Welcome to another joke of an Asian restaurant in this area. God knows how they got 4.5 stars(those who know, know haha).∆ Short review:Poor quality food and service. The picture I posted is of spicy pork belly which pretty much sums up the place. Was expecting marinaded pork belly but instead got boiled and soggy pork belly in an aluminum tray with terrible sauce or whatever it was. Overpriced.∆ Long review:[ Food quality ]First off, their all you can eat kbbq menu is formatted quite strangely, in increments of $30, 35, 40. Because the upper levels are supposedly premium items but spicy tofu soup and marinated chicken is in the upper level? I dont understand why that would be valued over beef. Speaking of beef, its the worst quality Ive ever had at a kbbq, and I dont have high expectations for all you can eat beef. I mainly ordered bulgogi because it masked the terrible quality.[ Service ]Now for their service, they clearly dont know what theyre doing. They were mostly in their mid twenties, so not even highschoolers with their first job or anything, yet they lacked basic serving skills. - They frequently walked by when I was raising my hand.- Turned the burner down without explaining why when we kept turning it up because it cooked too slow and was wasting our time(theres a two hour limit for all you can eat and they did this about 10 times).- Placed a large dish full of raw meat on another bowl that had food inside because lack of table space... Seriously. It was clearly unstable and simply a weird thing to do. Plus, there were definitely other ways to make space.- Dont turn on fans above us even though there was clearly too much smoke. And keep in mind there are a lot of tables also cooking in close proximity.About the only good thing about this place is decent interior? But still terrible for a Korean restaurant.

I liked the idea but I did not really enjoy the items I got unfortunately. I lived in both Korea and Hawaii, where typical items on the menu would be found. I bought some wings that showed one fire sign and although they were so flavorful and filling they were not spicy at all. I was disappointed typically wings in Korea had a kick to them even when displayed as mild. The mochi donuts lacked the mochi consistency that I enjoyed while eating mochi donuts in Hawaii (had some of the best mochi donuts there). Additionally I had an boba tea that was way too sweet and also had flan in it. I liked the idea but it was way too sweet for my liking. I really liked the idea of this location in Santa Maria, and hopefully they continue to improve.

Such an amazing little restaurant atmosphere.I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere (although the music could be turned down quite a bit, but very chill mellow music.) Everything was delicious and presented so nicely on the plates and by the waitress who honestly did an amazing job as waitress and hostess. The wonderful thing that will make some people cringe and others like myself smile with glee is the little appetizer of garlic fried peanuts made in house, that they bring you as your food is being prepared amazing sliced and fried garlic in the peanuts tha make for the most amazing crunch treat.Get some of the delicious pork bbq skewers that are great if you love grilled pork.Tapsilog- is an adobo type stir fried beef with garlic fried rice and two eqqsLongsilog- is a longanisa (sweet pork sausage) grilled and crispy deliciousness served with two eggs and garlic rice. The Salty Brigade Kitchen

From the second we entered the restaurant we were treated like royalty. Front of house staff was very approachable. Saw that I had a golden retriever puppy and informed me of their dog friendly patio and menu to boot. This was a first. Chef Mike visited our table and introduced himself. A very tenured chef that is constantly monitoring international news and weather to anticipate supply chain Villegas with fresh seafood and produce. He uses the best of the best ingredients in his fusions creating a very unique cuisine and culinary dining experience. All in an unassuming location that is purely central coast. Inwas blown away by the Korean short rib tacos with homemade kimchi. The bread pudding for dessert certainly followed suit. So much love goes into each dish. I enjoyed watching the expressions on the faces of other customers when their dishes arrived. They were clearly as impressed as I was. Keep up the great work chef Mike and staff. This is my new go to with guests from out of town. Prices were very reasonable making this a perfect destination to impress without breaking the bank. Additionally noticed an extensive kids menu with excellent options.
Mountain Mikes Pizza
1729 N Broadway, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
We ordered a Lg. Mt. Veggiemore and substituted the tomatos for pepperoni. Overall the Pizza had an excellent smoky flavor, however, the crust was so thick that the dough never cooked past 1 of the crust, it is not safe to eat uncooked dough, I actually was nauseous from it. The green peppers were cut way too big, overtook the pie.Maybe its preference but we also felt it needed more pizza sauce. That being said, if we ordered it again, would have to go like this: Mt. Veggiemore, substitute tomatos for pepperoni, thinner crust (not an option), much smaller pieces of peppers or none at all, and extra sauce. Now consider the substitution of pepperoni for tomato raised the price by $3.00 ????? I could have gotten an all meat for the same price! Add $5.00 coupon, should be $21.75 + tax 1.58 = $23.33, If I eliminate an item, such as the green peppers do I get an additional $3.00 off, considering it was added when substituting? We paid $27.18We stopped going to Pizza Hut because of uncooked pizza dough. We live just a stones throw from your store and only just tried it now because others have said similar things, the price, too thick......Your ad claims the best pizza in Santa Maria, you have heavy competition out there, Blaze, LaVera, Klondike, etc.Santa Maria is finicky .....just saying!
HaHa Sushi
4869 S Bradley Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93455, United States
Disappointed with our experience at Ha Ha Sushi in Orcutt, California. Living just blocks away, we were excited to dine in. However, the service fell short at every step. Despite ordering a large Japanese beer, it arrived sans glass. While my wife received her Ell Roll and we ordered an appetizer of shrimp, my Cowboy roll was forgotten. Though the manager rectified the mistake with Wasabi and ginger, the delay was frustrating. Eventually receiving my order, I was irked but maintained composure. The waitress overlooked my dinner until my wife finished hers. Even the payment process was flawed, returning without a pen for the credit card transaction. Despite the subpar service, I tipped 20% out of respect for the kitchen staff, recognizing their culinary prowess. Although the food was enjoyable, the dismal service left a bitter taste. With only four tables occupied, the focus seems to be on takeout, likely due to the poor in-person experience. While the sushi chefs shined, the waitresss incompetence marred our evening. Leaving a handwritten note on the receipt, I doubt it will prompt improvement. Regrettably, I wont be returning for dine-in service, opting for takeout to avoid further disappointment. And for the worst waitress ever, Ive written so you may understand why you should seek employment elsewhere and stop costing the owner customers.-In the land of Orcutt, near the sea,Theres a sushi joint, oh what a spree! But alas, our visit was not so swell,At Ha Ha Sushi, we didnt fare well.Just two blocks away, we strolled with glee,To enjoy some rolls, my wife and me.But the service, oh dear, what a mess,Our waitress, she caused quite the stress.A Japanese beer, we did decree,But no glass arrived, oh woe is me!Ell Roll for her, Cowboy for me,But mine got lost, cant you see? With shrimp in tow, and rolls in hand,The waitress forgot, it wasnt planned. No Cowboy roll, I sat and moped,While my wifes roll, she quickly scoped. But wait, theres more, the saga unfolds,My dinner arrived, after stories were told.No pen for the card, oh what a plight,Yet still, I tipped, with all my might. The sushi chefs, they worked with flair,But our waitresss blunders filled the air.Handwritten notes, in hope of change,But improvement seems beyond her range. So takeout it is, our lesson learned,For in-person dining, our hearts now spurned.Though the food was grand, the service sour,At Ha Ha Sushi, in Orcutts bower. All in all, I will probably never eat here ever again. There are lots of good places around. This one is not but only because our worthless waitress.
China One Restaurant
1140 E Clark Ave STE 170, Santa Maria, CA 93455, United States
If you happen to be traveling and think of Koreans going to a Chinese restaurant, youre in trouble. Its really greasy and makes you wonder what its made of. Its the perfect place to drop your money. Even if youre hungry, its best to find somewhere else. When it comes to Jjajangmyeon, my daughter, who wakes up from her sleep, takes a bite and leaves it there. lol
BBQ Land
1975 S Broadway A, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
This restaurant has come a long ways. They started off small and once the people demanded more the restaurant was the only other option. BBQ LAND not only prepares exceptional dishes, they understand the spirit of Santa Maria BBQ. The combination of great BBQ and keeping in with the traditions of Santa Maria BBQ, its no shock customers continue to return. What I really appreciate about BBQ LAND is they never waiver their integrity and invest in premium ingredients as well as cooking methods. No wonder theyve been around as long as they have. Take it from someone that takes BBQ seriously, if you want properly done BBQ, go to BBQ Land.In addition, Im confused why people complain about quantity. If you want to consume 2000 calories for $5, just go to McDonalds. I prefer quality over quantity any day of the week. Just saying..
Wingstop
560 Betteravia Rd d, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
Update: 06/12/2022 DO NOT GO HERE, just go to Buffalo Wild Wings.... I hadnt been here in 4 years, decided to give it a try again, first of all the person/cashier was so rude and unprofessional, he was so distracted that asked me to repeat my order so many times. Second of all there was nobody in the restaurant only me, he said it was going to be 30 minutes for a 10 piece meal with fries, after the 30 minutes they kept saying 5 minutes every time i asked after a WHOLE HOUR i asked for a refund and left, no other customers came in i dont know why they took a whole hour and didnt even have my order... Thinking back getting a refund and leaving was a smart decision because this place is DISGUSTING even the handle on the door is DIRTY AND STICKY, you can look into their kitchen and see how disgusting it is, the workers prepping your food grab their phone then wipe their hands on the back of their jeans and proceed to place their nasty hands on your fries, since i was there for an hour without food i was watching all their nasty practices and dirty kitchen, not only that every square inch of the restaurant is disgusting i have no idea how they arent reported for being so dirty amd unsanitary. I CANT NOT WARN YOU ENOUGH, DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA WAIT AND HOUR FOR YOUR MEAL AND GET FOOD POISONING!
