As far as a WaBa Grill is concerned... This one is lacking the WaBa love that others have... The WaBa in Temecula, makes this one look like it is a knock-off. The service here was slow and lacking personality. The decor was boring and bland. Like mentioned before, WaBa in other locations have surf/beach theme with music playing to match... Not this place. Food was OK. Not real flavorful and seemed to need more sauce to enjoy it than I would have liked to use. Im not critical, just honest with the 3 stars. Not like some who use a one star with a not so great visit... Just not impressed. Not worth the money. I will drive out of my way to visit other locations that have better service, decor and food.

I normally dont like to post negative reviews unless absolutely necessary. I dont have time to waste. But today was just terrible. I already think Waba Grill is pricey, but they really did me dirty today. Look at my picture, mostly rice and a few pieces of protein. Plus paid an additional $3 for avocado. I paid $15 for a bowl of rice. Do not go to this waba grill. Plus the cashier is also the server.

It was okay. I threw on the avocado from home and it made it better but the chicken portion was extremely skimpy, 75% was rice. There was no sauce on the chicken and rice, it was my first time here, and I suppose I dont know how to order it? Yeah right, its a standard Yoshis, teriyaki, fast Asian place. I just dont understand how this is $13. If youre like me and camping out of a hotel room, this is better than a can of beans and tuna packets. Just not much bang for your buck.Edit: I contacted the WaBa customer service and they never replied, I decided to give this place another go anyways. The portion was way better, night, and day difference. I also realized that you need to put your own sauce on, oh, okay. They forgot the spicy carrot/jalapeno mix, but I know they arent robots. Overall, a fast and healthy option.

Good good with good friendly and quick service. The place is clean although this particular shopping center needs some updating. You arent too far from Disneyland but far enough to see that the tourist are probably not heading this way from their hotels.

I was called in for an interview at this location. Let me just start off by saying he is/was so unprofessional. It was unbelievable. Worst experience that can happen to someone. I was not welcome or he didn’t even introduced himself. I been interviewed before and this had been the worst. I was told to come in Wednesday, June 31 at 9:30am for the interview. I even got there way before and I was waiting there for a while. It was passed 10:00 am and yet no “interview” and he wasn’t even in the restaurant. Once he got there he didn’t even interview me how it was supposed to and made the whole situation bad. He just got up and left without saying anything. I hope your children or grandkids never go through this. What goes around comes around. Such a horrible person if you weren’t having such a good morning you could of just reschedule. I am glad I won’t be working here. Such a horrible experience. Even the workers in the front looked shock of the way he managed the situation. If I could give 0 star I would.

Possibly the best teriyaki place in LA. I admit that I haven’t been to all of them, but the teriyaki sauce here is spot on to Hawaiian style teriyaki. Sweet, savory, with ponzu style flavor. Only flavor missing was a hint of ginger.I ordered the Teri beef and chicken combo. Chicken was tender, beef was slightly overcooked - but it still was tender. Service was friendly and order came out fast.

Person at the counter seemed bothered to be asked questions. My food looked like it was the scraps scraped off the cutting board. Every table needed to be wiped down and most had things on them. I watched one guy wait for ten minutes until someone helped him.

Wow. Fantastic service! I went here at freaking 10 PM, and asked for 2 FAMILY MEALS!!! And they made them, 1 hour before closing! 4 containers of rice, 2 of protein, and veggies. It was plenty of food for 8 people (we had delicious leftovers), it was at a good price, and it was very good. 10/10, would suggest! No cap, for real, on God.

I was skeptical at first because when i entered it was just empty with just 1 other lady waiting for her take away at the counter. Had the WaBa with Veggies Bowl. Gross, figured I’d give it a shot due to everywhere else being super busy. Oh man, did i regret going to this place. The steak that should be soft and juicy was instead old, hard and crunchy, the chicken wasn’t good either same as the steak. Veggies where barley cooked almost raw and rice was waaaaaaaay overcooked and old. I would not recommend eating here, unless you have a death wish or an iron belly that can handle luke warm trash. I threw my food in the garbage.

Food was alright. Pricing was alright. The lady servicing us was really rude though, and it seemed to us as though she disliked us for not speaking Spanish immediately. We (my mother and I) walked in and right off the bat she started looking at us like we were just some random homeless people. I assumed itd be alright to charge my phone there (my fault for assuming) and she rudely exclaimed that I couldnt. Rather than politely explaining anything to me, she yelled YOU CANT CHARGE HERE at me and when I asked why, she didnt answer and instead brushed me off. My mom didnt like the way the lady glared at us while we waited for the other members of our party to arrive (we were a bit earlier than them and didnt want to eat without them), so she quickly ordered some food for herself, thinking maybe the issue was because we had walked in and not ordered anything. We hadnt seen her interact with anyone else and assumed that was just her personality or maybe she had had a bad day. But when the other members of our party showed up (speaking spanish), she was immediately polite to them. That told me instantly it was just us that she didnt like, and it wasnt like we had even done anything to deserve that. I ordered after the others, and she smiled at every one of them except me. As soon as I walked up to the register her smile faded and she went back to the glare. Later, when I went to the restroom, the door said vacant so I walked in. But she was in there cleaning. And rather than saying sorry Im cleaning or something polite (like usual customer service responses) she yelled I AM CLEANING and slammed the door. I dont usually file complaints about people or businesses, and this is my first time. Id also like to note that, rather than dramatizing anything, I actually toned it down a bit for this review. She didnt say anything super harsh, but was rude to us nonetheless. I was just so disappointed by her attitude that I couldnt help but write this review. She definitely could have acted in a more polite and professional manner.

I do like Waba Grill but I dont like this particular restaurant. They do need to improve their sanitation/cleaning/hygienes as well as their customer service. When I walked in, the person in charge of the front counter was cleaning and wiping the tables. The others in the kitchen saw me waiting to be served but nobody else came over to help me as they were busy too. I waited patiently for a couple of minutes and finally the cleaning gal came inside serve me. At this point, I told her to please sanitize or clean her hands first because I know she will be touching my food.She gave me a negative attitude and replied she was using gloves. I told her its still unsanitary because her gloves have been contaminated with chemicals and who knows what else. She had to touch those gloves to remove them from her hands so her hands have been exposed to them too. This was also inappropriate because this not a courteous or best way to serve your customers. I was very grossed out and disturbed by it all. She should have washed his or her hands or sanitized her hands first before serving food to others, especially when a customer politely asks them to do so. Its not only good hygienes and sanitation but its also good manners. I decided to walk out. The manager and staff members there should be more attentive about hygienes and sanitation as do everyone else, especially during this pandemic.I never had to deal with this at Panda Express or PF Changs. Hasnt anybody learned anything from this pandemic? They should know better or receive better training from their leaders. Good hygiene and sanitation is very important and should be one of the things people need to learn from covid. Maybe thats one of the reasons why our country has the most death rates in the world from covid and its still climbing. It is so humiliating for our great country to go through this because of the constant brain washing influence from Trump and his incompetent, careless, heartless, selfish, foolish, ignorant, and deceitful leadership and terror. Either people are too ignorant to understand or they refuse to understand the reality of the pandemic due to their blind loyalty because they have decided to listen and follow the wrong leader. That does not help anybody as it has already been demonstrated very clearly in the past 2 years. I suggest they all go to the hospitals and see the many severe illnesses and deaths from covid per day, and maybe they can finally open their minds and eyes to the reality of it all. Perhaps, they need to see somebody they love be a serious victim of covid and they can finally see the truth for themselves.

I was craving rice so bad,I saw this place smh I wish I could get my money back. The rice was some mushy,I asked for veggies instead of that little baby salad portion they gave and still got the baby salad anyway. Veggies werent seasoned at all but the veggies was cooked perfectly. The shrimp was cooked fine but was almost flavorless and the chicken was ok. The dumplings needed to be cooked a lot longer and they would of tasted a lot better.

I walked up, there was a sign that says for all credit transactions there gonna check ID. I used credit to pay and no one checked my ID. Told cashier and she was stunned and didn’t know what to say. Chicken was chewy tasted like rubber. Gross tbh. I asked for the manager however he “goes to multiple stores” Rice was watery and I mentioned my concerns to staff and she didn’t even apologize.

I come here a lot great food but their has been a few incidences when I order for pick up after 9:30pm I order beef veggie brown rice bowl and I am charged for a beef veggie bowl and leave the store get home and see I was given a chicken bowl. It is a short walk from our place. There is off- street parking. We had veggie Bowls one shrimp and one chicken. Plenty of meat and fresh veggies. I had brown rice which is very well done. The seasoning is teriyaki sauce on the meat which you can stir with the veggies. They run about $12 a meal for lunch with some specials much less.

We go to Waba grill quiet often. My kids love it. Food is pretty healthy and tasty. I would say as a fast food is is way much better than burgers.You can choose chicken, beef or fish with rice or veggies and sause. So you can construct any set you like.

Love me some WaBa Grill alway get the half & half beef & chicken bowl with my veggies on the side everything perfectly cooked the teriyaki sauce thick just right & the rice so good i can eat it by it self you got to try it. The staff whos name is Orlando. Hes so nice and very helpful person. Helping people that cant afford to eat smart and healthy food like waba grill. I was very impressed. I ordered the Waba combo plate, miso and potstickers. Both of the sauces on offer-weba sauce (like a teriyaki sauce) and the spicy sauce (like sriracha sauce) were really tasty and the chili sauce that came with the potstickers, yum!

Is the only waba that does not give bags for the ingredients. The nice girl gave me a small glass and the manager of the morning shift saw her and then went to scold her I felt uncomfortable and for me is not good. The food dishes are expensive and they barely give you food...and whenever I order a salad I always lack something😒...I think the crazy chicken is better...and as for the staff if they dont serve to have a good attitude With customers, they quit their job...That there are many people outside wanting to have a job opportunity and with a good attitude...Now I see why the restaurant is almost always empty because they have lousy service 👎

The cashier is very despotic, rude in the way of serving the customer, also the salad in the chicken teriyaki dish is of poor quality, the rice is reheated and the fruit is very bad, the orange is very bad service, the waba grill in Ontario is much better than it is local. Terrible and lousy place to go eat. 🤮
