2023-03-24 19:59:47I got the poke salad and a california roll. While i waited i went to the restroom and it was disgusting. It made me worry about the environment my food was being prepared in. The kitchen door across from restroom was open and the floors did look dirty. When i opened the poke salad i was very pleasantly surprised. Much bigger and totally not what i expected. The fish wasnt the best but it was edible. I ate most of it. Then came the california roll, which i shouldnt have ordered bc the salad was enough and that lunch cost me $25 for those two things! Way more than i was expecting to spend. The california roll was terrible. In fact i forced myself to ear maybe 3 or 4 pieces and threw the rest away. The pieces were huge, they fell apart and just didnt taste good.

2021-05-31 14:14:31This establishment is okay. Nothing fancy or extravagant. Sushi rolls were good. This may sound like an odd complaint, but the roll was cut into very big pieces which makes it very difficult and awkward to eat. The eel sauce also came with spicy mayo mixed into it. I would have preferred if the two sauces came separately.

2022-09-08 17:17:54I guess this place isn’t what it used to be. The sushi rice was overcooked and mushy. The sushi pieces were too big and fell apart before you could even bring it to your mouth. Taste was grocery store level, and the bathroom was absolutely nasty.

2021-10-07 19:21:08Taste was good, the sauce made it a perfect level of sweet.Felt there was too much panko though. When I removed the excess panko the roll wasn’t even a full roll, the rice didn’t connect so you had to really squish it for it to stay together. The spider roll just wasn’t enjoyable it was 4 giant rolls instead of regular size 8 rolls, so they don’t fit in your mouth to enjoy all the ingredients.

2018-05-24 19:03:36First appearance is an little deceiving. No conveyer belt fast service but a sit down next to corona Mexican banner. Glasses reading “bonjour” and Japanese lanterns. Sapporo, Asahi, bud light, corona signs I think the restaurant is confused about what it wants to be. Once you come in your welcome with friendly service and surprised not to wait to long for food. All Japanese sushi, tonkatsu, chirashi bowls, hand-rolls, etc. I ordered the hand-roll sushi combo. The chef pick an array of fish and it was worth the 13.99 price!Eel, fatty tuna, salmon.. all fresh. Hand-rolls rice, avocado, imitation crab all fairly fresh and in good amount! Even their ginger was the real deal and no the store bought stale. Would recommend if your looking for decent quality food for the price. Again only tried the sushi. I had a shrimp tempura hand roll which I think the tempura could have more crunch but it wasn’t reheated. Thanks for the experience! Recommend if you want to spend a little more then conveyer belt to get better quality sushi

2022-05-09 08:45:31Sushi was good about 3 yrs ago. I recently came here with my son after his soccer game and it was very disappointing. They have become super lazy, they no longer serve sushi on the little boats or plates anymore, they just use disposable containers but yet overcharge. Oh, and I must say, the restroom is the filthiest Ive ever been to.

2023-01-16 01:27:36The best sushi I ever had. I love going to this establishment whenever I crave sushi. They have the best sushi along with wide range of other menu items which are a must try. The owners are so nice and friendly. The service is fast and efficient. I would recommend anyone who love sushi to please give this place a try. It’s truly a hidden gem in Santa Ana, in the heart of Orange County in California.
