Love Ramen
18635 Soledad Canyon Rd #104, Canyon Country, CA 91351, United States
Ate in this place at Dinner time, very small place, lady waitress told us 30min wait, w/c we waited. We were seated on a corner where they added a tiny table, chair and tiny table was DIRTY, requested the waitress to wipe it, she wiped the chair and table with wet cloth and left it as it is WET!, we have to ask for paper towel for US to wipe it dry.Time to order! We ordered Ramen and our little one just wanted to share so we asked for extra plate, lady waitress said they DONT HAVE EXTRA PLATES or BOWLS AVAILABLE!!?There we're literally only 15 costumers dined in!!! We even asked if they have to go styrofoam plates or bowls she said just small plastic to go box w/c we agreed to have BUT AT THE END SHE DID NOT GIVE US ANY!!!For our water: we had 2 regular cups, 1 styrofoam cup and 1 small metal cup which seemed to be they're employee cup?? BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF CUP AS WELL!!!!Food wasn't as good as the other Love Ramen branches. Ramen noodle was half cooked and broth was TOO SALTY!!!BOTTOM LINE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS BRANCH!!!DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRANCH AT ALL! VERY BAD COSTUMER SERVICE!!! That lady waitress needs to be trained!!
Teriyaki Express
3034 H Dela Rosa Sr St, Soledad, CA 93960, United States
A hidden gem!!I stumbled on Teriyaki Express as a complete why not moment and Im happy to report it was a gamble Im glad I took.I tried just the safe can chicken teriyaki meal and while the cool time was a bit lengthy the food was more than worth the wait. What I cant express here enough is the freshness of the food itself! The broccoli perfectly crisp, the home made pickled cucumbers(a surprise delight as I hate cucumbers normally) and rice all delicious and with very generous portions! This isnt even counting much better than expected chicken. All and all it was incredible surprise and Ive since gone around 4-5 times each time trying something new with different friends so they can also try for themselves (The tonkatsu is by far my favorite at this point).

Sen Noodle House

My visit to Sen House Noodles in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, California, was truly a gastronomic delight. As a devoted connoisseur of Asian cuisine, I embarked on a culinary journey that left an indelible mark on my palate. The Hot and Zesty Noodles, a testament to culinary craftsmanship, showcased a meticulous balance of heat and flavor. The noodles were impeccably cooked, retaining that ideal springiness, while the spiciness of the dish was a symphony of taste sensations that titillated my taste buds with each forkful. The intricacy of flavors in these noodles is a testament to the chef's expertise. Now, let's discuss the Curry Fried Rice - a masterpiece in its own right. The fragrance of the curry enveloped my senses as soon as it arrived at the table. It was a culinary sonnet, harmonizing perfectly cooked rice with a curry sauce that was nothing short of ambrosial. The addition of vegetables and protein, if chosen, elevated this dish to a level of textural perfection that few can achieve.Yet, it wasn't just the food that impressed. The attentive and amiable service added another layer of satisfaction to this dining experience. The restaurant's cozy ambiance provided the ideal backdrop for this culinary journey. In the realm of Asian cuisine, Sen House Noodles stands as a beacon of excellence, a place where the artistry of food reaches its zenith. My recommendation? Dive into their Hot and Zesty Noodles and savor the Curry Fried Rice, for they are nothing less than culinary poetry in motion. A must-visit for any discerning food enthusiast.
O Sushi
18812 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
We have spent thousands ordering regularly but there is an ongoing issue that they are not addressing. At least twice now our order has arrived incomplete. 2 pieces of sushi roll missing, 1 piece of sashimi missing. Same omissions every time, but different delivery drivers. This indicates the restaurant are not putting the advertised quantity in.When we have called, they have blamed Doordash. However even if that were true, this is partly the restaurant's fault as they don't seal their bags, unlike other restaurants. We strongly suggest purchasing some cheap food tampering stickers from Amazon and sealing every bag properly starting now. Then, if food arrives “missing” we will know it isn't the drivers. Or if the sticker is removed, we will know it is the drivers. One way or another, the restaurant has so far failed to resolve this, and they have the power to easily do so.Last night when $$ of food was missing, we called, asked for the manager, were put on hold, hung up on, called back, went to voicemail, called again later, put on hold, then finally we were promised the manager would call us back. You guessed it, the manager never called. We tried calling one final time today before leaving a review. Phone goes to a “voicemail not set up” message. For all the money we have given them, short changing us on food, or not protecting the food from tampering, and ignoring our request for a call back, and making it impossible to call you, means we are leaving this reluctant 1-star review. We've tried literally everything and given the restaurant every opportunity. If the issue goes away, we will adjust our review in the future. We hope this feedback helps.
Achita Sushi
22913 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, United States
Horrible experience: We placed an 60.00 order to pickup. I arrived to pickup our order to find out half of our items wasnt even in the bags. If I had not checked we would have not had our order. Well there computer wasnt working. I gave my credit card to pay, the woman didnt return for approx. 15 minutes, I asked is there a problem, my credit card is fine. She ignore me. Finally after paying more attention to the cash register I noticed 3 people standing around the register hearing someone say we have to reboot the system. Then somebody was on the phone for 15 minutes trying to get the system back up. It was finally about 30 minutes before I finally said I cant wait all night for your system. The MGR. had the gull to say well if you had cash we wouldnt have this problem. REALLY, I couldnt believe his statement in todays day and age. First off they didnt tell me they only accept cash because there system is a WINDOWS 95 system. Our rolls would have been soggy & the hot items, soup, chicken would have cold. I Explained I have a 50.00 bill on me. I can pay that and come back tomorrow for the difference. He/MGR, grabbed the bags and said no money no food. REALLY. This wasnt my problem. I will never ever go there again. They dont care about there customers. The food on peoples plate didnt look very good. There loss, not mine. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT.
Soledad Mission Shopping Center
2149 H Dela Rosa Sr St, Soledad, CA 93960, United States
This is a small shopping center with lots of parking spaces. The center consists of 1 grocery store, the largest in this town. FoodsCo, a low end discount store with limited variety and with the exception of 1 manager (male) and a few cashiers, the remaining employees are neither helpful nor knowledgeable. The center includes a CVS store / pharmacy, a Goodwill thrift store, OReillys, a laundromat, Mechanics Bank, 24 hr gym, physical therapy office, tax service, hair and nails shop, Dennys, a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and a Subway restaurant. One of my favorite shops, Lalos, is located next door to one of my other favorite shops, the smoke shop. I think Soledad has the potential of being one of those popular and charming small town getaways if the entire town was removed and replaced with a whole new town. Hmmm...
Love Sushi
18521 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
Overall a great experience and most of the food is good, but I have some grievances with a couple dishes. The Jumbo Scallop Tempura just tastes like heavily deep fried fish sticks and unfortunately, I think most of their appetizers are lacking. The Banana Tempura has so much Parsley that it covers the plate and it has a tendency to stick to the Ice Cream, which makes it more of an annoyance than a neat garnish to make the plate look better. However, you didnt come to a sushi restaurant for bad appetizers and ice cream. Every sushi roll Ive tried at Love Sushi has been delicious and worth the money. My favorites are the 911 roll, the sushi tempura roll, and all of the baked rolls. This is overall a great sushi restaurant. There are a lot of options for sushi restaurants in the area, but I believe this is one of the better picks.
Island Pacific Seafood Market
19387 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
This is the largest Asian market in the SCV, with a focus on Philippine products. It currently has 2 eateries inside (although it had as many as 6 pre-COVID) in addition to its market. There is also a Goldilocks bakery inside.Crab Mentality is a play on words with the mindset to bring down those who have climbed the ladder of success (crabs will try to pull down those who have climbed up in an attempt to pull themselves up). My family went there a few times before COVID; the food is great but it can get expensive so we dont eat there too often. They will cook up fresh seafood (mainly shrimp and crab) that you eat at your table over butcher/wax paper (because it can get messy fast). They also offer lobster, fish and shellfish. The other eatery is a point point joint -- you point to what you want (with either your finger or your lips, if youre so inclined... of course verbal requests are also fine). We come here at least once a week, as its affordable and ready to eat. They offer the common variety of Filipino dishes but specialize with grilled foods. And this is one of the few places that offer goat (kambing) if youre into it. You can sometimes see them grilling the food right at the front as you wait in line. The market has a wide assortment of Asian vegetables and products that you wont find in the mainstay supermarkets like Ralphs or Vons. So youll find more varieties of rice, certain meat products that you wont anywhere else. The prices are consistent with other Filipino markets in the area - and unfortunately there arent many others unless you choose to make the trip deeper into LA County. Aside from Island Pacific, the only other chain is Seafood City, which is nowhere close to SCV.Goldilocks is a major bakery chain in the Philippines. Currently when I am able to go to the market (evenings), its usually closed (while the rest of the market is open). Maybe its due to COVID? The market offers a few baked goods from local vendors but they dont offer the cakes, pies, or other sweets that Goldilocks does. My familys favorite is the egg pie.If youre Filipino, you probably already know about the place, especially if youre cooking Filipino. But if youre not, but still interested in tasting Filipino food or sampling some products from the Philippines here in the Santa Clarita Valley, this is the place to go!
