UpdateWent again with a buddy and got 2 beef dishes, 4 beers, large rice, cajun frys, and boil Combo #2 Hot with fusion for the sauce.The 2 lunch special dishes were great and tasted pretty good. The Cajun Garlic fries have a great bite and are perfect in terms of the garlic.The Boil left much to be desired. The sauce was bland and very watery. It looked more like water with spices in it but still was bland. It doesnt coat the seafood at all and just tasted slightly spicy with no other flavors coming through.The shrimp and crawdads were great and werent overcooked, but once again, no flavor due to the horrible sauce. The clams had broken shells in them.The server was great though. She was super attentive and when we said the sauce was bland and watery/thin, she went to the kitchen and got slightly thicker sauce for us to go. Asked the server to sub potatoes for either sausage or corn. I asked him twice and he said ok. He didnt write the order down and just left. Got the combo and rice and it was great. The shrimp werent overcooked and tasted fine. However he forgot to sub potatoes and he grabbed one for me later when he placed the Togo order on the side.Got the check and saw that it was vegetable not shrimp chow mein. No offer to change or sub or anything.Overall, male server was pretty bad but food was great.

I usually go to FAIR OAKS BURGER atleast 2x per week for last 6 yrs..What I like the most... my list..CHICKEN BOWL, has veggies, their amazing Marinated Chicken, chow mein noodles, it must weigh 2lbs.!!.....their breaded fish tacos are excellent, best Ive had somethingI started to orderedin 2021,I also enjoy their TUNA sandwich,Their famous...FAIR OAKS BURGER COMBO? ?.Oh the service is always ? ? great. When they are busy, they are busy.. they never stop..!!THEY ARE ALWAYS HAPPY to see everyone, the regulars,... they know your name, and already know what you want..!!Just an amazing place you need to try yourself.. Another excellent experience at this hip fast casual taco Asian fusion restaurant. Tacos are interesting and well prepared. Service is very good. Todays visit the tacos were maybe a bit less than stellar, but still good, but we were a group and that may have impacted the results. They were a bit cold. Other visits all has been good.

UPDATED!!! MOST RECENT REVIEW AT BOTTOMOLD REVIEW: Ive been coming this location fairly consistently over the past 6 months. They carry a really good craft beer selection, its a great place to catch the games and avoid huge BWW sized crowds (go bears!). The workers have always been friendly and attentive to my needs. The restaurant has some pretty out of the box wing flavors (in a good way). Shout out to an employee by the name of Cameron, A+ customer service and great recommendations on the beer.Now for my criticisms! Its always SO warm inside, I know they had some issues with the A/C about a month back but the issue with the inside temperature has remained since then Hopefully they get this fixed/addressed soon, or they might as well start advertising this place as a sauna. That alone is why im giving this review a 4/5. Beyond the A/C issue, I wish they had a spicier sauce, the fire sauce ranks as a medium in my opinion. Judging from my experience today and recent reviews from others, it seems like there has been a fall from grace.I entered the establishment at approximately 1135, found a seat at the end of the bar and waited to be greeted. I first noticed what once used to be an oasis for craft beer drinkers had turned into a sad shadow of its former self. The fridges near the many vacant taps were empty. Not a single bottle or can. It now appears this area is used for storing dressing.Out of the twenty beer taps, only seven appeared to be in use.Eventually ten minutes had passed. Despite two young employees (one male, one female) walking near/by me, I was not greeted or even acknowledged with eye contact.Once it became apparent I was not going to be served at the bar, I took initiative and made contact with the female I had observed earlier at the front counter, near the cash registers.I advised the female employee I wished to purchase a beer and was not sure if I could order at the bar or needed to order at the cash register.She stated I could purchase my beer at the register and thought I had been taken care of already.I purchased a beer and inquired about the non existent selection of craft beer. She was unable to provide an informative explanation. It seemed like she didnt really know.I returned to the bar and enjoyed my beer.Once finished, I placed the empty pint glass in front of me, where it stayed for the remainder of my visit (approximately 30 minutes). I was not again acknowledged.While the female I had spoke with earlier was friendly during our brief conversation, the overall customer service experience was very lacking.I did not purchase food while I was there as I was not hungry. I am unable to give an update on this area of the business.Long story short: this appears to be a completely different business since my last visit. Long gone are the friendly faces, good customer service and amazing selection of craft beer.What once was a 4 star review is now a 2 star review. Hopefully this place can turn it around a return to its former glory days.
