Tokyo & Beijing Sushi & BBQ & Chinese Cuisine
2225 Railroad Ave, Pittsburg, CA 94565, United States
UPDATE: Ive gone a few more times here & am changing my review from 4 stars to 5! Ive tried 1-2 new rolls every time I go & have yet to find one that I dont like. Everything has been really good! The prices are so good. As you can see from my pics, we like to order a feast-full of food when we go! My photo with 7 rolls was only $63, which is amazing for sushi! I recommend anything basically, though Im not a fan of spicy rolls so I dont usually order that. But they have so much to choose from for anyones liking.Original Review: I really like this place. The prices are more than reasonable & the flavor is good. The sushi is just a bit small (hence the 4 stars), but you will be paying less here than other sushi places in the area & the flavor is good. I really enjoy their lion king roll. Also, their lunch bento boxes are great! Theyre so much food! My favorite are the salmon or chicken teriyaki bentos. These were a frequent favorite for my coworkers & I at lunch!

My first visit to this quaint petite restaurant. I ordered chicken pancit and vegetable lumpia to go. It took about 10 or 15 minutes. The cashier was pleasantly cheerful. The total was $11 and some change. It has been a long few years since the last time I had pancit at a potluck. I just had a craving for it today. Anyways, while driving home, I grabbed a lumpia to munch on and it was cold. Not room temp cold but refrigerator cold. I thought it could have at least been heated in a toaster oven, which is what I did with the remaining 3 pieces when I got home. The lumpia came with a dipping sauce which tasted like vinegar?? The chicken pancit was steamy hot, down to the last morsel and very good. Nice portion but only one lemon wedge. I have to remember to take pictures of the food, dang it!! I was hungry, haha!!-The mail lady

Panda Express
2120 Railroad Ave Suite 4, Pittsburg, CA 94565, United States
Slow and kind of rude. I went there today to do a doordash and I got ahold of somebody right away they said that the order was waiting for chow mein as they waited for about seven more minutes I had to get her again and ask what happened. She informed me that they also need rice which would have been really nice to know about 10 minutes ago I could have cancel the order and delivered the one I already had in my car. They should be more responsible about letting doordashers and other delivery people know what is going on with the order instead of ignoring them. When I finally got the order I was very friendly and said thank you very much and the lady said absolutely nothing she just looked at me rude. I really cannot stand bad customer service it really upsets me! Not only that it seems like theyre very unorganized inside the kitchen they were doing orders all over the place in the wrong order which I absolutely cant stand.

If it were possible to rate these neo-racists in negative intergers, I would summarily do so.After picking up my wife, who is Filipina, from The BART Station. I myself am Black. It was her idea to visit for dinner. Bwcause they have a full service hot food bar. The time was about 8-8:15pm all in all. The market was due to close at 9pm.They were already beginning to shut down the hot food area. I was, with her, looking over the remaining selections. Of course, recognizing her as one of their own. She was being served expeditiously. Shes trying to ask me what I would like. But the lady serving her kept interrupting her to ask what she wanted.Intriguing enough. Another Filipina woman entered the food line behind me. Rather closely, invading my personal space. Oh, she was served as expeditiously as my wife, by one other of the no less than four to five people working. I was mortified. My dignity tested. As I told my wife (the lady serving her never even spoke to me, or acknowledged me) what I wanted to order. They were swiftly gathering up the heating trays, and declaring the items were all out. Which was a bold faced lie. Finally, I advised my wife, who I felt sorry for, as she appeared completely ashamed, hurt... to just get what she wants and we leave. Because if I was starving. I wouldnt eat their food for free. By the way. The woman behind me got everything she wanted. While I had these people look off to the side as if they couldnt see a 64, 250lb well dressed man before them. This is America. A society composed of multiple ethnic groups. Sometimes the stories of how we come together or clash arent always very neat or nice. We may carry the baggage of negative encounters with us along our way. But this is not a personal scenario. Like my 25 year marriage to my wife. This is business. All paying customers deserve proper and expeditious service. A former coworker once said to me: With Filipinos, you never know. Some love us (Blacks) and others we couldnt give something valuable for free... tonight was the latter. My business, despite my wifes being accepted, was not wanted. Nor will they get it in the future. --D. W.

Skyview Noodle & Tea
200 E 3rd St, Pittsburg, CA 94565, United States
This restaurant is located in an area where you least expected; in fact it looks like it was a former bar. The owners are pretty hands on when it comes to service and making the food (which was also a problem because the husband was the only one in the dining room and the wife was working the kitchen by herself). They do have lot of great food here, but there are some you can skip. The beef noodle rolls is one you can skip. The Shanghai dumpling was good, and will satisfy your craving if you cant make it to SF. The fresh noodles soup was truly fresh, you can taste it from the texture and the soup base had MSG. Their small appetizer plates was a bit on the saltier side, but their tea egg was pretty flavorful. Pot stickers was a bit greasy and the taste and it didnt appear freshly made. Their green onion pancake had very minimum green onion so you dont get that taste.Menu is also a bit confusing as their numbering is duplicated elsewhere in the menu so make sure you point to what you want instead of calling out the number.Although the service here was friendly the speed of food delivery was very painfully slow.. we got here at 8:00PM and didnt finish our meal until after 9:30PM

Worth a try ~ RecommendedFried oysters are very crunchy and delicious, not greasy at allTakoyaki snacks are also very good. They are hot and crispy when delivered, and the batter inside is very fluffy ~ deliciousFor my staple ramen, I ordered the tonkotsu flavor. The soup was very rich and a little spicy to increase my appetite. The ingredients in the noodles were also very rich, including three thick pieces of barbecued pork, fungus, shredded bamboo shoots, soft-boiled eggs, and shredded radish. It was worth it. ! !It would be better if the soft-boiled eggs were pickled, but they are actually quite delicious? In fact, there is also a bowl of spicy oil beef ramen, which tastes great and highly recommended! ! The beef flavor is very rich and the soup is equally delicious~ Recommended??But for drinks, the brown sugar milk tea I ordered had no brown sugar flavor at all...I dont know if he made a mistake and made it just a normal milk tea~ I didnt open it until I got home and drank it, so I couldnt ask...

Uncle Wang Chinese Restaurant on Railroad Ave has consistently been my go-to spot for delicious Chinese cuisine in Pittsburg, and my latest visit only solidified its place in my favorites.Over the years, Ive developed a penchant for their exquisite menu, and this time was no exception. I ordered a variety of dishes, including shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour pork, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, beef chow fun, and shrimp and broccoli. Each dish was a delightful symphony of flavors, showcasing the chefs skill in creating authentic and mouthwatering Chinese cuisine. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, highlighting the restaurants commitment to quality. The shrimp fried rice had a perfect balance of textures, the sweet and sour pork was crispy yet tender, and the hot and sour soup delivered a satisfying kick. The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, and both the beef chow fun and shrimp and broccoli were executed with precision.Beyond the delectable food, the warm and inviting ambiance of Uncle Wangs has contributed to making it a comfortable dining experience over the years. In-N-Out Burger
4550 Delta Gateway Blvd B, Pittsburg, CA 94565, United States
Latest review:Last night I took my family to have dinner at the In-N-Out in Pittsburg/Antioch, CA; my wife pointed out the free, hot cocoa sign that was on display on the counter, so we decided, after having dinner, we will enjoy some hot cocoa for dessert. After finishing our dining meal, I went up to order a large strawberry shake and free hot cocoas. I noticed my total was increasing as I was ordering the hot cocoas, and was confused as to why free, hot cocoas was increasing my total; when I completed payment, I saw that I was charged for 2 hot cocoas. When our number was called and I went to pick up my order, I said some thing about being charged for the free hot cocoas to the short, east Asian looking gentleman who I believe is a manager; this gentleman very unprofessionally questioned me and the weather, insinuating that it had not been a rainy day when actually it had rained all morning long, and then proceeded to further question me asking me what hours it was raining that day; the gentleman then went on to say that if its raining when the restaurant opens then they usually have that deal going and I said yes! thats probably why the sign is on the counter, because it was raining all morning. I usually never have a complaint about my visit to In-N-Out, but last night was not a good visit after dealing with this unprofessional manager, and being overcharged for free, hot cocoa.Prev review:It’s outside of Southern California, so In-N-Out locations are far and few. This location is better than others as the drive-thru line seems shorter and/or moves quicker, or maybe it’s just less busy than the others. The food and taste is pretty consistent with what is expected of the In-N-Out company, the staff here seems extra friendly and that’s a nice plus! I will be returning to this location as again, the options are far and few. I’d rather be in Southern California!
