I love this place I come here often to get a quick bite. I usually call ahead and they have my order ready by the time I arrive. The staff is always friendly anf the food is amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you want good teriyaki at a good price.

I ordered beef plate, small chicken bowls and gyoza. Small bowls are enough food to fill you up. I like the salad in the beef plate, it comes with a vinaigrette. The oranges are a refreshing end to the meal. It’s a lot of food for a great price. It’s a new family favorite. Also customer service is great, always friendly and doing their best to make your experience great.

I ordered a Large Beef Veggie Bowl as part of the group order we did at the workplace. The portions were massive - Plenty of cabbage, plenty of rice, and plenty of beef. I drizzled the teriyaki sauce across the beef and veggies. The one thing that I had issues with was that the meat was dry, but the teriyaki sauce helped with managing the dryness (This is where they lost a star).I look forward to the opportunity to try them out again and taste the other proteins they have.- Ronald A.R. Yamas used to be one of our fav fast food places and we have even recommended to friends about this place (owner Chloe used to know us by names too). Unfortunately, although service was good, the food was a disappointment today. Ordered a lunch take out of small chicken teriyaki/veggies plate & 6 pieces gyoza. Chicken were all small pieces, dry and overcooked, the steam broccoli & cabbage were fishy taste, the gyozas also were over fried and crunchy!Too bad that food is no longer as good as it used to be. Sorry!

It’s not fancy but the food was delicious. Chicken/beef combo plate with veggies. The crunch roll might have been one of the best I’ve ever had. This place blows away flame broiler, Yoshinoya, etc.It’s tucked back in the corner in an older shopping plaza so I hope enough people find out about it to keep them going.

If youre looking for a good chicken teriyaki vegetable bowl, come here, but sit at the tables in the sun. There is outside seating, (Dog-friendly) but its in the shade-which is great unless youre easily cold, like me. Theres also a BEAUTIFUL painting here - see picture.Prices are reasonable and the staff was very cheerful and friendly. Bathrooms were clean, and had lots of signs with smiley faces.

Bought a double salmon plate and chicken plate. Thoroughly disappointed. While the owner was trying to make a tik tok video, the frozen two pieces salmon were left to smoke and turned charred pieces of rubber. They took the chicken out that was previously cooked and stored in a plastic container and put it into the plate. Gross.Next.

Love this place!! I dont know what it is about their grilled chicken but it is so tasty! Other places the chicken is not grilled, just mushy. I get the chicken plate and eat it in 2 days, you get a lot for your money!

Staff and owner are so nice and kind! I hear amazing things about the kimchi, Im in love with the bowls and California roll. The California roll is ordered every time with my chicken bowl. I highly recommend trying it out, as its not dinky and great in flavor

The food was delicious, very filling for a great price and they have various sauces on the tables. One thing that was odd is that when you walk in there is a menu, but when you start looking around the place, the whole restaurant is a menu so look out for that. The service was awesome, there was a lady who greeted us with kindness and she brought our food to us and asked if we needed anything like jalapenos or more sauces, and her hospitality made the experience overall even better. Great place, would come again.

Good quick service. Tasty food.If you go in with no expectations then you will probably have a good experience. I usually get the chicken plate to-go and enjoy it at home.They have a very large painting in the restaurant that is interesting to look at.

Dont show up at opening and expect to eat. The employees arrived 5 minutes after posted opening time. Add the time to prep and cook from a cold kitchen and we would not have had time to eat our lunch. The food could be wonderful, but we didnt get to try it. Be better Yamas, but dont expect us to come back or recommend you.

Great place for lunch especially if you only have 8 bucks in your pocket.Daily specials from 11-3, most under 7 bucks and are freshly made to order. How can you say no? Because you want jack in the box thats why!!! You go eat that garbage and hate yourself, Ill be here enjoying the freshness of my beef & chicken bowl. Dont be shy with that Sriracha sauce, its the nectar of the gods. True story.Anyway, if youre in the need of a quick and healthy lunch, then yamas is the ticket!

Ohhhhhhhh dang!! This Teriyaki is the shiz! Mama Yamas Homemade Teriyaki sauce was god tier. Just enough to give the meal flavor, but not so much that the Teriyaki overpowered the rest of the flavors. Sooooo tasty. The portions are also great for the price. You leave with that perfect balance of full and happy. The service was also wonderful. I highly recommend giving it a try.

The bowls are cheap for the price you pay (7.70 for chicken/beef bowl with drink at lunch and only a $1 more for large) and its some of the best teriyaki in town. The mother makes the teriyaki sauce herself and its amazing! They have salmon and shrimp too just in case you want something other then chicken and beef.

At first I was disappointed about the $1 surcharge from brown rice in my chicken bowl. I let the cashier know I get this free elsewhere and I likely wont be back. She said Ill hook you up this time...and after you taste my Moms teriyaki recipe...you WILL be back. Dont you hate it when theyre right? LOL I WILL BE BACK. ha ha ha Definitely a home made flavor in the sauce and rice. This place is stellar. OUTSTANDING.
