Sams Noodle Station

One of the popular Vietnamese noodle soup restaurant. The taste not as good as before. But still keep the average . The fired rice cake added egg is very yummy. Very warm service . Reasonable price. Coconut dessert is very good.
Panera Bread

I picked up some chicken noodle soup, group size to go. To say it feeds four people is false advertising. I got four small containers, each with two noodles and barely any chicken in them. I was so disappointed to see what the group size was giving me for $27 and some change. I also got a small Mac and cheese ($8) and holy moly was that small too. Youd get more for less at a sit down restaurant ordering a side of Mac and cheese. Dont do what I did. Save your money and get food elsewhere where theyll give you more for your buck.

We regularly go to this restaurant and we always have the best experience. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and sweet. My daughter loves their miso soup and everything we have tried is delicious. We drive across the bridge to go there, because it is the best sushi place weve been to in the Bay area.
Sichuan Sizzling hotpot
1257 E Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91801, United States
One of my favorite Sichuan Pot in the area. They use plenty of food and sauce inside the broth. For the Fish fillet and Frog in Sichuan Mala Broth, its the size for two or more people with many fish fillet and frogs inside the large pot. Though its a little bit spicy, the proteins are pretty good with the fantastic taste. The staff told me that their boss asked them to add enough food to ensure customers satisfaction. What a great experience of dining here. Attention to adjust the spicy level for any one of the pots. The tomato based hot pot is also a good choice as a non spicy option and might be too much if you are alone to be here.
LILYS KITCHEN

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable Asian restaurant that my father, a discerning dentist, highly recommended. This five-star establishment exceeded all expectations, offering an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was both sophisticated and inviting, with elegant decor that seamlessly blended traditional and modern elements. The staff greeted us warmly, providing impeccable service throughout our visit. Their attentiveness and knowledge about the menu were truly commendable. The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. We started with a selection of appetizers that included perfectly steamed dumplings and a refreshing seaweed salad. The main courses were equally impressive: the sushi rolls were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, while the pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. One of the standout dishes was the Peking duck, which was incredibly tender and flavorful, served with traditional accompaniments that enhanced every bite. For dessert, we indulged in a delightful mango sticky rice that provided a sweet and satisfying end to our meal. The restaurants attention to detail, from the presentation of the dishes to the seamless service, was truly exceptional. Its clear that they take pride in offering an unparalleled dining experience. This restaurant is a gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for an extraordinary Asian cuisine experience. My fathers recommendation was spot on, and I cant wait to return.

Nabemono Shabu Shabu
27 E Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801, United States
We were all excited to dig into some Shabu Shabu. But! We end up leaving with disappointment.Right from the moment we walked in, things felt off. The staff seemed totally uninterested. We hung around near the entrance until someone finally noticed and showed us to our seats. After that, it was like we didnt exist – they just plonked utensils on our table and vanished. We ordered using our phones.Food came pretty quick, Ill give them that. But it was the same story – the servers dropped off our stuff and disappeared like ninjas. The food was decent, veggies were fresh, and there was a good amount of meat.Though the short rib was a bit dry and tough for my liking.Later, we messaged some friends whod been here before. Turns out, you can get more servings of the veggies!!Who knew? Certainly not us!No one bothered to mention it, probably cause the servers barely talked to us.So, here we are, feeling kinda ripped off and having to tip on top of it – super frustrating ?Come eat Shabu Shabu with high expectationsThe result was that he left with disappointment. There is a strange atmosphere as soon as you enter the restaurantThe waiter didnt want to pay attention to our feelings.I waited at the door for a while before someone came to greet me.He didn't say much and asked us to be the bar counter. He put the cutlery on our seats and never spoke to us again.Ordering by mobile phoneThe food is served pretty quicklyHowever, the same thing happened. The waiter put the things down without saying a word and immediately left.I have to say that the quality of the food is pretty good. The vegetables are very fresh and the meat is generous. But the meat of short rib is a bit oldI personally don't love it very muchAfterwards, after eating, I sent messages to my friends who came over.I just found out that the dishes in this restaurant can be refilled. We have absolutely no idea! The clerk didnt mention it either because they didnt even talk to us!There is a kind of disadvantage and not being servedFeeling unwilling to tip even though you have to tip?
Chili Mee Noodle Bar

Honestly so surprised with how good everything is here at SUCH AN AFFORDABLE PRICE. I feel like affordable eats are hard to find these days and $7 for a bowl of noodles is incredible. The noodles are so incredibly flavorful - so can’t really pick a favorite because they’re all so different, but I really liked that the spicy noodles are actually spicy! The wontons are made in house and so flavorful too. I’m going to have to come back and try the wontons spicy, since I tried them in the soup this time. The fried chicken was also really yummy and the steamed chicken was perfect to top the noodles. Don’t forget the limeade if you love more sour drinks - it was SO GOOD. The owner is in here working hard, greeting the customers, and checking in on customers. Love to see that! Simple, clean, modern restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!
Zhenwei Kitchen

Yes, theres sushi and Chinese food at this restaurant. Dont expect authentic sushi but it honestly hits the spot. Generous portions here and the prices are good. Service was good although we were the only table. They served us loose leaf tea in a kettle so that was a nice touch.I think this is a great place if you have a sushi craving but also want a nice bowl of Chinese beef noodle soup. Haha. Overall, food is tasty and taste freshly made.
Min Min Pie House

Drove by this place a lot while we went shopping at Good Fortune Market across street. My husband is a big fan of pan fried buns so we decided to check it out. Before came here, I looked at their menu and it had extensive and authentic flavors for dumplings and pies. That's how I knew they were legit!!We came on a rainy Saturday around 11:30am there were only two other tables. I feel on a nice day it would be busier. For food we got:- pork scallion pie (5/5). Wowwwww a must try!! It was so juicy and flavorful. The outside is perfectly crispy. This is our favorite and we definitely will try other flavors next time.- pan fried chicken mushroom dumplings (5/5). I love the dumpling skin as you can taste the slightly chew and that's how you know it's handmade!- cucumber salad (5/5). Very refreshing and balance out the richness of all the fried dumplings.- pan fried bun (4/5). This is probably my least favorite although it's still pretty good. It doesn't have much juice as I thought it would like the pie. So I'll stick with the pies next time.No fuss service. You order via QR code and food comes out around 10-15 minutes. They have a sign to explain the 15 min wait due to all handmade to order which is well worth it!! This has become our new go-to for weekend brunch.
