Yin Keng Restaurant
8840 Lakewood Dr, Windsor, CA 95492, United States
I went with a friend shortly after Yinkeng reopened, and was deeply disappointed. The former Yinkeng was my gold standard for Chinese food; it not only had delicious food (my favorites were the broccoli beef, fried rice and crab dumplings), but it had a wonderful staff who provided professional and friendly service. They remembered you, were always happy to see you, and regularly checked in to make sure you had everything you needed, without it being too frequent to be annoying. Also the interior designing of the restaurant had given the atmosphere a warm and homey feeling while also presenting the beautiful cultural aspects of a Chinese restaurant. However this New Yinkeng not only had a sterile neutrality to its unappealing atmosphere, the food is disgusting. Panda Express has better and cheaper food in comparison, and friendlier staff. Not only that, but the service was terrible. There was none of the original staff or owners. I had to ask for more water and I never got it. The new servers didnt seem to know what they were doing and were unfriendly. Im never wasting my money there again, and Im deeply disappointed with the change.

Tian Yuen Asian Cuisine
610 McClelland Dr, Windsor, CA 95492, United States
I am not sure how this is considered a foodie favorite! This place is unique I guess in that it is not traditional authentic Chinese or American Chinese. It is like some kind of fusion between health food and Chinese that when horribly wrong. My wife and I are here and did not like it at all. It was literally the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. We did not even finish our meals we just paid the bill and got to go boxes for the dogs. One of our dogs even refused to eat it. Which makes me wonder what they put in it? I really have been impressed with restaurants in the Windsor California area. This one is so disappointing that I wish that it would get closed down and moved somewhere else as to not spoil the good name and reputation of my beloved Windsor Town Green! It is also important to note that while my specific waitress was very polite and had good hospitality the owners here rude to the waitress and not inviting towards the guests. I would not go here again even if the meal was paid for.

Olivers Market - Windsor
9230 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor, CA 95492, United States
Olivers is like a toy store for foodies. Its a tall order to try and describe all of the things I love about Olivers because there are way too many to list in a short review. They have a large selection of local products, a mouth watering self serve hot food and salad bar, fresh cooked BBQ out front (weather permitting), excellent meat and fish departments, a fully stocked deli and cheese counter, with knowledgeable and helpful staff members. The in-store tavern is a great place to sit and eat some of the goodies youve purchased and they have live music there regularly. It is the perfect place to pick up a picnic lunch or to take friends and family to grab a quick bite because there is something for everyone. The store is a short few minutes walk from Windsors Town Green. This makes it a very convenient place to grab lunch or dinner when attending one of the many events or taking the kiddos to play at the park on the Green.

Tomi Thai
426 Emily Rose Cir, Windsor, CA 95492, United States
This Thai restaurant was so good at one point. Last summer we were in the Windsor area we ate there three times during our stay in our timeshare.A second trip to our timeshare...we put Tomis on the list of places to go to. Food was 5 stars then. But this past week end they have disappointed us BIG time. The food went downhills where we decided we will NOT be going back. You are a THAI restaurant NOT a Chinese restaurant. If you are to change your cuisine...then change your name to Tomis Chinese Cuisine. How can you claim to be a Thai restaurant, not a single sprig of Thai basil in the food. Please dont insult our palates with a wanna be Thai food.
