Oriental Chinese Restaurant
2380 W Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
This place is really good for the price. Staff is very friendly. Would recommend looking at their daily specials. Daily specials come with rice, your meat, cup of soup, egg roll, and a paper wrapped chicken. For two people getting the daily special with water and hot tea I normally spend about 20 dollars before tip. Sweet and sour chicken & orange chicken is good. Mongolian beef has alot of onions but has good flavor. Hot tea is free. This post was from 5 years ago, and since then alot has changed It has changed owners a couple of times. I believe it recently changed owners again, so hopefully, they will change it for the better. Since the first owners left, they were two asian ladies, it kind of went downhill. Its the little things such as removing the peas and carrots from the fried rice, changing the egg rolls, and changing the recipies of things; the orange chicken used to be juicy and freshly fried to a crisp. The last time i had the orange chicken it tasted like a fast food chinese takeout place, amd not in a good way.Things like that matter, so Im hoping the new people make it deserve the 5 stars I put up 5 years ago. I recently went back to get my favorite hot and sour soup, and it was okay but not great. The previous owners, with glasses, had the soup tasting bland, and I would hardly ever have the thin mushrooms in it anymore; hardly any tofu either. This last time, with different people, still no mushrooms, but more tofu; which is awesome. However, I think they put sugar because it had a sweet after taste, which was a little off-putting. I have great hope for this place because I would always recommend it to everyone and I would bring my friends and family to eat here. An elderly family friend, before she died, would always rant and rave about this place. Ill be returning soon to see how things change, hopefully for the better.

Food is delicious. This restaurant overfills containers with food. Easy to see why this establishment is extremely popular. Weve made this our Go To Chinese restaurant.

On March 20th 2023 I went to the LA Habra store at 5 pm. They were not busy.I ordered 2 items Orange Chicken and Kung Pow Chicken. Rice noodles and a side if a new item Sizzling Shrimp. We live 5 minutes away, by the time I got home most was all cold.Orange Chicken was cold and not much flavor. Kung pow Chicken was good but cold.My wife tasted the shrimp and said it smelled like it was not fresh, she threw all away.Something is wrong, use to be fresh and good flavor. That will be my last time at this store, other local Chinese restaurants are much better.
My Thai Restaurant

Im thrilled to share my raving review of this outstanding Thai restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, the exceptional service set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The seafood salad was an absolute delight - the crispness of the ingredients combined with the perfect level of spiciness created an explosion of flavors in every bite. The pad see ew was simply excellent, capturing the authentic taste that Thai cuisine is renowned for. Whats more, the restaurants impeccable decor added a touch of elegance to the atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining ambiance. What truly makes this My Thai stand out is its status as a beloved local gem. Its not just a place to enjoy incredible Thai food; its a hub where locals gather to savor flavors, create memories, and enjoy the warm sense of community. Chinatown Express
375 E Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I work down the street from here for a local school and wanted to treat my students to an end of the year luncheon.I had read reviews of Chinatown Express and decided to stop in and inquire.I explained what I needed (a tray to feed 10-12 people) and we started chatting. The restaurant doesn't open until 2:30 but I needed food for 11 am. When the owner found out it was for a school function, she immediately offered to help. What came next blew my mind. She and her husband would come in early just to make fresh food for my students. Not only that, she offered a HUGE discount and threw in so much extra. She then gave me a container of food to take home to taste everything. The next day, I came with a student to pick up the food. I was shocked to see four heaping containers of food all steaming hot. When I reminded her I only ordered one tray, she said that she and her husband wanted to give back to the community and give to a good cause. The food was delicious. I don't think I've ever had such fresh food from a restaurant ever.I can't rave enough about this business. Very few places nowadays serve quality food. But what made this place stand out was the customer service and their generosity. As many business owners know, it's hard to keep a small business profitable. It was clear that this restaurant made little money on my order, but their desire to give back to the community surpassed any type of greed.I highly recommend this business and I wish nothing but the best for the owners, who deserve success!
China Station
303 N Harbor Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
Not a chain restaurant. You are greeted at the door. When going to our seat other customers were greeting us with salutations and smiles. It is a well established community supported restaurant. Parking is free and wheel chair/ handicapped friendly. Menu was extensive and is vegan/ kosher friendly. Choices for everybody. We chose the second dinner menu which includes several appetizers, 3 main courses, soup, and best fortune cookie. The sizzling rice soup was outrageously delicious. Our server was very attentive. We did not use the restrooms but was informed there is one available if we wanted. Staff very friendly. Customers engaged in conversations easily. Offered suggestions since it was our first visit. $$ budget friendly and we shared everything. Chopsticks and fork friendly. Look forward to our next visit. Family friendly. Happy New Years.

Speedway Smog Check
2652 W Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I looked for smog check stations in and near Hacienda Heights with the highest ratings on Google and Yelp. Speedway Smog Check was rated among the top four or five in my area on both Google and Yelp. I called all of them to check and compare prices for a regular smog check for my vehicle. They all charged about the same price of $50, with one exception that charged an additional $8 for the certificate that would be electronically transmitted to the DMV. Speedway Smog Check was the one that charge the lowest price of $45 -- with a printable coupon that was available on its website. (Notes: Google shows an old $29.75 coupon for Speedway, but that coupon is from many years ago and expired a long time ago.)I drove to Speedway in the morning and dropped off my vehicle in the back of the shop that had plenty of parking spaces. The smog check specialist -- I forgot to ask for his name -- was very friendly and easy-going. I asked him to recommend a nearby restaurant, walked to a different Mexican restaurant and ate a tasty breakfast, (i.e., fried eggs with cactus,) walked back to the station in about 30 minutes, and my vehicle was ready. As I was paying for the smog check, the specialist notified me of a factory recall for a relatively minor problem on my vehicle. I have done smog checks for other vehicles in the past, but this was the first time a smog check station took the extra step to verbally notify me of a factory recall for my vehicle. So, I got a smog check at a top-rated station at a discount (with no extra charge for the certificate,) and the specialist was helpful enough to inform me of a factory recall of my vehicle. And I ate cactus for the first time. It was an all-around positive experience.P.S. In case anyone reading this review is curious: the restaurant that served the fried eggs with cactus was La Habra Heights Cafe that is across the street from the smog check station.
Feu Noodle Bar
1456 S Harbor Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I've been here today to try Creamy Uni Udon Pasta.I liked it! But the portion was small. It was like an appetizer for me.So I asked the server to bring me a menu again, and tried Bone-In Beef Short Rib Pho.It was good! I felt like I'm eating a Galbi-tang (Korean Short Rib Soup). ?But the portion was kinda big cuz it has huge size of meat on it.Anyways I'm so satisfied all the food I had today.Definitely I'll come back soon to try other food on the menu. One thing to know is that on Google, it says the business hours are from 11:00 am, but they start to take an order from 11:30 am.So if you're planning on going here for lunch, don't go at 11:00 am. Then you have to wait 30 minutes.
