Yume sushi bar is my favorite sushi in the whole world. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The rolls are phenomenal. There are lots of yummy appetizers as well as cooked fish and vegetarian options. The restaurant has such a cool vibe. I love coming here with my family and also for date night.

Although Ventura Blvd can be a bit noisy, it did not take away from the innovative menu, attentive service. Worth mentioning the crispy rice with avocado, a lightly battered crisp tempura and stir fried Japanese pumpkin. Lovely late afternoon meal. Not cheap.

Everything was excellent. From the Miso soup to the spicy edamame to the wonderful green roll! Great service too! Highly recommend!

Love this spot! The quality of the fish is incredible and the price point is soo reasonable, which is a hard combination to find in LA. Usually places are overpriced and charge for the vibe, and the quality is eh, but not Yume. Theyre also super creative with their rolls so the flavors in each are amazing. Also, do not leave without trying the seared truffle salmon - best bite in LA.

Generous slice of ultra fresh fish on a small block of selected Japanese rice = sushi worth indulging in. Get a seat at the chef counter in this no frills, focused, high quality restaurant and order delicious seafood one item at a time - dont forget the Toro - while sipping some aged Junmai from Fukui prefecture.

Just found out about this place walking along Ventura blvd. The aesthetic brought me in but the food will keep me coming back! Its seriously out of this world. My new fav sushi spot!! All the fish is so fresh and the sauces are truly like nothing Ive ever had before. Sake selection is also great. Overall 10/10. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

A perfect place to celebrate a good friends birthday and being able to go out again since the pandemic. We reserved our outside table but they also have inside seating. They have the code for a touchless menu and you must wear a mask until you are eating. We slow rolled our orders so we could savor each bote as well as enjoy in person interaction. Virtual calls can only do so much. Started out with some hot sake Suijin I believe and shishito peppers. The bonito flakes on top give it extra flavor. We then went truffle crazy on our sashimi salmon and halibut. Enough portions for the 4 of us to enjoy the quality and freshness while leaving us hungry and curious for the miso cod. Oh my! Its cooked and before I could even comprehend what was happening to my taste buds I had ordered another. Next was toro sushi that needed nothing in a addition to the rice, toro, and light green sauce that comes with it. The dream roll was so light with a citrus introduction and a spicy finish. A dab of wasabi did the trick on the second bite. The baked crab earned a second order. The company made the evening but the food definitely set the scene. Had a great night out and I would highly recommend eating here. It is pricey for our taste but a special occasion made it worth every penny.
