Ohshima Japanese Cuisine

The best Japanese restaurant in Orange. Very expensive but hey, if money is no object, this is it. Omakase lunch is $80. Do it.
Tabi-ji Japanese Cuisine
665 N Tustin St Suite E-F, Orange, CA 92867, United States
This is the second time we’ve gone to this Japanese restaurant. Oh so good, I always have a glass of plum wine with Japanese food. My husband had the scallop dinner and I had The filet mignon. Both came with your choice of soup and we chose miso, a salad and rice. Both of us got three good size shrimp with our dinners plus vegetables. Our server was Noriko and she was excellent, especially because she had quite a few tables.
Koisan Japanese Cuisine Restaurant
1132 E Katella Ave a11, Orange, CA 92867, United States
Worse experience ever! If I could give it a zero stars I would. I made a phone order with Katelyn of what states on their website Kids Meal Chicken Teriyaki w/shrimp and Veggie tempura for $6.99 I asked for no shrimp because my son is allergic as well as 8pc CA Rolls for myself. The cashier confirmed the order. About 40 mins go by I called to ask if it is ready because I only get a 30 min lunch break and I have to drop off my sons meal at home. Katelyn tells me Oh I meant to call you but its one or the other chicken or tempura. A whole 40 mins and she couldnt call me? I told her that is not what your website states and what we confirmed. Her response was Ill fix it. I get there and my order is wrong. She tells me Oh yea its only one or the other so we have tempura for you. At this point I am upset, I am on a 30 min lunch, she did not fix it like she said she would and there I am with Katelyn trying to give me something I did not order! She tells the chef pieces of it and said I thought I ordered chicken and veggie tempura. I jumped in and said tell him the truth that is what I ordered and you CONFIRMED IT with me. At this point the chef begins to giggle and lie stating their website isnt working when clearly it was! I had their site up on my phone! Then he said Shes new & in training so I added thats not my fault. He leaves to the back with her & another employee passes I asked her if Katelyn was new? She said No. They are full of it. The chef comes back & says he was going to charge me an extra $5 for the veggie tempura. I said forget it that is not right and I left! Money isnt a problem! Its the fact that they lied and tried covering it up. I ordered what they are advertising and their employee confirmed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE!
Sachi Japanese Cuisine
474 Orange St, Redlands, CA 92374, United States
Sachi is a small little sushi/Japanese restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. It has the fairly standard menu of a wide variety of different rolls, ranging from the some-what traditional to the fully Americanized. Food has always been good. Service can at times be a little slow but is generally quite attentive and they do pay attention to regulars: Ive gone with friends who eat there weekly and the staff has their usual drink orders ready almost immediately. If youre looking for a good lunch place, this is a strong option.
Yoshiharu Ramen
1891 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92865, United States
Yoshiharu restaurant was good. I ordered spicy famous famous. The food was real spicy and like it. Also, I added extra noddle for sure! The taste was good and I liked it but because of price I gave them 4 stars. The price for Ramen was a little bit higher than another places. I had Ramen in many places and for this reason, I think it could be lower. Totally I like it and recommend to anyone who like Japanese food.
Heemo sushi
1632 E Katella Ave, Orange, CA 92867, United States
Best and freshest! I live in Corona and work in Anaheim Hills. I have to Japanese Restaurants within walking distance from my work. I will go the opposite direction from my home, to Orange for Heemos food. Customer service is exceptional as well. Also if youre ordering for pick up, order directly from the website. Door dash and grub hub charge them really high to go through them.
Sosogu Ramen & Japanese BBQ
360 Orange St, Redlands, CA 92374, United States
Moving back to the states after spending 4 years in Japan Ive been looking to scratch an itch. Getting ramen after spending time in Japan has until now been a rather disappointing experience. Most people have no idea what good ramen even is.The most important part of a good tonkatsu ramen is the broth it must be thick, creamy, and coat your mouth with the consummated pork fat that is full of flavor. They got it, I could complain about it just not being the same as the ramen in Japan or not fully authentic but that honestly doesnt matter its delicious and checks all my boxes for a good tonkatsu broth. The noodles were good, I saw a review before coming here comparing them to spaghetti noodles and Im not sure what kind of spaghetti noodles this person is eating because these are very obviously an egg based noodle and not a spaghetti noodles by any sense. The chasu was delicious its kind of hard to mess up pork belly but Ive seen it done. Overall I have no complaints about my ramen after being consistently disappointed trying to find some half decent tonkatsu ramen on this side of the Pacific.I had a chasu bao as well it wasnt a traditional bao by any means and was served like a taco but that was also phenomenal and tasted delicious. The service was quick easy and friendly. The food got to us quickly and the whole place was clean with a slick hip vibe. Looks like they have yakiniku here as well and judging by the quality of their other food Im sure it doesnt disappoint. I would love to come back but unfortunately I live up north. The photos of the ramen may not look the most pretty because I decided to take a photo after we started eating. On the left is the garlic shrimp ramen and on the right is the black garlic ramen. There is also a photo of the chasu bao.

I left hungry and I spent too much on VERY LITTLE. Their prices are higher than most all Japanese restaurants in the area.
I Luv Sushi TOO
4715 W Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92868, United States
I love sushi, tambien!*Social Distancing review*I Luv Sushi Too, from the people behind the original I Luv Sushi in Lakewood, replaces their previous venture, Bowls by 39 Degrees, during the poke bowl boom of yesteryear. I always found the food & service to be excellent from Bowls by 39 Degrees, so during our hard times, I made sure to support the staff with my business for lunch.Samurai lunch special (3 hand rolls w/ miso soup & salad)-For $10+, guests can choose any 3 hand rolls from a designated 11 options, complete with miso soup & salad. Immediately, spicy yellowtail & spicy albacore became destined to be my to-go lunch. Generous chunks of sweet, fresh fish greeted this hungry consumer of all things seafood. Ive had larger hand rolls, but not at this price. The hot miso soup & crisp salad completed a perfectly crafted lunch.Service was excellent! Brandon quickly & expertly worked his magic behind the counter, talking shop with me as he went about his business. The owners remembered me from the Grand Opening of Bowls by 39 Degrees, to which I was their very first customer, receiving a free shirt for being so.Parking is at the 99 Ranch plaza, with I Luv Sushi Too located in between Cauldron Ice Cream & Its Boba Time Cafe.Got the lockdown blues? Then, get your daily dose of omega 3s at I Luv Sushi Too. The fish & seafood is fresh, and the lunch specials are very affordable. Adding to that the friendly service, naturally, makes I Luv Sushi Too a restaurant of which I highly recommend!
