Quickly
1212 El Camino Real A, San Bruno, CA 94066, United States
We regularly get coffee milk tea from Quickly places that we go to and have been to at least four others in the Bay area. Since we regularly eat at the Tanforan Food court, we visited this Quickly store twice and had bad experience with their service on both occasions. The cashiers taking the order did not get our orders right on both occasions. They simply do not listen to the customer and are just plain indifferent. Their service is indicative of their lack of enthusiasm to get business. We have to go to the other Quickly store at San Bruno shopping center just to avoid this one at Tanforan. We noticed that this shop does not offer other food items that are regularly offered by other Quickly stores. Looks like business is not good for this Quickly store and I can only speculate that their service accounts for this poor business performance. They should do better particularly that their location on the second floor should make them more inviting to customers who dine at the ground floor. Their price is also higher than the other Quickly stores we have been to.

The most worthwhile restaurant to visit in the past few days, a very authentic Asian fusion restaurant. Ally is very friendly and will help recommend it. I had a great time with my boyfriend and will come back again.

Societea Tea House & Eatery

Ordered a CTC (cinnamon toast crunch), machagato, popcorn chicken, and classic vietnamese sandwich.CTC was creamy and tasty. it didnt really taste like cinnamon toast crunch but still good. Stir it as you drink otherwise you will get all crumbs in the bottom. It has the cheese foam on it but it mot salty loke some places.I recommend trying this if you like creamy milk teasmMachagato is a spin off of the affogato. Green milk tea with green tea ice cream and a shot of matcha. After mixing it up, it kind of just tasted like a matcha latte. It was ok but I wouldnt recommend it unless you just want a matcha latte.Popcorn chicken was good. Meat was tender. I would recommend this.Viet sandwich had a good amount of meat in it but 2 major problems. 1) it was the wrong kind of bread. I dont know what kind of bread it was but it didnt taste like the typical viet style french bread. 2) the pickled daikon and carrots were WAY to sour, to the point that it was overwhelming rather than complimenting to the sandwich. Not recommended.1.31.2021Went back again. This time we got the mangonada and strawberry matcha. We liked them both ?. If there was just a tab more match flavor in the strawberry matcha then it would have been perfect. Also very pleased that manager messaged me back telling me that they fixed the issue with the pickled daikon and carrots. Show that they ready care about their products and services.

K-Grill & Tofu House

I was down in San Bruno to buy a car and drove by this place at 7pm. There was a line waiting outside in the cold. So I joined ‘em, a 20 minute wait. I ordered the bibimbap, a simple meal. Came away hungry. Just kidding. Stuffed to the gills and delicious. Why are Koreans not grotesquely overweight? I’ve never under-eaten at a Korean restaurant. There’s a lot to choose from Asian-fusion wise in San Bruno, but you can’t go wrong with the K-Grill. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Atlas Pizza Parlor

Weve never eaten here before and after looking at menu and reviews we opted to try the Achari wings and 1/2 and 1/2 a speciality pie. We got the Achari Chicken wings which were big in size and very good. I was expecting more pickled spices flavor but its a wings version and I didnt know what to expect but it was a dry seasoning and still very good and Id order again. We got 14 inch pizza half chicken Tikka and half curry. Ive never had an Indian fusion styled pizza before so didnt know what to expect but flavors were good but seasoned moreso dry and not saucey like youd maybe expect from the inspired dishes. I think thats where people dont know what they are in for. Its a pizza and its on a crust and it was really good hot and wed eat there again. We did pick up and they have a full service bar inside and the owner or manager was super attentive while we were waiting on one item to be finished and made friends with some regulars while we were there. They have a great tequila selection and spacious bar that has very inviting energy to grab a drink. Definitely will be back. I gave 4 stars bc on website I couldnt figure out how to order and called it in instead and the young man who answered the phone said I could only get the 10% discount if I ordered online... I asked him how? And he wasnt sure but said he couldnt help me out bc thats just how it was. The price of these pizzas are expensive but everything over here seems expensive even Artichoke Joes raised their food prices crazily but the pizzas are loaded with chicken so sign of the times... You gotta deal with it as the economy is screwed up. People are nice and food is very good. Id go back!

Diamond Head General Store
260 El Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066, United States
A hidden gem! The restaurant is not too noticeable from the street. The interior, while spacious, feels a bit unfinished and homey. The main attraction here is the food, a Hawaiian-Japanese take on brunch. The fusion is a great success. The Asian flavors makes the genre feel fresh and tasty, without overwhelming the base dish. One issue is the speed of service. At the time of this writing it is still quite a new place. The server and kitchen both have yet to achieve peak operational efficiency.Another issue is parking. There is only a small lot shared by the restaurant along with other nearby businesses, aside from street parking right off busy El Camino Real. All other issues will be solved with time aside from this one.

Hawaiian Drive Inn

I LOVE THIS PLACE TO EAT!!! I love the food like the macaroni salad included in your meal. The food is made fresh in the back. Im a regular here and the boss knows me when I call and when I come in person. The bbq chicken meals and the rest of the menu items are really delicious. They dont take credit cards only cash. Its better to call ahead because they get really busy sometimes. You can also eat there its bright yellow inside which keeps you happy. Theres muni transportation right out front. The 9, 9express and the 8 bus runs out front. Theres several choices of food in the area but Im team Hawaiian Drive In all the way. Theres dipping sauce for the breaded meat and hot sauce for the bbq chicken plate. If you try it you will like it. Theres no parking lot for this location. Theres a lot next door but its for the Asian restaurant next door. You will be towed if you park there. Street meter parking only nearby. Overall go eat there you wont be disappointed. Enjoy
