Cup Noodle Shop
9783 Base Line Rd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
Unilaterally declared to be the best noodle restaurant in the East District of Los Angeles. The ingredients are fresh and taste good. The saliva chicken and coriander beef are amazing. The main thing is that the portion is large and the taste is very authentic. It feels like returning to Sichuan. I hope the boss will continue his efforts and give more to people in the United States. Come on, the Chinese contribute some delicious food!

Dumpling Master
7220 Day Creek Blvd #149, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
Restaurant Background: Individual Chinese cuisine serving noodles dumplings.signature item: dumplings and pot sticker. I ordered port pot sticker from most recent visit.Restaurant is clean and bright. Unlike some Asian restaurants, the space between each table is wide. Their menu is easy to read and straight forward. Dish names are in English, and Chinese translations are right next.I ordered clear broth beef noodle soup. Apparently, it is a soup in English because it is noodle soup, not soup noodles. It is confused to English speakers. This is just an ok Beef soup noodle. The soup was plain, not flavored. Pot stickers were must try. crunch and juicy. Unfortunately, they dont home made secret sauce. Most dumpling places use to have their own sauce.

Dumpling Village
7203 Haven Ave c, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701, United States
This Chinese food restaurant is NOT the same as those which just give you mediocre ingredients but they have had their menu thoughtfully planned out. Clean, excellent choice of ingredients and they always put consistent great Chinese food ? on the table. Prices are very reasonable. We love their yang chow fried rice, xiao long bao (soup inside dumpling ?), and noodles.

Mr Dumpling

This used to be my favorite dumpling place in the area. I'm really sad that the food has now changed. It seems like they are trying to cut costs by cutting down on the filling. My order of veggie dumplings had no egg. It was so stark that I actually asked the waiter about it, thinking they had forgotten the egg in that batch. He took a look and also stated “yes they used to have egg in them..” clearly he was also confused. Then I got to the sesame ball order and there was only a thimbleful of red bean paste in the whole thing. That's when it clicked for me that this was an intentional change, not an off chance mishap. I would rather pay more and get the things I am ordering than pay for empty shells. Wish they would just raise the prices and keep the quality the same. Their dough is perfect though. Hoping they get enough feedback to raise the prices instead of altering their product.I guess I should also mention that it was disappointing that the waiter said he would look into it. I was waiting thinking I'd get a new order. But then nothing came. Nothing was said. And eventually I got my bill for everything, which included the veggie dumplings.

Seven Grams

After shopping at Ontario Mill, we dined at Seven Grams Chinese XLB restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga, and I must say, its a hidden gem that offers everything youd find at Din Tai Fung. The taste of their XLB and spicy wontons is remarkably similar to the famous chain. Despite being a small shop with just a few tables, their service is impressively efficient, and our food arrived promptly. My personal favorite was the shrimp XLB, bursting with flavor and featuring whole shrimp that added a delightful twist. The cold sesame noodles were another highlight, boasting perfectly al dente noodles coated in a flavorful sesame sauce that was simply fantastic. The restaurants interior is beautifully decorated with a charming Chinese theme, and its well-lit, creating a welcoming ambiance. Overall, Seven Grams Chinese XLB is a must-visit for anyone craving the flavors of Din Tai Fung in Rancho Cucamonga, and I cant wait to return for another delightful dining experience.

I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant in my life. My wife and I came about 7:45pm. The hostess informed us that they closed at 8:30pm. Which was fine for us. We were seated and after a few minutes we went to get our bowls, upon getting to the grill the guy grilling told us that he was turning the grill off but he would cook our bowls. I told him that we were told they closed at 8:30pm. He said very rudely as he pointed to me “we turn everything off at 8pm and start cleaning, YOU leave at 8:30pm.!” I took our food and went to the table. At this point the food was very steamy and hot so we were waiting for it to cool. Meanwhile at 8:05pm.they started cleaning the whole restaurant, moving chairs around and making the few customers left uncomfortable so they got up and left.I asked the waitress if she wanted to give us boxes to go then we wouldnt mind just taking our food to go so they could clean and go home. She said “NO to go boxes with all you can eat!” I told her I understand that but you guys are closing and you didnt tell me that the grill would be turned off at 8pm. She said just this one time! We took our boxes and started to walk towards the door when the grilling guy started yelling towards us saying NO to go boxes, the lady came to try and calm him down, he started swearing at us and I told him I am just trying to do you a favor so you can go home. We proceeded out the door when my wife told me that he was coming after us running towards the door. I turned around and he was in my face, he grabbed my to go box and ran back into the restaurant. I went back in and he was yelling and screaming, meanwhile the hostess was arguing with him as well. He told me, you are lucky we even gave you a to go box, we usually charge by the pound. I told him just keep your food, I dont need it. My wife did end up with her to go box. In the end we paid $55 for one bowl of noodles. This is definitely not the way to treat customers and to make us feel like the bad ones even though we were trying to work around them. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from here, even if its just principle. FYI the food was terrible so maybe they did me a favor.

Oh my GOODNESS!!This little place has the best sandwich ever made!!!It's as good, if you went to Italy!!I've been to Italy. They're very similar, but this guy puts on more meat than the Italian would.. obviously us Americans love food!!He puts a lot of more heart into his food!TrustMe u can tell by the 1st bite!!!The texture is just so creamy. But not soggy.Their sauces are delicious.I highly recommend this place I drove an hour and a half was two hours just to try his sandwiches. It was so worth it.The big and fluffy the bread is so phenomenalAll his sauces are in house nothing store-bought along with other things. The meatball sandwich was so tender, and juicy was nicely slightly toastedThe sandwich that I had was so full of flavors. The cheese just melted and popped in my mouth. It was a OMG! MeatNice and tender and a good amount of it!! The chips where awesome my madeIn home!! Tasteful. Aioli and p corn sauceWas excellent!! Great atmosphere.I can't believe this place has expanded hopefully itCustomer Service was awesomeThe young lady was able to answer all questions and recommending whatever was on the menu .If you want a taste of Italy, and it's delicacy, with a lot of love put into it. I'd definitely recommend this place!!Now as far as the native bar. The service was terrible. The guy would just stand there for about 5+ minutes didn't even ask us what we wantedThen he spoke to someone else behind us . I guess it must've been a regular customer.. as he knew what she would like to drinkThat still doesn't give a reason why he didn't offer to assist us . Then continue to speak with some kids they were sitting at the table. So then I said, excuse me, can I try this? And he said I can't let you try it because it'll cost me money to give you a sample. And it's bad for our business. Now where in the heck have you ever heard of that!!! no wonder why the place was empty. With that attitude and that Service I wouldn't stay here either. All the stars are for Nonna's and the burger I am .If I could review the native bar, I wouldn't give them not even one star !!As far as for the restrooms, they really need a lot of help. Most of them were clogged.

Kens Japanese Restaurant
10006 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
On 11/29/2022 at 7:20PM, and I have just left Ken's Japanese Restaurant which is located at 10006 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 97130. I have been in the area for less than a week. When I arrived, I was told I could not dine in, which was odd, as there were several other separate parties eating there inside. I was forced to order a take-out order and leave. I generally am used to spending hundreds of dollars on omakase alone, but couldn't even get past the door. When I inquired about this, their answer was, “these customers have been loyal during covid, thus allowing access.” Is this a like a night club in Hollywood or Dubai? Even then cash is king. I left ordering otoro, bluefin tuna, and blue crab to go, which isn't the same as eating it dining in. I didn't want to order more due to the experience I have received. That has been the worst discrimination I felt in my life. In the early 80's I was one of the few Asians who grew up in Bellflower, CA and have never felt that way. I have also lived in different countries around the world and other states and have never ever experienced that. To a certain extent, shouldn't customers be treated with the same level of respect? Is this a like a night club in Hollywood or Dubai? Even then, cash is king. I just don't get it. Ken's has a lost a customer for life, as I would never consider ever going there again, nor do I recommend anyone else going.

Bright Star Thai Vegan Cuisine
9819 Foothill Blvd S, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
I've been holding off on writing a review here in hopes that the food would improve. We found this over 3 years ago and we're excited at the fact that we finally found a vegan Thai restaurant. When we first ordered we were so happy that we didn't really talk about the issue with the food. Once we kept ordering from here it became obvious that things would never get better. What's the issue with the food you ask? Well, it's simple. It's bland. We've explored the menu a little but have found items that we considered our “regular” dishes that we would get. Out of everything we've tried and each visit we find ourselves in disappointment looking for flavor and it's just not there. Most of the sauces are plain and super oily or watery. Also, speaking of oil we've noticed in the last few times we've ordered here the amount of oil used in the dishes that becomes apparent once you see it left over in the takeout dish or in your own plate is gross and ends up making us feel heavy and disgusting afterwards. A lot of the dishes (especially when you order a few things on the menu at once) taste all the same. The best way I can describe flavor of most the dishes here is: sad. This is hard to admit because if you're vegan you know how hard it is to find a decent vegan place in the Inland Empire (and in general). And when you do find a place you don't want to think of it anything other than great because you know that if something is not going right with the food that it will be one less vegan restaurant off the already short vegan restaurant list. We ignored it for a long time and kept ordering here in hopes things would get better but realistically, it hasn't.Also, if you tend to order takeout like we do, it's very much outdated. It's slightly frustrating to have to call in your order since they don't have a website NOR do they have a website with a menu (the only menu I've found is of customers who've taken photos of the menu but that can be old menus). I'm dumbfounded as to why this isn't a thing for them during this day and age (it feels like the old school days of having to call in your pizza order — those of you who had to do that know what I mean).I think our time ordering here has come to an end, at least for now. I think both me and my husband realized this after our over $85 dollar order last night and felt the whole order was a waste of money. Perhaps, we'll give it a try again in the future to see if things have changed but for now we'll still be on the search for a good Thai or Asian vegan place.
