I have been here several times because Im working in the area and every time I come its a terrible experience. This time was the worst i asked for jalapenos and they were bad. They were oozing gelatin i dont know how to describe it. Obviously were expired. The toilets flusher was not working. No toilet paper. Their rice portions were very rationed and they never changed there jalapeno portions from those little cups in my last review. Their fountain drink machine was spraying water all over. Oh they didnt throw away the container of jalapenos you think they would but didnt. Check your food if you do come here . Only reason i come here is because im health consious of what i eat but makes me think twice.

The food and service were good. Lets get that out of the way. BUT you can make this at home with a rice cooker (which will steam veggies while the rice cookes), one pan for meat, and a $5 bottle of thickened sweet soy sauce straight out of the jar. If you want spicy add red pepper flake. It takes the rice longer to cook than to put this VERY simple concept together at home.

Please whatever you do, don’t come to this location. Always something wrong or it takes literally forever for them to make a simple bowl. Recent experience, today, ordered online, asked for my food, told me that it should be ready, I’m looking at my food that was already done. She then asked me again and little did I know, my food was literally sitting there getting cold after I just told her I’m here to pick up an order. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but don’t come to this location no matter what time of day.

Although the girl who took our order was very nice, my chicken salad was awful. The chicken was all dark meat and grizzle. I was unable to eat it and was very disappointing.

Stopped in on our way to Big Bear. My husband and I wanted a quick bite to eat that wasnt typical fast food faire. This was a pleasant surprise as we had never heard of this franchise let alone have eaten in one. It was definitely refreshing to see the healthier offerings on the menu, and no one asking do you want fries with that?I had a chicken bowl with rice and vegetables, my husband had the steak bowl. Both of us enjoyed our food. The wait wasnt too long. The food was well cooked and seasoned, and most importantly it didnt sit in our guts like a big stone when we were done.The restaurant itself was clean and kept up. Tables were wiped down and nothing was waiting on the chair to attach itself to the bottom of my pants.Will be putting this franchise on our list of places to look out for when were out and about.

They screwed up my order, I got 2 chicken bowls and I ordered 2 steaks bowls. They were tepid at best. They were light on veggies and had no cabbage. They had run out and failed to mention it. My bowl had 2 carrot slices and 4 broccoli pieces.The 2 young men were more interested in talking than working. I cant reccomend this location.

Ever since new management took over, every experience coming here is upsetting. As usual a long wait time, workers sweating, & barely any chicken!! ALL RICE!Prices event went up... I go to the waba in Redlands & get a 2 for $10 bowl loaded with chicken.

Just sat down ordered a few kids chicken bowls a waba chicken and steak bowl and a kids steak. The steak was bad, it was nasty. The meat tasted very bad, I even approached the staff on duty and explained that the steak really tasted bad. I didnt ask for anything free or even a refund, but I expressed to Alex E. Who was the employee on the receipt that the steak is bad and needs to be addressed before someone gets sick. The employees apologized and said thank you, but continued to sell the same meat. They ignored everything I made them aware of. The rotten meat taste is so bad it wont leave my mouth. This waba grill should be shut down before someone gets sick.

Half and half veggie with brown rice, green onion, white meat chicken, and half an avocado on top. I get this every time and they never disappoint. Ive tried other meals and they always seem lacking in body and flavor. I eat here all the time and just realized I never reviewed the place. Thanks Highland Waba crew!

Stopped here because it was conveniently located off a 210 exit. The place definitely has a lot more sauces and seating than most Waba Grills in Los Angeles. But the service here was disappointing. The girl at the register (Indian descent?), who took a good 5 minutes to ask what I wanted after the last customer, was so preoccupied with other people that she didnt even look at me when asking if I wanted onions. Also the chicken in my bowl was burned and tasted bad. On to the next!

Very hit and miss, the last couple of times i went they the brown rice was under cooked and for the price the portions were very small. Weve been waiting for a healthy place like this in our neighborhood..we finally get one and what a disappointment....who ever owns this place better wake up soon, our theyll be closing the doors. I know i wont be back, Ive given them several chances and havent seen any changes so Im done.

I got a chicken bowl to-go here last week. Fifteen minutes later when I arrived home, I sadly had to throw out my entire meal. The small amount of chicken on top of the rice was the poorest quality that I have ever seen...dark, fatty, and grisly. When I pushed it aside and tried the rice, it was too hot to even eat. Obviously this was microwaved, left-over from the previous day. I am not in the food industry, but I am sure that I heard somewhere that re-heating rice is dangerous. If this place is cutting corners to save a few pennies on rice, it is obviously time to shut the doors. (Sadly, this place used to be pretty good).

Love Waba Grill (but love tereyaki). Brown rice with chicken and veggies is great. Love the fresh vegetables & how easy it is to customize an order, as well as calling in order ahead of pick up. Portion size is very generous - kids meal is plenty big for an adult lunch. Employees are quick and efficient, so do not let a long line discourage you.

Passed my number 3 times, ordered the salmon plate. $12 dollar lunch, I splurged, trying to be simi healthy about it plus I was just hungry. Turns out it was my offices code acronym FDCF!!! Fake Disgusting Cardboard Food. All male crew, rude, not even getting it that they were totally messing up. Just blank stupid stares. Even the 3 people that went in front of me were annoyed. I think I tried waba a few years ago and felt the same way, and now its fresh again... I will not forget!!! You took my 12 dollars!!!!
