WaBa Grill
19126 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
So sad in this day and age of Restaurants Galore that Waba Grill has become the latest price gouger out there. Is Gouger even a word? Perhaps Not. Walked in here tonight with the intention of getting my Grub on... sadly it would Not happen. Waited a couple of minutes for the girl to come to the register. Noticed prices went up (not terribly, just a few cents here and there). Went to order my staple, The Waba Signature Plate. Was told, quite rudely, that I would have to pay Extra since I didnt want Rice. Sure, penalize me for wanting to be healthy. No More Waba for me!! Im done with them. So sad cause I really liked their food. However, with an extra charge for being healthy and a side of attitude, No Thank you. Judging by the crowd in there. 2 people, they Probably couldve used my order of 8 Plates! Hungry family at home will Now be disappointed. However with 10 Gazillion places to eat out there, Im sure Ill find a substitute.Waba Grills Motto:At WaBa Grill we are committed to providing our customers an enjoyable dining experience, serving the finest quality meals. Our foundation is based on healthy eating with low calorie, low carb and high protein options. We are the place for healthy food options on-the-go.Lesson 1) Dont have an attitude with your customer.Lesson 2) Dont boast Eating Smart and Being Healthy then penalize a customer for wanting to do Just That.Lesson 3) There are MANY places that offer Healthy Food Options on-the-go!Funny just a month ago I was in here and I ordered my standard, which incidentally included No Rice, and the gal not only made my food to order, she actually gave me avocado at NO Charge. Funny how a New Year and Perhaps new ownership changes things???
Mix Stix Asian Fusion
751 Front St, Soledad, CA 93960, United States
Soledad has needed more restaurant diversity and we are lucky to have this amazing Asian fusion place. The owners and staff are really friendly people and their menu is legit. Ive been hooked on the fried Gorilla roll with jalapenos but they have a big menu full of more traditional Chinese dishes as well. They now support online ordering too. I can easily see this being my primary lunch spot from now on.

Sen Noodle House

My visit to Sen House Noodles in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, California, was truly a gastronomic delight. As a devoted connoisseur of Asian cuisine, I embarked on a culinary journey that left an indelible mark on my palate. The Hot and Zesty Noodles, a testament to culinary craftsmanship, showcased a meticulous balance of heat and flavor. The noodles were impeccably cooked, retaining that ideal springiness, while the spiciness of the dish was a symphony of taste sensations that titillated my taste buds with each forkful. The intricacy of flavors in these noodles is a testament to the chef's expertise. Now, let's discuss the Curry Fried Rice - a masterpiece in its own right. The fragrance of the curry enveloped my senses as soon as it arrived at the table. It was a culinary sonnet, harmonizing perfectly cooked rice with a curry sauce that was nothing short of ambrosial. The addition of vegetables and protein, if chosen, elevated this dish to a level of textural perfection that few can achieve.Yet, it wasn't just the food that impressed. The attentive and amiable service added another layer of satisfaction to this dining experience. The restaurant's cozy ambiance provided the ideal backdrop for this culinary journey. In the realm of Asian cuisine, Sen House Noodles stands as a beacon of excellence, a place where the artistry of food reaches its zenith. My recommendation? Dive into their Hot and Zesty Noodles and savor the Curry Fried Rice, for they are nothing less than culinary poetry in motion. A must-visit for any discerning food enthusiast.
Life Thai Fusion
22911 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, United States
This place has delicious food and theyre very careful to prepare your food correctly if you are vegan. The manager informed me that she has special training for her kitchen staff on vegan food preparation. Everything Ive tried so far is great. My favorites are the pad see ewe (vegan) with faux beef, soy prik king fish (spice level 3), and the soy orange chicken. My kids love the soy chicken satay and soy orange chicken. Also the fried mushroom appetizer is delicious and crispy, it kinda reminded me of getting fried calamari except the mushroom melts in your mouth!I wasnt very fond of the pad thai but that might just be because pad thai isnt usually my go to.The only negative I would say is sometimes the service is sub par. Theres one waitress in particular who wears her hair in a very high bun atop her head who is difficult to communicate with. Im here now and had to ask her 4 times what vegetables come in the yellow curry before I got a clear answer. She comes off a bit rude but that might be due to a language barrier. This is the second time Ive had her as my server and both times Ive been unhappy.Fortunately for life thai fusion, the food is good enough to keep me coming back in spite of her (customer service training would hurt though).
