Wow. The food here is so delicious and made with love. You can taste it! Vegan Stops is a family run to go spot that will not disappoint. It was a little confusing when we first arrived cuz they were using the main area of the restaurant for preparing food for the farmers market. But Mo was super kind and gave us samples to try, which helped us to decide the dishes we wanted to order. The food is filling, tasty, and fresh. Served with smiles! I wish I lived nearby ~ Id be here at least once a week! Great for getting prepped lunches for the week too. Highly recommend.

I would give this 5 starts many times over because the food and the service was amazing. Everything we ordered tasted great and you can tell it’s cooked with love.Please know to save your containers and bring them back as they are being reused, as there are a lot of single use plastics that went into our takeout.Ps. We were way too excited for this food and forgot to snap a photo before devouring.

Stopped by on my way to a trip for the weekend, looked up vegan around me and ended up here! As i walked in Moe greeted me, he was very generous and friendly. He Educated and informed me about their products, helped me decide my meal and even warmed it up for me! extremely happy with this hidden gem.they’re also available in various farmers markets! great place for a quick stop or a weekly meal prep which seems like i’m about to get on board with.thanks moe, i appreciate you!good luck to you, and god bless.

This is a great option for healthy plant based meals! They mostly sell at farmers markets. The staff is super knowledgeable and will help you out with all the options.Coming back to edit this review. The food is AMAZING. My favorites are the mushrooms and the green beans. The lentil soup is so flavorful, I highly recommend that as well. We tried a dozen of the menu items and everything was good! This place is an excellent choice for anyone looking to include more whole plant based foods. I will be ordering again!

I looked up Vegan Stop while staying nearby at Great Wolf Lodge and was sad to see the kitchen was marked as closed. I decided to walk by while picking up takeout nearby at Schwarma House and had the pleasure to met Mo and try a few dishes.Turns out they cook there every day and also sell at various farmer markets as well- so stop by and hope you’re as lucky as I was because DAMN!The artichoke potatoes were everything I hoped for and more - 10/10 huge chunks of artichoke hearts and maybe next time we’ll have enough self control to try it heated up first!Mo also generously gave us another dish to try that had grains and those thanksgiving style caramelized stringy onions and we’ll most definitely be picking up some more before we head out tomorrow!

Family owned business. Great atmosphere! Great food and great conversations we had with the owners!When we came into the shop, first thing they did was handing us samples! They were all perfect! And you could already taste the freshness of the products.Food is light and fresh and not greasy at all, which I think is really hard to find in the US.Overall best food I had in a really long time! Makes you feel like your sitting somewhere in the Middle East.Thanks to the people there that made us feel so extremely welcome.

Vegan Stops has unique, freshly cooked food from Syria and Egypt. It’s a family business and they are so friendly and welcoming! They offered food samples and the containers were piping hot and packed full in the morning when I stopped in. The lentil soup was light and delicious and the bulgur wheat dishes were hearty and warming on this fall day. They said they have about 10 dishes by noon and falafel about 3pm before they close at 5pm. Do stop by and Dillon, Sara, and the rest of the staff will treat you like family!

I’ve tried about ten dishes on their menu and each dish is better than the last. The sautéed spinach, chickpea salad, tabouli… all delicious and perfectly seasoned. The drive from Long Beach is almost 30 minutes but it’s well worth it. Not easy to find flavorful vegan food. So happy to have found this place.

Im not a vegetarian full time, but Id consider it if all my meals tasted like Vegan Stops. The meal was super fresh. I tried the Chick Pea Salad, Bulgur Wheat and Lentils with carmelized onions, and spinach. All the dishes tasted great, and will be back for seconds in the near future!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was in the same plaza and saw this Vegan shop. Intrigued by it, so I stopped by just to look at this restaurant and the menu. Didnt order anything today but will definitely return to try their dishes. All Mediterranean Vegan dishes. Bulgar and lentils are some of the ingredients in the menu. They have salad, soup and other dishes too.

I decided to come try this place out because of the reviews on google and I am glad I did. I had the lentl pasta and lentil soup. As soon as I ate the pasta in my car I immediately when back in for 3 more of the same pastas to take home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious and nutritious plant based meals. I will be back.

We buy every week our dishes for a full week. I am highly allergic and react to almost everything, but not to these. I love every single dish (we tried them all). Clean ingredients and super flavorful. Mo, the owner, is such a nice guy. We buy ours at the farmer’s markets in Laguna Beach, Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

The staff is very friendly and they let you sample the items. It isnt eat in, you get the food to go and heat it at home. I met Moe and his Vegan Stops at the South Pasadena Farmers Market (Thursdays in the mid afternoon until sundown). I am not even vegan or vegetarian so for many weeks, I passed right by without bothering. However, one day I decided to stop and pick up some babaganoush because I love that stuff and I also love saying babaganoush. Moe let me know I could pick up three dishes for a three dollar savings. Well, I already thought his price without the discount was stellar so I was sold! I tried the cauliflower with tahini, the eggplant with some sauce and I think red bell peppers and the hummus. Moe threw in a few extras for me since I was a first time customer. I am now a regular! What I do is I pick up 4-5 dishes and I eat it throughout the week during work-from-home days. It keeps me in the safe zone and not snacking on junk. The containers are freezer-friendly and also microwave safe. What a bonus! I feel so gut-good after a meal from vegan stops.And what is SO special about Moe in particular is that I lost sight of my young daughter while I was about the market. Moe spotted her and realized she was lost; he walked her to the information booth at the Farmers Market and waited there with her until I found them. WOW!! MEAL PREP DONE RIGHT! I stumbled across them at a farmers market and it changed my life! Considering the cost of groceries right now, this is really an affordable, convenient way to eat healthy. I do regular bulk orders and freeze half. They defrost/ reheat in the microwave easily and the containers are returnable. I mix with salad or tofu or just eat by itself (it’s all you really need for a whole food plant based diet - beans, veggies, grains).It’s cooked fresh, local, and is a DELICIOUS VARIETY. I never get bored because it’s something different every day - personally, I could never cook that way so this is truly special. Very kind people and responsive on Instagram. 10/10 recommended to try something at their shop/ farmers market pop ups! My favorites are the bulgur dishes, lentil soup, chickpea salad, lentil pasta, pita with hummus/ salsa and falafel!

My wife initially found this place when she was out walking with the baby. She was passing through the strip mall and noticed really good smells coming from this restaurant. She told me about it and we decided to give it a try. The staff was very friendly, and even texted me their extended menu because it wasn’t available yet on yelp. We tried 8 of their dishes and they were all very fresh and tasty, especially the bulgur and lentil pilaf with onions. We will definitely be back for more!

Words can’t express how much I love his food and wait for Saturday mornings to get out of bed. I was having terrible stomach issues and this food actually healed me. I was able to eat again after being on liquids for a week. The owner is one of the most hard working individuals I have ever met. I support small businesses and feel honored to support his. I tried them out at the Farmers Market in Mar Vista- The guy working there always gives great deals- shoutout to him (apologies I dont know your name)!The Caramelized onions w/ Bulgar & the Dal are extremely tasty. Love thats it vegan & made fresh the early morning before. Looking forward to trying out more- all their items look great- like the beans, falafel, and would like to check out their specially brought in bakhlava.I dont have to worry about cross contamination during preparation (w/ non veg items) so I can purchase without hesitation. What a wonderful surprise to find this food booth at our local Farmers Market. Ive tried 5 of their dishes and theyre all wonderful. The pumpkin stew is my favorite so far. I was in town for a conference and eating takeout was making me feel ill and sluggish, especially because I have a gluten and dairy sensitivity. I found Vegan Stops while searching for food that was both good and good for me, and not only did they have a selection of foods I could actually eat, the family who runs it is so warm, generous, and hospitable. Genuine Authentic middle eastern, and Mediterranean cuisine. I have tried the food more then a few times already, never disappointing, always fresh with only the best ingredients used.
