Critical customer service fail.We tried to visit in Dec 2021 and its not even that they were rude, they failed to engage with us at all. We walked in and waited. Several employees saw us and looked away in the universal sign for helping you is not my job. The store was the opposite of busy. There was one customer at the register. There were two more seated at tables already. None in the drive thru. The employee at the register walked away...somewhere? The THREE employees directly in front of us within ten feet all watched her walk away, flicked their eyes to us in silent panic, and then dove into shuffling papers or staring at inert equipment. Its not like clearing my throat and saying excuse me would have caused them to notice our group. Our group finished discussing among ourselves what we intended to order. Then I counted the employees I could see from where I was standing, out loud, pointing at each of them. (Rude or reciprocal? I accept your judgement. I was hoping the three employees directly in front of us would be moved to say, Hi, let me get someone.) I counted SEVEN employees in plain sight. Since at that point no one had even said, Hey if you come through the drive through, I can take your order, our group decided that we could get much better food at New China anyway. We went to New China and got love-bombed by the one visible staff person (who found time to help cook, take all the orders, and still make customers feel like their presence was not an unexpected catastrophe) and had a delicious meal. If youre out of town, Panda Express can be a good meal, but if youre in Ripon, I highly recommend going to New China.

Found this a quaint little family Chinese restaurant feeling. The food was great. (BEEF AND BROCCOLI) Definitely going there again.

I use to really like this place, but recent customer service experiences have changed that. One time we came with the whole family, and they gave us an extra roll by accident. We thought we had ordered the roll because we ordered a lot. They left it there for several minutes and then realized they have made that mistake. They rudely came back to the table and picked it up to take it away, when we asked why they were taking it away they said its not your roll. Mind you, this is during the pandemic, they cant pick it up off our table and hand it to somebody else. I guess they were anxious to throw it away. They said they could leave it if we wanted a charge on our bill. Despite having that poor experience we decided to try them again because we liked their food and we had been coming here for years. This time we got our food to go. Upon receiving scallops that were deep fried yet cold, we wanted to exchange it for a different roll. They werent friendly or very accommodating but I am glad they did change the roll for us because we thought the scallops in our prior roll were supposed to be cooked but they were raw. Thankfully they did exchange the roll. Of course they made us pay the $0.45 difference. And no they did not apologize for undercooking the roll they were supposed to cook. The service is bad here. The food used to be really good but its declining. And its expensive! We paid $10 for five small pieces! The prices are going up and the quality is going down. We wont be back.

I visited the CVS in this shopping center. As c I shopped through this store, a woman seemed to be on every aisle that I was on. I think she thought I was possibly shoplifting. I was getting pretty irritated it made me want to walk out. I had a full basket of stuff. Maybe they are not used to that, but in either case, it was extremely unnecessary, and i had not done anything to cause this kind of suspicion. At the end of my visit, I ended up leaving paying 128 dollars, and I will never visit that store again. Also, side note the woman following me I found was the store manager, and she was training a new clerk. Its sad that things have got to a point where we feel uncomfortable shopping in a store. Good luck to any future patrons here
My Thai Cuisine

I guess Ill be the odd man out here and leave a less than stellar, but honest and fair review. If grading on a curve for my beloved Ripon where we have few choices food wise other than Mexican, fast, diner, or chinese I would have to give a 4 star rating, but this review is for foodies and people who gave had good Thai out of town. We ordered grilled short ribs which looked and tasted flavorless, for $15 a plate, including a very odd tasting papaya salad, I was underwhelmed to say the least. We also ordered crab fried rice which was decent flavor wise, but at $14 a plate, the quality of crab and portion size left a lot to be desired. We also ordered rice noodles which were perfectly cooked, but again, bland and the beef was nowhere near tender . At least the pricing and portions of this dish were reasonable, but the flavor, not so much. Again, if going out of town is not an option and its this or chinese, I would have to choose this, but it would never fly in a bigger city where we hold our ethnic food to a higher standard. Im definitely not a food snob, I didnt get this body being super picky, but I dont think you get what you pay for here unless you are grading on a huge curve . $53 for lunch for 3 that none of us finished would have been better spent at canal Street or something.
