Good on the budget, tasty, memorable, family owned.Looking for a way to warm up while leaving satisfied, stomach and wallet? Seek no further because Soup Shop is your stop for all this. Firstly, you walk in and get this excited feeling. Being a small spot you get a clear view of the restaurant. Good sized tables that can accommodate any customer(s) that walk in. First come first serve (unless you reserve a table), and come fast because I can tell they get busy at night.Walking in you already get a good vibe about the place. You will be kindly seated by one of the servers of the restaurant, which is one of the daughters. Im given a menu with my Pho, appetizer, and drink options. Staff members have no problems answering questions, and give their best recommendations. Fast paced workers with great attitudes. This Pho location is great for coming alone, or spending time with friends and family.Signature key ingredients, enticing broth that simmers for 24-hours- the list could go for reasons to go back. Ordering oxtail with beef rib was new and needed. A mixture of this soothing broth, green onion, white onion, soft noodles, and tender meat will have you craving for more. I awaited every spoonful. Very appetizing overall.I also enjoyed the Crunchy Pork Bao, first experience trying quail egg- and the sweetness of the pork shoulder gave it a nice flavor. The drink options all sound tasty, I ordered however the Jasmine Honey Green Tea. This drink was refreshing after the hearty soup. If youre looking for something to cleanse your pallet that coincides with your meal, I recommend it. In the end, this is an experience for food lovers and newcomers to the Pho scene.Ill be back.-B.P.
La Palma Restaurant
412 N State College Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92806, United States
Quality of food decreased in quality and very expensive. The meat was very salty, greasy and lots of tendons/ chewy. I used to go there because of the pupusas. The pupusas are very thin and I did not taste the chicarron. My mom/ grandma tasted the 7 mares soup and she said that the meat tasted like dishsoap water. Perhaps, the seafood in it was okd and frozen from long ago. Restaurant El Pescador has the 7 mares soup cheaper and grear tasting. My husband said that we are done and we are not returning. Sorry, this is unfortunate that the food is like this. I used to recomend it to lots of people, but now I am embarrassed.

The service was good, friendly gentleman, we had to get to disney so i ordered the fried mojara. Sadly to say i didnt get to enjoy it. Thanks a lot my shatter box fam...? well But the rest of the fam enjoyed their food. The mole and menudo was like the guys had at their native land mex. If i had been able to taste my food i would have probably given it a 4 star supporting small buisness through this pandemic. Try this place out is pretty good. But if you have a shatter box fam like mine dont go on a tight schedule.?
Ph Place Noodle & Rice, Anaheim
511 S Brookhurst St, Anaheim, CA 92804, United States
Friendly, open space, clean, neat and tidy. The pho place located just few miles from predominantly Vietnamese cities, the west minister and garden grove, this restaurant offers the best beef noodle soup. The broth is tangy, salty and well blended with all the ingredients. The crispy spring rolls are great appetisers.

First, let me say that I don’t like writing bad reviews, much less about local restaurants. That being said, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had, period. I don’t think I would eat anything made at this place even if it was offered to me for free while I was stranded and starving in the wilderness. We came here looking for good local food in the Anaheim area last Tuesday. We were seated immediately; our servers were nice and friendly. I ordered the vegetable pho and spring rolls as an appetizer, and my partner ordered the chicken pho.We got the spring rolls and I started eating them. My partner showed me his roll with ham inside. My own had shrimp. Nowhere on the menu did it say that the spring rolls had meat or seafood; every other restaurant I have been to with spring rolls *at the very least* clarified on the menu if there was meat or not. We called our server over and he asked us if we wanted the tofu spring rolls instead. I was completely bewildered that, again, none of this was listed on the menu — the appetizer was simply listed as spring rolls. I was also upset because I don’t eat pork, and I would have NEVER ordered something with pork in it. The tofu spring roll skin was extremely tough and hard to chew, and overall not great. The worst part of it was the so called pho. Pho is cooked over many long hours and it’s a delicious soup I’ve had many times at other authentic restaurants. I literally couldn’t take more than a few bites of the “pho” here because it tasted so bad, like an entire bowl of vegetables and microwaved noodles with canned vegetable broth. The broth was so salty — think instant ramen quality — that it was making me nauseous just trying to eat it. Scratch that — that’s an insult to instant ramen — it was more like prison food. It was like eating out of a bowl of soy sauce, except the soy sauce tastes like piss (sorry for this description, but yes, it really was THAT bad). My partner later said that his chicken was extremely tough, and that his broth also tasted like it had been canned. For over $15 per bowl, I was mad (and also still hungry). With tax and the tip, the bill came out to roughly $50 — $50 for food that we couldn’t even stomach because it tasted like piss. We took most of our “pho” to go because we hate food waste, but we ended up throwing it all out the next day anyway because neither of us could stomach our own leftovers. I hate to be one of those people that says “I could make this at home!” but seriously, I could have made something fresher and actually edible in less than ten minutes.TLDR; I gave this place two stars because the service wasn’t horrible and the place seemed decently clean, but I would never come here again. At least with fast food, you get what you pay for on a budget. I feel sorry for the reviewers calling this good pho — seriously are you guys okay? Blink twice if you need help, Mr. Pho is not holding you hostage.
California Pizza Kitchen at Anaheim Garden Walk
321 West Katella Avenue, Garden Walk, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
We are a group of 10 we were promised a table in 15 min and ended up to be a 40 min wait. We finally got a table outside as we requested ... it was dark and the lamps needed maintenance ... we decided to ordered ... our orders included soups, appetizers, pizzas amd entries ... after a long wait all orders were rushed in together ... the soup and salad came in last! Food was cold and the thin and crispy pizza was saggy and far from crispy. Restaurant business is about curtsy and ambient seating and not only about feeding the crowds CPK Anaheim, CA. branch is still short learned on this side of things and need to learn more about it. If I am looking for a quality time out in a group I am going to avoid this place all together.

This location is fine but in whats a strong selling point in other restaurants, the bread is stale and not tasty. The soup isnt hot but good salads

We stood in front of an empty counter until I shouted to the back for them to tell me I order on the kiosk. I was surprised that it was self order. It would have been nice for a sign to say that or maybe its the new thing and I just havent been to a restaurant in a while. At least the food was pretty good but the soup was ordinary and underwhelming.
