Cho Dang Tofu Restaurant
Diamond Bar Towne Center, 1155 S Diamond Bar Blvd # M, Diamond Bar, CA 91765, United States
Terrible and cheating.1. It took a long time to be seated. None of waitresses cared how long we had to wait although there were a plenty of tables.2. Food sucks. bean sprouts are so old, less ingredients on each side dish and main. and a portion for the meat are so small for the price. a bowl of rice is extremely small. Never seen this small in any of Korean restaurants.Asked a mild tofu soup, but its very spicy.3. They never told us there is an extra charge for multi-grain rice bowl and when I even asked them why the bowl rice is so small, they told me as if theyll provide a free one. Later, they charged extra extra without telling us anything. This is just a cheating and fraud.Just terrible for services, taste, and so pricy. Do not waste of your money

I ordered the Beef and Shrimp Vermicelli, it came with sliced Cucumber, shredded Carrots, Bean Sprouts and Special House Sauce, it is a very tasty cool dish, very light and pleasant, perfect for a hot summer day. Other than that, this place is like most of the low budget Asian restaurant, no decors, no TVs, adequate but minimal service, once they placed the drinks and served the food, they dont check back, they dont see your empty glass that needs refill. A good exception is their bathroom is very clean. I recommend this place.Update: Im hungry after 2 hours.
Diamond Palace Cuisine of India

To begin with, the employees don't have any idea what customer service is and, not a tiny bit of gratitude towards the customers. I tried placing an order online and the ordering window was closed. So I called the restaurant to place an order and the first thing I heard was “ORDER ON GRUBHUB” with an attitude. After I told them about the ordering window, the guy asked me for the order hesitantly. Due to covid-19 situation, I was willing to provide my card details over the phone to make it as contactless as possible and they guy was a little frustrated at this point( not sure why a business would get frustrated to get the card details on the phone, it's after all the primary goal of any business!! Not sure what's the hassle in getting the card details if they have the ability to process them) another guy gets the details and notes the card details on a paper instead of directly entering it on the payment system (poor work ethics) - I realized when he acknowledged that he needs to open the system when I asked for order total. When I reached the restaurant to pick up, two guys stormed out of the restaurant shouting “NEXT TIME UBER EATS” with an attitude - i lost it at this point. I came to pick up the order 10 minutes before closing time, if that is a problem, management should refrain from taking orders if they are not ready to service the customers. If this is the kind of customer service and attitude that you want to show to the customers(especially during covid times when businesses are thriving) I can only imagine how these guys attitude will be during peak business season. Note to management - learn how to treat your customers and try to be nice if not, you will soon run out of business. Don't tell people what to do and where to order, it's their choice, you can either accept or deny the order. You can always suggest the customers to use 3rd party apps, but do not force it on someone or treat the customers poorly when then don't.
Diamond Palace Chinese Seafood
225 Gentle Springs Ln, Diamond Bar, CA 91765, United States
Worst experience in years, seriously. Wife and I desired Chinese food, drove to diamond bar and discovered one of our fav locations were closed for the afternoon. I remembered a decent Chinese restaurant a few blocks away and so thats when we rolled into this so called palace. I should have followed my instinct when there was a worker bleaching and cleaning what appeared to be seafood spilled on the sidewalk in adjacent to the entrance. I know believe someone must have barfed outside of the restaurant. Front doors were wide open and being hungry we were eager to try out. There were cars in the parking lot which is typically an indication of patrons. As we entered we noticed the restaurant was empty except for a large family gathering possibly of about twenty plus seated together. A woman approached us with a less than welcoming greet. My impression was that we were not welcomed but different cultures can be misread. We were seated and and paper menus were provided with a pot of tea. Nothing else on table. Approximately 1 minute later same woman server stood at our table with a look of what do you want to order with her pad in hand. I knew what I wanted before I walked in, house special rice. My wife was still reviewing menu and server was annoyed that my wife didnt understand what she wanted after a minute to review menu. I ask politely, another couple minutes please and an the annoyed server scurried away tho promptly returned. Wife orders hard noodles with chicken and server scurried away. Gentlemen brings our plates and somewhat drops the plates on table and scurried away. Im thinking oh, hes probably going to get water, soy sauce, maybe some fried noodles. Nope, no one asked us about drinks, or can we get you something else?We proceed to start eating and the special rice had very small size pork chunks maybe and some shrimp. The noodles were hard alright and seriously about the most bland thing I ever tasted next to the rice I just ordered. 5 minutes later I ask the wife if you see any server please waive down to ask for soy sauce. We wave the server to come over and its our happy server again, she sees me from across the room and starts our way. From a couple of tables back she addresses me by asking what? Im like what the hell? She grabs a soy sauce and plops on table and scurried away again. Wife and I look at each other like huh? We are not wanted here for sure. I ask for containers to go and she rudely drops on table. My wife and I or 60 years and dressed appropriately, and I take my hat off at the table but dont get it.Dont do it! You will be disappointed in the food and more at the rude service there.

They claim to have the #1 beef noodles, Im here to try it out. Lets see if its good...UPDATE: I tried their accalimed #1 beef noodles and they mention on their menu (in chinese) that there was no MSG added. When ordering, you can have half beef and half tendons as an option and they have different types of noodles when you order the beef noodles, you can try the handmade noodles (which cost $1 more and its what they use to win the #1 place).I can say that their beef noodles is rather tasty, their thick slices of meat is soft and tender. And their soup is not oily. Their noodles are very chewy and taste really good. But I know they added MSG inside. So thats why I gave them a 3 stars. Because even though their beef noodles are good, their other food dishes are just OK, and also, their service is rather slow, so if youre expecting to have a fast lunch or dinner, go somewhere else.
WaBa Grill
1194 Grand Ave, Diamond Bar, CA 91765, United States
Not even giving it one star as it doesnt deserve it. I picked up food yesterday evening and discovered all the rice was mainly un-cooked. I went back to the store to return. The associates couldnt refund the money because they dont know how to do it! They told me the manager Christina would be there the next day and refund my money.Today I wasted another trip to the restaurant as the manager again wasnt there and that I could meet her tomorrow. They wanted me to give them the receipt and they would refund my money. I told them NO that this was the only way I had proof of purchase. I dont blame the kids working there as they are only doing what they are told by the horrible management. I like eating at Waba Grill but I will NEVER order food from there again! Its ridiculous that they dont train the associates to return money to a paying customer. Putting this in Yelp too! Remember its Christina the managers fault, they asked for my number so they could call me but wouldnt give me her number! Cowards!P.S. had to give it one star to post but they dont even deserve that!
SEOUL BBQ

My family usually go to Rowland heights for AYCE Korean bbq, so we were excited when we heard about this one in Diamond Bar.We decided to try the $24.99 deal because we mainly eat brisket and bulgogi only. The place is new, nice, clean, very bright and not smoggy. Its roomy inside with lots of tables, good for large parties as well. The meat quality was really good, and the side dishes were really fresh with many varieties.Flying tiger beef was something new to us. Its thin sliced beef bellies with a special sauce which had a sweet and sour taste. It tasted more like Thai to me. Beef belly is usually oily, but with this special sauce, this juicy grilled beef belly can increase your appetite.Kimchi doshirak was also new to try. The waiter had egg, kimchi, rice and some sauce in a metal bento box, and he shook the box to mix the ingredients before serving. It tasted like kimchi stirred rice. Pretty good as a side. The service was excellent. Our grill plate was changed 4 times without asking.Overall, we were so happy with the taste and quality for this inexpensive price.

If you ever wonder what kind of Terracotta Warriors Army eats, you have to try the XiAn authentic foods .Tasty XiAn is an excellent choice for fulfilling your curiosity. I ordered the Fried Pork Intestines in the Dry pot, it is delicious beyond imagination. The spiciness with the crispness is just a perfect combination . All the species in this dish are well balanced ; the Beef Chowing is wonderfully cooked with tasty flavour . Tasty XiAn has so many traditional dishes that are unique and no other restaurants offer . It is famous for its lamb dishes like the home style pork Rouburge . It also provides home style dumplings that I can cook at home . What a wonderful experience in visiting the Tasty XiAn . Most of all, All the dishes are reasonably priced .

I usually drive pass this going to work and wanted to try it. I got their Xiao long bao ($10.99) for my family to try. Very juicy and plenty of meat. They have pork and napa cabbage, 3 flavors, pork and celery, pork and fennel, fish and chives, lamb, beef, and chicken flavors to try.Its located in the corner of a plaza with a few tables inside, majority of the people got their orders to go. The staff was nice and the place is clean, they have a stamp card.
Jing potato noodle

The taste is very good, but the packaging box is really a headache, so I pack it in a big box! The other is a small box, so the powder cannot be poured into the soup! How can I eat in the office? A mouthful of soup and a mouthful of noodles?
