Walked in for lunch, very clean surroundings stepped up to menu. Here you pick your protein; beef, chicken, 1/2 n 1/2, also all white meat chicken small premium. Then your size and base. I choose the all white rice with streamed veggies. The plate size I ordered came with a small cabbage salad and 1/2 an orange. Protein was 7oz. all for about $9.75. Service has changed a bit in that they assemble the plates all up front. The veggies, rices and meats are pre-prepped off and placed in holding containers for the customers order. I liked it, you see the food being assembled and thats a layer of extra trust for me. Last they offer green onions for top garnish if you want. Sauces still were there and the drink counter. I found some fruit punch Revive and sat to enjoy. Ill be back soon. Thanks for the friendly service.

I was shocked to find a line of 200+ people on a Wednesday at 11:15am. Juneteenth but still. I lined up at 11:15am. Placed order at 1:20pm when finally at the front of the line. Food came at 1:30pm. Over two hours all in, on a weekday. Very hot sunny day. They were happy to sell us a branded umbrella for $15. How about putting up sunshades folks?I have never honestly seen a slower line in my life. I was pretty upset by the time I got to the front but the slow cashiers were very nice and the food came within minutes after finally ordering. It was incredible. My only quibble was the meat was luke warm at best. Obviously it had been cooked earlier in the morning but damn it was still great. The pulled pork. Mac and cheese. Cucumbers. Pickes. Tri tip. And the half chicken. I would order them all again. Really great food. So was it worth it? Once in awhile, if you have hours to kill and money to spend then yeah. $150 for 3 people with zero drinks. Pricey. But damn that was some good BBQ! Hard pass on the overly sweet potato salad though. Hate sweet foods which are supposed to be savory. Also the corn was clearly prepared hours before and was soggy so skip that too!!BTW, despite the false reviews about extensive booze offerings here, there is no full bar (beer and two wines only), parking is a nightmare and your car may be towed so be careful where you park and be prepared to spend hours here (beyond max meter limit in SJC).

We heard great things about this place. The second we walked in the mean old lady asked us to look at the menu and let us know if we are okay before we sit down. I said looks great can we sit down and then she said we have to wait 30 minutes, while only three tables were occupied and the rest of the restaurant was completely empty. Anyways Im no stranger to eating out and I wish them all the best but that was a totally awkward experience.
