The price is extremely high! Tofu soup only have beef size like booger, shrimp is dry shrimp. Barely have protein. It’s in us not in Korea, I don’t understand $18 can’t got me some real meat? And there is no service too. Don’t come here

The food was okay and thats not what Im going to talk about today. The service was horrible. The waitresses treated us like we were not there. No water or tea was served. Had to call them to come back to us to take the order. When the food was ready, they basically dumped a boiling hot stone soup in front of my 2 year old boy. I dont know whats going on with them. I understand that it could be stressful to help all the customers during the dinner time but they are lacking some basic customer service skills and common sense.

This place is stuck in a corner but its because this place is like a hidden gem. I had pork bbq tofu soup combo for $27.99 (if Im correct). I ordered Kimchi Tofu soup spicy. I also ordered Korean style sweet rice drink called 식혜.The servers were really kind in the midst of their business. The kimchi tofu soup was amazing. I highly recommend this place.

I ordered a BBQ/tofu soup combination and a full-size tofu soup, both soups with eggs in. It turned out they gave me two half-size soups without eggs. This actually happened to me the second time, so I have to leave a comment to let people know - Don’t order takeout from this restaurant!

Easy lot parking.Came with a group so thankfully we can by 6pm on a Sunday as it filled up quick soon after that.Plenty of choices. Food was decent. Not spectacular but pretty good. Plenty of side dishes which is part of the reason I go eat at Korean restaurants.#1 Tofu soup- very little beef and shrimp meat. A few clams. Enjoyed it with rice and the included fried fish though too many bones to manage.Bibimbap- this is good if you want veggies. My partner wanted more meat.

We ended up not eating here because it was a busy Friday night and we had a large party, but the fact that it was busy and recommended by several locals is a good sign. The menu looked exciting and I cant wait to try it. The staff there was very friendly!!

Came here around 7pm on a Wednesday night. Not too packed, we were seated right away and served hot tea. After 10 minutes the waitress came and took our order. Service and food was good. Will be coming back.

Food is lacking in portion size in comparison to cost. The people running the restaurant charge more money then their food is worth and they also dont have a cash payment discount as many places often do. Best reccomendation find another location to have your korean food at unless you have money to blow in which case goto a different restaurant like French Laundry which costs about as much and has still small portions.

Foods are on the salty side for us; both the main dishes as well as the free sides! We had to drink lots of water to balance it out! Service is so so; we had to ask to refill the tea and water; waiters didn’t come by to check on us! There are two free sides dishes my daughter really like so she asked for refill 2 times but the waiter said no more refill, this was the last one, okie! This was kinda of upsetting!

A hidden gem placed in a dead plaza! The food is absolutely delicious. I got the yukgejang (a spicy beef soup) and the soondubu. I definitely would recommend both. My friend got the dolsot bibimbap which looked sooooo yummy!! Will definitely try that next time. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big. For korean food, its actually relatively cheap. Aside from the food, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I will 100% be coming again soon.

I had lunch here with my sister. I ordered a few dishes to share with her. The ding jang jigae had a nice flavor, and I was hoping for a deeper fermented flavor, but overall it was tasty. The dolsot bimbimbap was good. I have never been offered sesame oil with it, but it works. The ban chan was plentiful and delicious. If Im in the area, Ill go back.

The food wasn’t bad, but the service wasn’t good. I’ve worked in the food industry before & I would never have treated customers so rudely. I went out to eat with someone & I mentioned I didn’t like hot sauce, so she called one of the workers over and tried to say “we don’t like the hot sauce so could we have soy sauce please?” but she was quickly spoken over halfway through with something like “don’t touch the hot sauce then, leave it!” & then the worker stormed away. We were given attitude from the very start. Our waters weren’t refilled even once, among other little things.. not sure if the waitress was being overworked, but this is no way to treat customers.

Picked this place at random and boy am I glad! Got the seafood ramen and it checked every box: there was a generous amount of seafood in it (squid, whole prawns, mussels), it tasted great, and there was *much* more than expected...Im a fairly small person so YMMV, but I got 3, 3.5 delicious meals out of it. Kimchi was great, too.I cant speak to ambiance/service. Ordered as takeout, wandered around the square a bit, picked it up and left. Will definitely go here again. One note on the spicy level, their mild is true mild, gentle warmth. Ill probably go medium next time.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant simply because of their spicy BBQ chicken item. The meat is tender, flavorful and sits in a bed of grilled onions. Ill order this dish every time I get lunch here for either dine in or take out. They have a big variety of Korean dish to choose from their menu.This is located in the back of a small shopping center right next to a Montessori. There is always plenty of parking spots. Staff is always nice and attentive.

Go to spot for Korean tofu soup and stews!Update from original post 6 months ago...My updated review is not based on the food, but rather on how the owner chooses to conduct himself in his restaurant, therefore lowering my 4 star rating to 2.Was here with my two young children and this is a place that we used to frequent on a bi-monthly basis for more than 4 years. The last time we were here for dinner, and as usual all of the food was very tasty and service was good.One thing I like to point out is that the male owner tends to bring in a lot of his friends. They have dinner & drinks and have a good time. We have nothing against that! But this last time, they were so loud and obnoxious, that it disrupted the rest of the restaurant. I noticed that my kids and other patrons would look over at them in disbelief of their behavior, example loud outbursts of laughter and screaming with fists pounding on the table continuously! Our table was just beside theirs, and when I looked over at the owner, he just stared me down and continued on with his friends unapologetically. As I mentioned, I was a regular patron of this restaurant, so he clearly recognizes me!If you run a nice restaurant, then conduct it in that manner. However, if you want to open up a bar, then dont run an establishment where families gather. I was so unimpressed and turned off, that we will no longer will be returning.

Our best and preferred Korean food in town. My wife and I are regular here when we craving for Bulgogi. The portion is nice for two people. The damage was less than $30 for us so Im not complaing. Think can get crazy so get there before dinner, let said around 5pm and you should be all right.

The reason I gave them one star is due to their terrible service. We ordered a stew and waited for 45 minutes before they gave us our food while the four tables that came after us got served their food very quickly. When we asked them why our food wasn’t being prepared, they told us a excuse and preceded to give us our food, which tasted terrible and hastily made.

I was craving for Soon tofu soup and this restaurant really hit the spot with their seafood tofu soup- incredibly soft silky smooth tofu.I ordered the stone hot bimbimbap that comes with tofu soup, we were pretty surprised that it came with clams and shrimp which was a nice surprise.They have quite a lot of side dishes compared to your typical Korean restaurant in the bay, all in all, a great experience. It is a casual place with lots of children.

A great spot if youre craving some Korean Tofu soup in the Dublin area. They have a variety of tofu soup options and you get to choose the spiciness level. I recommend going with a lower level spice. If its not enough, you can always ask for a little more spice to heat it up. The soup was flavorful and the tofu silky.Ive checked out this place for lunch and dinner and the quality was consistent. For dinner, you also get a fried fish in addition to all the other delicious sides. I will be back to try the other food options, but then again, their tofu soup calls to me.

Food was fine, but perhaps arriving at 845pm was not welcomed. We were given menu before sitting down and was expected to order immediately. We werent given any water and not even side refills. Had to ask for silverware for the kids, werent given the rice.... Rushed to get us the bill as soon as food was out... And rushed to pick up stuff and not once asked if we need anything - like water or silverware.. I walked out to get water from the car and brought in my own napkins... Dont think I will be going back.

Korean cuisine has become one of our favorites over the last few years and my sweetie is a tofu lover, so we were pleased to discover Young Dong Tofu House. Even more pleased when we tried it, we recently made our second visit and it confirmed that we have a new favorite local Korean restaurant. She raved about the tofu and mushroom soup and the banchan were some of the tastiest weve ever enjoyed. Even the usually boring raw broccoli was delightful with a subtle sweet and spicy dressing.My dumpling ramen was probably not the best possible choice - I guess the curly noodles made it ramen but the broth was red and spicy - delicious actually but unlike any ramen Ive ever had. And I only found one dumpling, maybe a second one falling apart in the bottom of the bowl. It was actually a tasty lunch but Ill go for a different part of the menu next time.Service was pleasant and quick and generous. We were forced to take refills of the banchan that we finished first.There are five levels of spice offered, we went medium on both our soups and agreed that we would probably go one lower next time.Were looking forward to taking friends next time we go.

Its so tasteless.. The contents are poor, the pajeon is only flour, and the soft tofu has only red pepper powder and no taste.. The meat is of low quality.. I dont want to go there again. Taste so bad. They use poor quality of ingredients. Never want to come back again. It tastes much better than just buying frozen food from the supermarket.
