weve had home made fresh Pho so my expectations are high. Like I said, I did like it but compared to our friends, it gets a 3.75 rating. Besides the Pho, we also had eggrolls which were up to par. The buba tea was good but they have it labeled as bubble.Anyway., if you are looking for some Pho in Hollister, this is a good place to come.
Best Vietnamese food in town period! They had growing pains in the beginning like all new places. The front staff was slow. But they have a new front staff manager Thuy and she is quick, friendly and on top of things. The owner Oanh is a lovely lady who works very hard to give all of her customers a personal touch and authenticity. They are the only authentic place in town. Sure there is another noodle place in town but it not owned by Vietnamese people and there food is good. But this place is great. We have been supporting them since they first opened. My wife, Chau and I love this place. They have something for everyone. Rice dishes, noodles, soups, ice coffee, boba drinks, etc. You can dine outside right now or order to go. You will not be disappointed in their food or service. Again, if you want authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place to go. And did I mention that they make other Asian dishes as well.... Give them a try.
Got the Lemongrass shrimp special for lunch today. So good, hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back 🙂

I got the combination pho, an order of spring rolls, an Italian orange soda and the strawberry Boba, my friend shared her eggrolls with me. Everything was delicious, I ate everything. The pho was so tasty, it was a generous amount. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a complimentary carrot cake which was AMAZING! Please support your local businesses. I want to try some of their other menu items next time. Total cost with drinks was $27, not bad at all!!
Great customer service! I have been there 2 times and both times the customer service was amazing. The soups were also delicious. We had Chicken Pho and the Wonton and noodles one. Both had a lot of flavor which I have never found to be the case at any other Pho place I have been to. Their boba was also great. I had the milk tea and the taro. The boba pearls were a great consistency and the tea wasnt too sweet.
Great experience and truly delightful staff! Had the pho, matcha boba, and salad rolls (which were exceptionally tasty with the dipping sauce). The outdoor dining space was charming. We were even given complimentary jelly desserts, which were light and perfect at the end of a very filling meal. Will be back when I am in the area!
I have plenty to say about this restaurant and its owners. If you look closely at some of the five star reviews you can tell something is going on. Theyre sending their workers out to comment good things. N.G is only commenting to defend his job. I have never worked there but I have plenty of friends there. Sometimes paychecks are incorrect amounts. Employees arent treated as they should. I really want to like this restaurant but theirs to much toxicity between the owners and some cooks. They really need to just take a step back and learn how to properly manage their restaurant.
I really like this place. Today was our second time getting takeout from them and both times have been good! We tried the number 24 (chicken and rice), weve tried the pho and the number 18. Weve also had their Boba teas which are so good and both times theyve added 2 desserts which have been super tasty! I highly recommend this place. First time here. I had a beef combination pho. I wanted to get boba tea too, but I wanted no ice and they said they dont do that. Ive never heard of a restaurant refusing a no-ice request. So Ill never be ordering boba tea here, much as I love boba.I would normally dock a star for that, but...food was really good (didnt come with bean sprouts tho), outdoor dining courtyard was lovely, service was excellent, and there was a small piece of complimentary carrot cake at the end. Id come here again. Just not for boba.
I love there food I have gone there like 3 times a month. Their boba is actually good for once not a place that just is a water boba love the food it is 98% OG Vietnam. Luo is a super nice and fun employee. Would recommend to everyone instead of super noddle
Good afternoon everyone. Just thought I’d hop on here and share my experiences with this restaurant. I’ve been employed with To Pho for roughly 3 months. Throughout these months, I’ve experienced in incredible amount of changes within the business. But, one thing I haven’t experienced, is being mistreated by the owners or fellow coworkers. My experience has been nothing but positive. My job pretty much includes a little bit of everything, but I mainly answer the phone for takeout orders and questions, I ring customers up on the POS system, and also serve customers dining in with us. I experience a little bit of everything. My boss is an incredibly generous woman, providing all of her employees with free meals throughout the day, as well as beverages and even meals to take home at the end of our shifts for our families. Our breaks are always given on time, as well as our bi weekly salaries. My boss doesn’t speak English very well. With that, it is very common for customers to misunderstand her. Those who were asked to leave To Pho not only misunderstood my boss many times, but also took advantage of her generosity and didn’t adhere to the regulations in place. As unfortunate as it is, it helps the business grow, and helps my boss learn from the past. Now, the business isn’t perfect, there is always room to grow, and with time the business will. As for the reviews, there’s always two or more sides to a story, those reviews provided one. As someone who has been employed far longer than those previous employees, I ask that those who haven’t tried the restaurant to give it a shot. We will do everything we can to make your experience worth it. Thank you all.
The service at this establishment was terrible. I was rudely greeted by one of the cashiers and she had no people skills. She was very rude and did not answer my questions about the menu. The weight was unnecessarily long for 2 cups of Boba. The prices are also severely high for no reason the quality is not up to par with the prices. I am very disappointed in the service the prices and the quality of the food at this place I am never going again and I am not telling anybody to come here ever again.
Dont listen to tween van. That worker is actually a very good friends with the owners and is very biased. Also, tween has only been working there for 3 days. Therefore, they have no idea what it gets like down the road. The chef still has her problems and the owner has no idea what goes on. No wonder they are hardly getting any business. And to try to save it, tween sets up a review to make the restaurant look good. I bet the only two likes it got was from the chef and the owner
Just visited here since we are new in the area and were exploring. Food is okay but service was great! Lady server made sure to always check on us if we needed anything else. Will be returning again with the family when we get to go downtown Hollister.
My grandson picked up take out for dinner for our family. Itv was wonderful. Loved the chicken curry soup. The caramelized pork was a favorite for everyone. The kimchi...was the best. Fresh. So good. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating!! Great change.
Food lacks flavor. Doesnt taste authentic. Ordered a soup #9 and it literally only had 1 shrimp and the portion was small even though they said they are all large portions. Eggrolls were decent. Also ordered fried rice which tasted plain. Ill stick with the other pho spot in hollister. I saw what looked like a teenager/young adult making the food and I guess that should have been the first sign that it wont be authentic.
Combination pho was delicious! The servers were very nice and they gave my sister and I free desserts on the house! Cant wait to come back.

I love their combo noodle soup! Two different types of noodles, wontons, shrimp, and chicken. Best of all worlds! Occasionally I like to treat myself to boba as well. YUM!

Best pho in town!!! The man who took and packaged our order was so polite, he really took the time to put everything together nicely. The pho is delicious - some of the best I’ve ever had. Will be going back regularly!!
The boba is amazing! The taro boba was exactly how I like it. I also tried the honeydew boba, which was a bit too sweet but tasted pretty good. Staff was nice and I didnt have to wait too long for the drink.
My gf and I went here on Sunday November 8th for lunch. She ordered the standard beef pho and I ordered the sweet and sour chicken plate that comes with rice. This place absolutely bangs. I would literally slap anyone who would give this place anything below 4 stars. Will be coming back here very soon
Finally got another pho place in Hollister and I can get my boba fix! I ordered the Hue Vermicelli and milk tea boba and the hubs got the chicken curry soup. The vermicelli soup was delish and filling. Only complaint from the hubs was the chicken in his soup had bones.
Horrible tasteless, old vegetables, hard noodles, for two soups I paid $26. I will never buy there again I prefer the restaurant Super noodles the pho has better quality

We discovered this spot during the flu season, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Not only did the food have a healing effect on my wife, but it also tasted amazing.What struck us the most was the owners dedication to her business and community. We witnessed her gifting a boba to a school bus driver and walking her kids into the shop. It was a beautiful sight to behold and resonated with us deeply.Food:I loved trying different dishes on each visit and was never disappointed. The lemongrass chicken with white rice was my favorite, and it had a sweet-spicy flavor that I still remember. As for my wife, her love for the veggie tofu pho never fades.Service:The owners commitment to providing excellent service was inspiring, and her staff are also very helpful.Atmosphere:The restaurants atmosphere is intimate yet spacious, with outdoor seating, and is located in the heart of downtown.I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wholesome dining experience. 2023-11-04 16:22:48Only vietnamese pho joint in Hollister. Theres another one but not authentic. Little disappointed that their quality of food decreased as of today. Ordered the usual beef combination. The server over the phone got the order wrong. Missing item, so I had to wait a little during pick up. Noodles were undercooked. Asked for tendon, but it was so chewy, I couldnt eat it. Brisket slices and beef balls were dry. At least the rare steak was good. The two good things here are the appetizer wonton soups and the shrimp spring rolls.

Ample space, but in the shade due to the adjacent building so can be chilly on a Winter evening.FOOD:The food was good. Ordered Fresh spring rolls for the table, which was on the more basic side but the peanut sauce was good. Ordered Caramel Chicken which was kind of a weird name. It was somewhat like a sweet teriyaki-like sauce, with very tender chicken, served in a clay pot. Overall it was delicious, and I ate every last bite. My only wish was perhaps a slightly larger serving of the main entree and slightly less rice. (Perhaps it was because I just came from a hike and was really hungry, but I wouldnt have minded a little bit more). The flavor was great though, with a nice balance of sweet and savory.

The Pho on the other hand... maybe it because it was to go but it wasnt as delicious as sitting and eating it while boiling hot with all the extra goodies they give you (herbs, lime, bean sprouts, etc)

Clean healthy food. 20 minute lead time for pickup.-Eggs rolls, crispy delicious very meaty not cabbage filler.-Beef pho was a luscious broth topped with the right fixings.The neum neong was pork, shredded carrots, shreds of romaine on rice noodle salad. Light, bright, fresh and tasty.-Pork and onions stir fry was delicious and filling.All generous delicious portions prepared with pride that can be tasted.Also bubble tea. The taro was purple sweet fun.Nice patio with mural. Good vibes.

2023-07-13 19:37:52The prices shown here do not reflect the actual prices that To Pho charges. For example, the picture of the menu from three years ago shows a bowl of pho at $10.95. It’s closer to $19 after taxes in 2023.I went here several times. The restaurant is not your typical pho place. There is a mix and mash of other cuisines, like Korean and Shanghai. So, if you’re looking for a traditional pho place, look elsewhere. Like outside of Hollister. Because you’re not going to find another close to Vietnamese cuisine than To Pho.In terms of quality, even though it is a mix and mash of different countries’ cuisines, it is still fairly good. I had the boba, too, and remember it as being fairly decent.
