Yoshinoya - Maywood
4407 Slauson Ave, Maywood, CA 90270, United States
If i could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is beyond horrible. All the employees work as if it was their first day on the job. The drive thru line wrapped around the block and inside was just as bad. Slow orders, wrong orders, missing items. I asked for my money back and the manager was upset about it and snatched my card out of my hand. If you hate your job so much, go find a new place to work. Also, if you know the stove isnt working, which you need to cook the beef. Then put up a sign, dont have me order and then make me wait 30 mins to tell me you cant complete my order. Make it make sense. Someone shut this place down, or get new management. Most of the reviews are negative and true. Dont waste your time and money.
Krudos Sushi & Modern Kitchen
4950 Slauson Ave, Maywood, CA 90270, United States
My wait time was 50 minutes.Enough said. Right? When asking the waitress about my order, she said it WOULD be longer. With no modesty, she went to ask a neighboring customer if he was willing to wait a little while & when he agreed, she said, BECAUSE PEOPLE GET MAD AND DONT UNDERSTAND THAT THE CHEF ISNTA MAGICIAN. That was a little funny. The majority of food is RAW, with no exception to my order. It shouldnt take from 40-50 minutes to serve 3 plates of raw food.Management informed that there was no website, nor paper menus to take, to call in an order ahead of time, because they have not had their Grand Opening yet. Okay. They dont seemed to be prepared for customers, so I wont be recommending this place. Sorry, behave kindly & promptly. It matters.

Many shops in the center. Lots of parking spaces but it does tend to get filled up during holiday weekends. The only thing I dont like about this center is how many solicitors/beggars there are. There are a few bums that regularly hang out in the parking lot asking for money. Every once and a while you will see a family holding a sign asking for handouts. In the evenings there are usually always people walking around asking if you want to buy something (rosaries, air freshener, brooms, dustpans, pillows, candy.. etc). There are days when I visit this center multiple times a day, continually being bombarded by people asking for money can get frustrating. Other than that, this center has some good shops and good places to eat.
