Food: 3.5-5 depending on the dish.Service: 5/5 (no problems for us)Value: 3/5Ambiance: Casual, but they have a nicer feel than a typical traditional Chinese restaurant. We ordered the clay pot eel fried rice and the braised pork belly with eggplant. The pork belly to me was a 5/5 for those who like the sauce a bit sweeter. The eel claypot fried rice was a 3/5 and quite pricey. The eel was kinda bland but the fried rice was good.I’d come back to try lunch specials, rice rolls, other dishes and for specific dishes, but some dishes are definitely a pass.

We tried this 🆕 restaurant in Millbrae for lunch. They have a decent offering for lunch plates 🍽️ at $9.9, which I felt was a great value for both the food quality and the quantity. The tofu with pork was really nice. The steamed rice rolls were a revelation. The braised duck 🦆 with ginger was just okay. Staff is friendly and they try to do their best in spite of some language barriers. Well definitely return for more!

I like Taishan food. Its a bit different from the usual Cantonese cuisine we get in the Bay Area. My family and I, 12 of us ordered a variety of dishes. The standouts for me were the chive flowers with crispy fish and squid, the crispy baby shrimps in a sweet soy sauce, the eel claypot rice (Taishan specialty), clams in black bean sauce (standard Cantonese fare, but still good). I like deep fried pig intestines,. Theirs are battered and fried. I like mine without batter, so the sleeves are crispy like pork rind. The other dishes were good. The prices are a bit more than your average Chinese restaurant, but wed ask ourselves, was it worth it, Id yes. That ultimately determines if wed come back again. Service is friendly.

Food was delicious and portions are large, but price is a little expensive. Most of the good Chinese restaurants that used to be open late in the area close early after the pandemic, so I appreciate that this is one of the only ones that is still open late. I would come again especially after a late flight from SFO!

Tasty food with a lot wok hei!We ordered pork neck with veggies, and the classic clay pot rice. They are both good! Well enough for two people. The complimentary green bean dessert was a big surprise too. Will come back and try more items.

Pretty decent Cantonese style good, tried their pepper chicken pot it was great. The eel rice clay pot was better than other clay pot restaurants in the area but still (understandably) miles behind local restaurants in Canton. A bit overpriced for the overall experience as the place is a bit dingy and chaotic at times.

Delicious Cantonese food. We especially loved the black garlic diced beef dish. The beef was flavorful, tender and juicy. Every dish was solid. The food comes in large platters so bring the family. Clean restaurant and attentive, courteous service!

Good tasting food with some Taishan style dishes and fresh seafood. Will come back to try out more of their menu.

We were fooled by their pictures! Their churn fun is not churn fun. Does not look anything like their posted pictures. Tasted disgusting. Overcharged us as well. We paid $26 for 2 small fake rice noodle rolls. The person making this needs to go to cooking school. We wont be coming back.
