I like going to this recently when I visit Jamul Casino. Just know you must be 21+ to enter here.The food is decently priced. If you are a casino player you can get a discount. Portions are decent and the quality is also decent. Since this is a casino, the ambiance is always a bit noisy or loud.If you're not in the mood to sit down, they can take your orders outside a kiosk stand to the right of the outside.

We ate at the Sunday Lobster Buffet. We started off with a round of lobster. It was soaked in boiling water but kinda rubbery and tastless. They had a side of garlic butter sauce but I couldnt taste the garlic. Watered down semi creamy mediteranean chicken and stale pita bread with taziki sauce that has a ranchy flavor. overcooked falafel balls. My husband said the falafel is probably the best thing there, but I disagree. The rice pilaf was flavorless. Chinese food was gross tasteless. The sushi was worse than 7-11 quality, no fresh fish or shrimp. The egg drop soup and Cream of Asparagus was flavourless and unappealing. I have a cute Pet bunny at home named Nibbler, and I wouldnt dare give this salad to her. The salad greens looks like the bits that are left over after My rabbit is done eating, pooping and peeing on it and left out for 2 days. The other salad was nasty iceberg lettuce with huge blocks of unseasoned croutons soaked in ranch. The Mediterranean pasta had no taste, no pesto, or no flavor. Then after we half ate what we had on our plate, unfinished because of the blandness, we moved on to the PRIMECUT steak :p Wrong!! The steaks texture was like a mix of a sponge, spam, and tofu, Really nasty. Worst steak Ive tasted thus far and worse than a Hungry man. As a we sit and eat our mediocre food, We look out onto the beautiful Green Jamul Scenery, as my husband reminesced about the times he worked on the casino construction about the Yummy greasy good truck that would be parked there serving bomb juicy lunch from the same view, except they had 10x delicicious food. The deserts were halfway decent, too sugary. Hard cookies and tart like treats with store bought jelly on top.I gave this place another star because we did have a good waitress, but Im very disappointed for $100. $50/ person is by far too much, even $15 is too much. Itd be lucky to probably compare to a regular $10 buffet. After we finished our lunch, I had a gross sick hungover feeling from trying to stomach all the food, like I wanted to puke.

****All my family members have been play in this casino since 2022, I am onyx member, others are pearl members. But we noticed since they starting build the hotel, the slot machine are tighter and keep getting same cards after they change the auto shuffle machine on table.****On Texas holder table, there is NO WAY we are continuously getting same cards ( for example Aces and 9, or continuously getting same card over and over)within hours. And dealer keep getting trips(3 of kind, pair aces, full house…), what’s the odds keep getting the same cards with two different stacks cards.???On Free bet table, Dealer barely busted, always getting 19-21 for hours, even the dealer keep getting 13-16, the end still keep getting 21.As onyx member, I feel there is no big difference between onyx and pearl, almost same benefit. The floor manager always miscount how much you lose or win on the table, even when they count correct on how much did you buy in(most of time they missed the count how much we buy in, you have to constantly asking after buy in more, and floor managers give you a dirty looks), and you left with $2, is that so hard to do the math for how much you lost?The drink service, what kind of rule is you are only allow to have one drink at the time? Even when you asking for one non alcohol drink and a water!!!!!I understand come to casino, you will face to lose or win, I have no problem of lose, but Fair is the key, lately I realized, even on the table game, it’s not Fair anymore, because you are playing with computer(auto Shaffer machines), I have talk to multiple onyx table players, they noticed same thing, keep getting same cards after they change to the new auto Shaffer machines.Suggestions:1. Should banned the cigar in this casino!!!2. to be fair, Draw the price in front of people!!!3. Put table in non smoking area!!!4. Better ventilation, I don’t want play with computer and getting cancer!!!5. Treat VIP as VIP!!! I became to onyx member within three or four months, you can tell I play here a lot and bid high, but I still getting low on monthly play and cash on Friday that compares to my family members ( pearl members)6. truly response reviewer’s complaint or suggestion, I read a lot reviews, all I see is we are sorry but not doing any changes!!!7. My mom lost her cell phone here, but surveillance refused to provide videos to police.8. have better and real Asians food, most of dishes in Chinese restaurant are just sweet.If Jamul casino is all care about Winning money from players to build the hotel, you are going to lose customers, people are not stupid to not noticed the changes and the quality of service.
