Authentic Hunan Style noodle.I love the broth, nothing beats a bowl of hot noodle during the winter time.On top of the noodle, they have some authentic appetizers too, like pig egg, duck gizzards etc.The place is packed with people during lunch time .You are looking at about 20 per person.

Came here to try the noodles - the rice noodles were really nice. I think you can skip the toothpick rice if you preferred your beef a bit more tender and juicy. Looks to be a small family restaurant. For the price I think the portions were a little small, if you compare it to Guilin Noodles or other similar places in this area. But I enjoyed the noodles and would come back.

We ordered the egg noodles w pork belly strips and egg noodles w beef brisket. It was lovely, the noodles are creamy, the broth is good, I wish there were more meat, there was a lot of noodles; other than that, the meals didnt stand out too much for me.The space is a bit cramped and crowded.Overall, a lovely place to try out noodles!

I will be coming back. Had the vegetarian noodles - they where excellent. Small place that looks to be family own. Nice and quite even when slightly busy; probably because everyone is heads down slurping those good noodles! Best noodles in this area that Ive found.

Ordered stewed beef shank with rice noodle. Soup was pretty good and beef was good. Egg noodle version, which feels like ramen, has a bit more flavor. BTW, the chili sauce on the side of the table is quite spicy. Try it before you put that into your noodle.

Yum Noodles is perhaps one of the best Chinese noodle houses that understands that you dont need atmosphere to serve excellence. The soup base is definitely homemade due to the taste of star anise and fresh ground chili peppers. With a choice of rice or egg noodles your taste buds will thank you nonetheless when all the fresh ingredients hit them. Feeling brave, ask them to make it really spicy, and even though the spice is intense, you wont concentrate too much on the burn but rather youll be enjoying all the flavors at once. Yum noodles has definitely won a spot on my to go list for whenever I want something spicy and authentic.

Id say this place is a solid 3.5 stars. Rounding up for speed and convenience.Small joint where the tables fill up quickly, but they shuffle you in and out so you wont have to wait long.We got the small beef shank soup. Soups arrived maybe 2 minutes after ordering. This was good since I was starving.Broth has decent flavor but it was a tad too greasy for my liking. Noodles are overcooked and mushy, but I rarely find a good Asian noodle soup spot that doesnt do them this way. Whats up Bay Area? Even NY has figured this out! Otherwise the beef is decent and it did what I wanted. Warmed me up, filled me up.If Im in a hurry, this is a good spot.

I ordered the black rice. But it came as a soup. I mentioned to the lady that works there that I didnt want it and that I thought I was ordering rice. It was also sweet and had granulated Sugar at the bottom that I wasnt aware of. I told the worker I am a diabetic and cant have the soup. She told me she couldnt take it back and she made me pay for something I just tasted and didnt like/couldnt have. They didnt make it right. I wouldnt ever come here again.

I was supervised to hear this noodle restaurant, after living in the area for so long. At first I thought it’s just a random new restaurant that just come and go after a while. But after tried the dry rice noodles twice, I was deeply impressed by the quality and taste.This restaurant doesn’t have much option, mainly noodles with side dishes, but the quality is high enough for almost every dish I tried.I would definitely vote this as the top 3 rice noodle restaurants in the South Bay Area.

Delicious food. Very spicy. I had the Pork Belly Stir Fry and it burned my face off. But I loved it and would gladly set my mouth on fire again. They give you big portions and pack the to-go plates to the brim. The titular noodles are very yum.

Been here several times over the last year. The food is really so-so. Ordered a large portion of stewed brisket with rice noodles. First of all, the large portion didnt mean more noodles. Noodles are the 100% authentic real Changsha deal. The chopped red chillies are fragrant and deeply flavored and perfect. The broth is to die for. The noodles have the most amazing texture, at once springy and silky. I ordered a small bowl with two toppings and my only regret is not ordering a large with even more toppings.Note: the default here is flat noodles, but you can also ask for round noodles! I prefer the texture of round noodles, but I forgot to specify and enjoyed the flat noodles anyway. (Some say they pick up more flavor from the broth.)I had tears in my eyes as I greedily slurpped every last strand of noodle and then emptied the broth bottoms up. Were they tears of joy? Or were the chillies that spicy? Or both? Try it yourself to find out.

This place is the best Hunan rice noodle soup place Ive ever had outside of Changsha, Hunana, China. Very authentic. No MSG in broth. All the toppings are nicely prepared. The cold dishes are also very well made. Go early on Weekends, otherwise you will be in a long line.

Noodle soup has scarce pieces of every ingredient, meaning frugal and cheap, bland tasted soup base with lots of chillies to overpower it. Other dishes were not so good either. I ordered the stewed beef brisket. The noodles were firm and had just the right stretchy consistency, the broth was spicy enough to make me tear up, and the beef was full of heart ❤️. Oh wait, that wasnt metaphorical, it was actual bovine vasculature - really chewy and tasty! The staff were really friendly, and really give off a sense of pride in every bowl they serve. I left with a full belly and warm feeling that returns to me from time to time.

We come every Saturday after my kids kungfu class next door. We love noodle places. I have to say this place is better than Noodle Talk or QQ Noodle for its food portion, taste and materials they use. Our favorites are Stewed Beef Shank rice noodle and Chicken Gizzards with Pickled Radish and Chili rice combo. Staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable for Cupertino. I highly recommend this place.

Beef noodle soup lacked any flavor except salt and oil. Even with extra portion of pork belly it was a bit light on protein. My fiancé’s chicken gizzards fried noodle was not good and she didn’t even finish it. Gizzard was too crunchy and lacked a good flavor.

I had noodles here for a few times. And the last time I went, It was really bad experience since the service was bad. I was “expelled” after I finished my food. The guy (boss?) said “sorry I need to clean up the table since there are people waiting”. I was like...what??? And then he started to clean up the table and I stood up. My friend was still at restroom at that time and that guy asked me to take my friend’s bag from the chair, and then other people were seated by him.My friend and I have food quickly. We waited in the line as well and we spent at most 20 minutes to get our dinner done, which was much quicker compared to other tables seated at the same time as us or before us. And we gave good tips.Then what did we get? The line was not long and there are lines everywhere on Friday night! This is definitely NOT a correct way a restaurant treats their customers! I doubt if they ever know what a restaurant means. You could not event wait for a few minutes? I was just waiting for my friend!! We knew people were waiting and we were not mean. We finished it so quickly and had already saved you a lot of time. I could not even extend my dinner time from 20 minute to 23 minutes?I will definitely not visit this place again. And neither of my friends.

Service is bad, especially when it comes to around closing. Food is ok but not as good, especially the topping portion. :-(On a separate note, parking here is very DANGEROUS. My friend’s car and mine go broken in on the same day, with nothing visible on the seats. I won’t come back again but if you have to eat here, try park very very close to the restaurant so that the chance of being broken in is lower.

As a native of Hunan, although the taste of this restaurant is good, the attitude towards customers is really the worst I have ever seen, not one of them. I went to their house once before, and I started to have a stomachache a few hours after I got home. I didnt know what happened, so I went to the hospital. It just happened to be during the Christmas period, and the usual walk-in places were closed. I only found Stanford Emergency which was still open, so I went there to check for a long time. After the bill was sent, I found out that the emergency entrance fee was 1w1, and the inspection fee was 1k, a total of 1w2. Fortunately, there was insurance, and I paid 100 after the cover. Not long after, I went to eat at their house again (as the true love of my hometown), and I went to talk to their staff about it, the intention was to remind them to pay attention, so as not to let other customers encounter it again, but they didn’t listen to me. Just left, looking absent-minded. Havent been to their house since.Oh yes one more thing. I have been going to this store since its soft opening, and I have been going there for a long time.
