Authentic, delicious Korean food. Im never on this side of town but man, I really loved this place. I had delicious beef soup, Kai bi, and omg the fried chicken was out of this world. Honestly, I could eat 100 of them. The crisp melted in your mouth and hundreds of flavor molecules just burst onto your tongue. Mmmmmm

The food at Tov Tofu is so delicious and authentic. I love visiting. My daughter and I shared a japchae and I got the spicy pork and she got the kimchi chigae. We definitely had leftovers that were delicious the next day.
Very nice dinner. Wife and I had a pair of Bibimbap. Mine was delicious, just not as spicy as I had hoped. Wait staff were friendly, helpful, and patient with a couple first timers. Decor was pleasant enough. We are definitely going to have to come back.
When I walked in the atmosphere was very calming. The lady who waited us was very kind. It was my first time coming here. Our food was brought to us about 5-10 min after we ordered. Their food was very good in my opinion. The seafood tofu soup was great. Their sushi was also good. I really recammend coming here !!!!
We had a reservation but there was no table available at the time. So we had to wait for a table which was unpleasant because it was very cold outside and there was nowhere to sit inside to wait except at the bar which was closed.The service was very slow yet the food was very good and high-quality and tasty. Otherwise I would have given this a four-star review.The restaurant design is bad and is not necessarily meant to be functioning as a restaurant. There are two entryways into the building and it made for an awkward entrance and exit for people as well as it let the cold air in from outside very often.
Weve gotten bibimbop here for years! Its the best in town. Good portions. Great traditional pickled vegetables before the meal. Quiet and tasty.

I have been to many Korean restaurants over forty years since taking Martial Arts. This is definitely one of the Best and most authentic Korean restaurants I have dinned. Just discovered this place a few days ago. I moved here from Baltimore. I see many lunches and dinners here in the future! 🏆

This place is literally so delicious. No complaints and very sweet waitress. This place is family owned and very authentic! Totally recommend the tofu stew, Seafood pancake, bulgogi, and the dumplings.
I enjoy the food here regularly. Have a cup of the corn tea when you go and try all the side dished that come with the entrees, theyre fantastic. The bibimbap is delicious and so is the soft tofu soup. Together they make a great combination to split with someone. I also recommend the teriyaki salmon. It comes out on a hot cast iron plate thats covered with sizzling sliced onions that perfume the fish. Tov Tofu is a really unique spot in Santa Rosa. They make really tasty Korean food. Im really glad theyre here when Im craving some kimchee and bibimbap.
The only Korean dining worth its salt in SR. Try the tofu soup! It comes bubbling hot and they drop in tye egg right in front of you. Itll tear your wig back. You can tell every meal is made with passion and care.

My husband tried the Korean Fried Chicken, able to split two flavors (no extra charge), chicken natural not previously frozen, tasted crispy from being over cooked vs fried well, reheated upon order as it was barely warm enough actually more cold than hot, and the sauce was very sweet.Tofu soup was sizzling and interesting, had beef, a few thin slivers of beef (not enough), lots of veggies, egg dropped in with some tofu.Service extremely friendly and patient answering my questions. Clean too!

2023-09-01 14:25:59First, let me start off with the only downside of my visit. I understand inflation has hit everyone, but the portion size vs. price of the item was off.Now the positives. When we arrived we were instantly greeted with a friendly smile. After being seated, it was a very short wait for our waitress to come to our table.Our drinks came out immediately and our appetizer showed up not long after. We ordered the fried mandu (dumplings/potstickers). They were beautifully golden brown and came with a nice dipping sauce. It also came with a mini salad (lettuce and dressing) which I loved the taste of the dressing.The main course came out pretty quickly after we had eaten the dumplings. We ordered the daeji bulgogi (spicy pork) which is served sizzling hot over a bed of onions. I was underwhelmed by the amount you get for the $23 price tag, but it still was enough for one petite person, not sure it would fill my husband or older daughter up. That being said the pork was tender, spicy, and piping hot. I happily burnt my mouth as I had been anticipating it all day.The ban chan was tasty, I wish there were a bit more variety. The kimchi was great, not sour like most restaurants served, which I loved that it wasnt. The cucumber kimchi was also tasty with just a hint of sweet. The other three were the fish cakes (they all taste the same to me, bean sprouts (again pretty basic) and a shredded potato (underwhelming). It would be nice to see some spicy shredded radish kimchi, danmuji, or even something like broccoli added to their ban chan. Just a note, they charge $1 per extra ban chan (refill) you want, which really isnt too unreasonable.Another thing, I wish they offered more rice to start with. I found thar my rice was almost gone when I still had a 4th of my spicy pork left. It just wasnt enough to enjoy with both the pork and the ban chan. I am sure you can ask for more at an extra charge.This is definitely not a budget friendly place, but none of the korean restaurants I have been to are.When we went to leave we were bid a friendly farewell by the family who runs this place. Not every korean restaurant has such friendly staff. I am half Korean and can say that I have been looked down at by some of them.Overall I do love this place, but as for my budget I might need to dine alone next time.

2023-03-22 20:18:16Too much sweetness to all the sauce. It’s a personal opinion but the sweetness don’t really elevate the sauce nor the sushi for me; the sweetness (sugar I presume) just taste like sugar separate from the sauce.
